  1. the notion o' min-maxed class tiers is amusing to us... particular in a single-player game. is the class too weak to be fun? is the class too powerful to be fun? answer should be "no" to both queries. if we don't get a "no" from near all players, then developers need make balance changes, but concern over relative power of classes is only relevant when it makes classes unplayable. as to original question 'bout playing cipher correct, see above. is the cipher fun? then you is playing correct. make sure you have squeezed every possible dps outta a class is a waste as your success will depend, in part, on your individual play-style and party composition and any number o' other factors. there is also gonna be level shadows-- two to three levels, before a particular ability or whatnot is available that a worldbeater class feels positive mortal. regardless, is not a question worth much consideration. fun or not? is only thing that should matter. HA! Good Fun!
  2. depends on our options. being human is swell and all, but if we could be a telepathic god-puma with opposable thumbs and the ability to transform discarded plastic into end-cut prime rib, we would give serious thought to discarding our humanity. HA! Good Fun!
  3. silly kenny loggins movie theme, but caddyshack makes this one different. anybody who has seen caddyshack, listen to this song on radio or an mp3 and try to Not picture a dancing gopher in your noggin. HA! Good Fun!
  4. we got dual citizenship, so the answer is more complex for us. we will limit to US citizenship for the sake o' simplicity.... and then we won't actual answer your query. we has traveled a fair bit. been to most countries in europe, a few which no longer exist. asia is familiar to us, though not so much the islamic nations. have only twice been to the african continent. *shrug* Americans is considered arrogant. the "amerika, f*** yeah!" stuff is mostly myth. look on this board alone and am thinking you can realize americans is quick to be critical o' the USA. in our experience, americans is actual more critical o' their mother country than is the citizens o' almost any other western nation. even so, we understand why Amercians seem arrogant. individual americans, more than almost any other citizens we has met, believe they matter. americans believe their opinions matter. they believe they deserve respect for no other reason than they is walking and breathing. contrary to popular belief 'cross the globe, americans don't see self worth being tied to their american citizenship. however, is fundamental to the american character that we have significance and power simple by existing. an american is not dissuaded 'cause few others share his beliefs. in fact, americans seem to take a kinda pride in being attacked or vilified for his/her beliefs. revolutionary heroes and all that. most americans believe they is right... about everything. we do seem arrogant. 'course this is what makes americans different. being american means we believe we matter. is no such thing as a lost or hopeless cause... or rather, it don't matter if a cause is lost or hopeless. americans is as likely (if not more likely) to fight for a hopeless cause. the lessons o' brutal history and generations o' inherited ennui has taught the rest o' the world that individual efforts is, in the grand scheme, pointless. being an american is different. being an american means we know we matter. americans don't think they is special 'cause they is american. myth. the american character is inextricable tied to a sense o' self worth which is alien in most parts o' the world. I matter. not need an explanation or a reason. not need proof o' worth. water is wet. the sun is warm. americans matter. I matter. is what it means to be an american. not exact answering your question, but... HA! Good Fun!

  8. yeah, but is tough to use examples who got away with doping 'cause, y'know, they got away with it. *shrug* am thinking most folks outside the US assume that US sport is like their european or asian or wherever sports. we don't have a analogous sports infrastructure. you wanna be a gymnast, swimmer or wrestler? is not as if your talent is discovered and groomed by the State. we never once had a swim class at any public school we attended. parents and community gotta make sacrifices... and how likely is that gonna be when the payoff for becoming anything other than a sooper-elite athlete is negligible? heck, if you got a lick o' athletic talent in this country and you ain't already rich, then chances are you is gonna consider professional sports opportunities rather than olympic. you got the talent to be the one o' the top 20 sabre fencers in the US, or you got an extreme outside shot at making a pro baseball or football team? if your low-income family is balancing whether or not to get you a membership to a local fencing salon and pay for all the expensive equipment necessary to develop your talent, or they spend that fantasy money on expensive summer football and speed/weight training camps, the choice is gonna be obvious to most. we got major land grant universities with wonderful facilities, but foreign nationals got same access to those facilities too. we got some o' the best PRIVATE sports training facilities and coaches too, but those requires money to access. foreign and state supported athletes got same kinda access to those private facilities as does Americans. the two russian olympians who has most been in the news o' late, the breaststroker and the lone russian track & field olympian, both train in the US. tanstaafl HA! Good Fun!
