  1. Every video game romance* I have experienced felt too abrupt. It's two conversations and "Hey, I feel this deep, profound connection between us." It feels more like stepping in to a trap than any kind of relationship. Then it ends as abruptly as it started. "Sex was great. Lets kill the big bad." *Exceptions being Jaheira and Viconia in BG2 and Tali in ME2, because in both cases romance blossomed in the sequel.
  2. Didn't this same thing happen with Radeon 480?
  3. Huh, I just realized that according to Dante Hell is level scaled. Did it make Hell better or worse? Is it the first example of level scaling? Deep thoughts, man, deep thoughts.

  5. It's not like I wanted her to be fully fleshed out companion or anything, baka.
  6. I wonder if either of them will comment how quiver is just a big ****.
  7. Gotta love that "rally english." I do disagree with that defination a bit. Rally english also needs to be really fluent like a rally driver going fast. No pauses, no thinking, just pedal to the metal.
  8. Am I understanding this correctly? You can only have three active skills? That can't be right, can it?
  9. Can I set anchor at some nude beach and it's not weird I'm not nude since I'm on a boat and not on a nude beach?
  10. The truly wondrous origin of 5/7. Highlander Pillars of Eternity crossover confirmed?! Proof:
  11. I haven't played many adventure games so I haven't encounter these types of illogical puzzles. My pet peeve with adventure games is that you have to have the exact thing to solve the puzzle. I think it was in Dreamweb where I had to break an electric wire thingy to open a door. First I tried my trusty axe on it. Didn't work. Then I tried pouring my trusty beer on it. Didn't work. Turns out I had to use a knife to open the wires and then pour water on them. I still think axe and beer should have worked.
  12. My main problem with it was that it didn't really feel like an Obsidian game. No storyline, and you couldn't really customize your tank equipment or crew skills any more than in World of Tanks.
  13. 50 year old Bill and Ted, I would pay to see that. Then again Dumb and Dumber 2 was a let down and so was Zoolander 2. Oh! This would be Bill and Ted 3 not 2. Forget everything I said. It's going to awesome!
  14. Combat trailer was crap. It didn't show even one battle just random attacks here and there. But the story trailer is gold.
  15. Going by the warning in the investor page (they have over $2m in reservation for funds which is the max allocated), all the stretch goals up to $3.2 millions have been achieved (pending approval). It's almost unbelievable. Obsidian hitting it out of the park once again. Great work everybody!
  16. I basically want the scripted interactions be colored in the same style as watercolor portraits. I think if the game ends up having too many different art styles in it the end result would get rather disjointed. I would also suggest to make the dialogue background to be same kind of parchment as in scripted interactions. In the current information there is 2D/3D gameplay art style, high quality portraits art style, watercolor portraits, and UI like dialogue background. That's simply too many. I don't think it would work.
  17. I most definitely will be using Berath's Blessing. First playthrough will be with story mode difficulty to learn encounters, quests, and get those blessings. Then my character will be total badass and ready for higher difficulty levels.
  18. One of the best SNL sketches I have seen.
