What's all the trouble with Kotorfanfic? You guys keep saying that the guy who created it was an impostor but I don't understand anything!!! Can someone explain me, please?

I plan to start with a male Jedi Sentinel. I know it sounds weird as a choice but I really like average classes (or jack-of-all-trades classes if you prefer)... I already have a Scout/Jedi Guardian in Kotor1, so I want something different... I just wanna begin the game with a character that is good at everything (the Sentinel -just like the Scout- has good skill points, average VPs and FPs and average feat progression and interesting special abilities). Later on, I will pick a more combat-oriented prestige class (like the Jedi Weapon Master) just like I did in the first game so that I can hack&slash my way to fame and glory! Cheers.

Nice thread! It seems you guys try to avoid what happened with a certain troll named "ADMHYDROGENSUCKS" (or something like that)... He was really annoying but didn't last long...

Are those really bad news? I don't mind about card games as I actually like them... Nowadays, you tend to see more and more of them in videogames and the funny part is that they are all different from each other! Everything started with FF8, FF9 continued this and many other games copied that idea...

Why do you say that? I believe you can kill the last boss with just your lightsaber if you are a jedi guardian (weapon specialisation for lightsabers) and if you have 18 or more STR...

Just go check all the great things we have this year at E3!!! So many games: Metal Gear Solid3, Silent Hill4, Resident Evil4, Devil May Cry3, Dragon Age, Kotor2, World of Warcraft... Wow! However, most of them are sequels: what's going on? Developers seems to lack a bit of imagination... There are other weird games on the other hand: a playboy (?) game and another one with the Larry guy (a well-known pervert)... Has any of you played any of the old Larry games? I think there were 7 or 8 of them and many of my classmates used to play them at sixth grade...

First of all what do you have against muppet-like creatures? I kinda like them... Haven't you liked master Yoda? Haven't you liked the gremlins? Anyway, I will go for Wicket as I don't find Jar Jar (another interactive, liveless creature) really interesting as a character... He was supposed to make you laugh in Episode I but I just found him annoying. And his voice was crap. Have you seen by the way the Ewoks movies? There are 2 of them and are quite enjoyable... I have seen them again recently since I have recorded them on video tapes but I guess these are movies that are more suited for 12 year-old children... They are too simplistic...

From what I am reading, I think I will not even borrow it from one of my friends... sounds like a barbie game... I am sorry, but rpgs and rts games interest me a lot more...

I don't know much about that game so this is why I am posting here: I just wanna get your opinion on it until I manage to borrow it from one of my friends... What's up with this game? I have read reviews and they were saying pretty much good things about it but they merely convinced me... Now I see that they will release a sequel, so it must be something good. Many (mostly girls) have suggested me to buy it but I always told them that I was more the RPG type of gamer... I can't understand whats so cool to play a game in which you do things you can actually do in real life. It's like pretending you are living a normal life while you can actually live it. What's so special with RPGs is that you get out of the ordinary and are put in a position of power (it's not only that but I try to summarize). I don't see how the Sims will satisfy a true rpgamer's thirst and so I ask you if you have played that game and if you have liked it. Cheers. PS: The Sims 2 has really nice graphics though.

Where did you find that trailer, by the way? Also is there another format for it? Quicktime, maybe? Windows Media Player doesn't work on my pc...

I have to admit that BG2 is my personal favorite game and will always consider as the best game ever made... It's just a matter of choice as I really liked all the game's features... however, I will not get into that discussion since these are Kotor2 boards... Cheers.

Hey, I have some questions here: Who is Mara Jade anyway? Can we group those people into 2 categories so as to make things clearer? There are so many "Darth" people in the SW universe: how about "the bad guys in the movies" and "the bad guys in Kotor"? Movies: Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Darth Maul Kotor: Darth Malak, Darth Revan, Darth Bandon, Bastila, the three siths on the star forge Who is Darth Tyranus? Is he the guy who chops Anakin's arm in Episode II? There is also one thing I haven't understood in the movies: There is a guy named Lord Duku (I think) in the movies and he leads the opposition against the Republic, is he Darth Tyranus? There was also another Jedi who is named in Episode II, a guy who supposedly disappeared "ten years ago" and who had ordered the creation of the clone army... Does anyone have any clue about who he is? Cheers.