  9. why should we look at lance armstrong? he is the rarity o' US athletes we mentioned earlier: wealthy. armstrong had access to all kinds o' cutting edge drugs, but the typical US olympian is having to make considerable monetary sacrifices just to continue training. am not kidding 'bout the church bake sales. if you think the average US olympian has access to better doping options than those athletes from 'round the world who get state support, you is kidding yourself. is actual depressing to Gromnir how little the US supports its olympic athletes. also, armstrong only competed in olympics once, back in 2000. might not be best example. that being said, doping in cycling has for decades rumored to be rampant. testing /mongst cyclist is considered kinda a joke. HA! Good Fun!
  10. yeah, the eeoc kinda made a mistake by even suggesting that the gadsden flag could, in and of itself, be a kinda racist message. shoulda' stuck with finding and avoided troubling dicta. HA! Good Fun! That is the problem with leftist notions of Government. They have to interfere. They just can't help themselves. oh, we believe you is kinda overstating. eeoc ALJ is judges, but they ain't judicial branch. ALJ is executive bureaucrats and they don't have the necessary job security to make rulings w/o being political. sure enough, the eeoc recognized that censoring the gadsden flag would create a p00p storm o' epic proportions... and would be monumental stoopid. if eeoc found in favor o' censoring, the case would eventual get before a federal appeals judge who would then chastise the eeoc in blistering fashion. even so, the eeoc attempted to be diplomatic with their ruling... which is bad. don't wanna offend is a concern for politicians but not judges. is one o' the many inherent flaws in having executive ALJ. HA! Good Fun!
  11. ... that is so very sad. HA! Good Fun!
  12. well, we suspect that pc rpgs is only gonna get better, and there will always be another star wars movie to look forward to. we do a great deal o' volunteer work with a local soup kitchen/school for homeless/shelter for mental ill mothers. am also suspecting that dogs, or something like 'em, will always exist. due to unexpected circumstances we got two border collies and two mutts, and we also help out two o' our disabled neighbors with their dogs, so is tough for us to be bored for very long. annoyed? yes, very much so. bored? no. our concerns is not so much with boredom, but rather the fine print. eternal life w/o eternal youth would be problematic. immortality but without immunity to life ending diseases and injuries could lead to a kinda perpetual and unending torture. HA! Good Fun!
  13. yeah, the eeoc kinda made a mistake by even suggesting that the gadsden flag could, in and of itself, be a kinda racist message. shoulda' stuck with finding and avoided troubling dicta. HA! Good Fun!
  14. become immune to lightning or death? sounds like a no lose choice. please send us details o' the protocol. much thanks. HA! Good Fun!
  15. our fav might actual be bedford. is not revolutionary, and has become too much emblematic of nra, but we also likes the gonzales banner. HA! Good Fun!
  16. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demagogue I sorry he's wearing the Gadsen flag. Easily one of the coolest symbols in US history. oddly enough, the gadsden flag is a knock-off o' an earlier minuteman flag... am drawing a blank on the name. 'course we only know the history of the gadsden flag 'cause o' the eeoc kerfuffle. HA! Good Fun! Are you referring to this one? The First Navy Jack? I actually have it up on my wall. no. as we said, it were a minuteman flag. however, is possible we got it backwards as to which came first. am knowing that benjamin franklin is the guy who popularized the notion o' the snake as emblematic o' the American spirit/identity with the "snake divided" image and the "join or die" standard that followed. s'posed spawned numerous snake flags thereafter. gadsden flag does have kewlness in its favor. *shrug* our knowledge o' flags is decidedly post texas v. johnson. HA! Good Fun! ps apologize for removing images, but am doing our part to keep clutter reduced.

  18. Hmm, guess I'm wrong. Although I do not know what authority Jill Geer has on this matter and it's kind of iffy to take a quote from a mail, but ok. I wonder if there is a record of how many independent (non-US) tests have been done to the US athletes over their Olympic history. *sigh* http://www.antidopings.lv/uploads/2016/ioc_adr_final_rio_2016_games_of_the_xxxi_olympiad_ioc_anti-doping_rules.pdf read section 5.2 HA! Good Fun! ps the usada, as 'posed to wada, makes test results public. wanna know how many times an individual American athlete were tested is far easier to discover than those from most other nations.
  19. Ok, ok, I was pocking for some fun. But I fully believe that all the major athletes are doping, be they state sponsored or just have good doctors to hide their results. Including our guys too... As for the US I do find it odd that they would forbid any independent testing. kinda misleading. the testing that occurs at international competitions is handled by wada approved (and local) labs. is not as if americans at rio is getting some kinda special consideration. "When Team USA arrives in Rio, members can also be subjected to additional testing at any time by the International Olympic Committee or the International Association of Athletics Federations." so no, us athletes is not subject only to their own anti-doping policy and they routinely is tested by independent sources. HA! Good Fun!
  20. bad news for carson wentz and philly http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000684674/article/eagles-qb-carson-wentz-suffers-hairline-rib-fracture HA! Good Fun!
  21. what a shocking misinterpretation. nigeria and ethiopia gots relative large populations, so one would expect them to actual represent better than they has done. and as for poor... HA! "Less than $15K annually is what about 50% of T&F (Track and Field) athletes who rank in the top 10 in the U.S. This is from all sources: sponsorships, grants, prize money, etc.). Anyone below top 10 ranking in the USA likely has little to no income or funding from their sporting activity." am actual always surprised by how well the US represents at the olympics given just how little the US supports its athletes. it is the sacrifice o' parents, spouses and children that makes it possible for most olympians to forgo a real job and train for olympics. sure, phelps and a handful o' others got lucrative (VERY lucrative) advert and sponsorship contracts, but that just ain't the case for 90% o' our athletes. US motto should be: tinstaafl. US ain't a socialist nation that grooms and supports its athletes. families and communities is responsible for recognizing and supporting our athletes. local church bake sales has done more to send American athletes to the Olympics than has our government. weep for those poor nigerians and ethiopians if you wish, but the typical american olympian won't be able to squeeze out many tears. HA! Good Fun!
  22. money. am complete in agreement with amentep, particularly as we wanna see different kinda star wars rather than numerous repackaged space operas. unfortunately, with the kinda budgets in play, am suspecting execs is reluctant to take risks. execs is looking at huge investments so they natural ask 'selves 'bout what resonated with The Masses when force awakens were released. thinking is one can't afford to have a bomb which would hurt a multi-billion dollar brand. *shrug* execs should adjust thinking. new star wars is not a three-movie offering with decades removed from previous star wars films. gonna be getting star wars every year for foreseeable future and strikes us as foolish to churn out the same sausage every single time. is ironic, but fans will hate you if as a creator o' entertainments you meet their expectations. give folks exact what they ask for results in complaints o' derivative, predictable and boring. new star wars scheme won't last long if it don't have variety and surprise. gonna need be different or fans will become bored. 'course, is not Gromnir's money. if were our money, and we were only thinking o' the next film, we would do same as execs. HA! Good Fun!
  23. rumor is that the studio agrees with you, which is why the powers that be ordered extensive reshoots. HA! Good Fun!
  24. cbs was confused... gonna be fun replaying the miscall. https://twitter.com/netw3rk/status/763922087916339205/photo/1 HA!
