OBS-4 Discussion (game and roll call)
I can see Kaftan's first project for Uni! What are some good races to have? I suggest the same 3 unit start. Maybe have seven to ten players? Lots of neutral territories, but have them in between races, so that there is no uncontested planets ...

OBS-4 Discussion (game and roll call)
That might actually work. Planets instead of continents, moons instead of islands, fleets of spaceships and conquering armies. Bigger planets have more than one presence (neutral or otherwise). Looking at the standard map, there is one large continent, Europe (planet with six countries, the central four touching two neighbours around swtizerland, in a ring. One of the central countries has a neutral land adjacent (Austria and Balkans) and then another country adjacent to that, whilst two of the ring countries, together with the neutral and the last country, abut the biggest country (Russia), which also has a third border with another neutral area (Scandinavia). There are two islands (England, Africa) - moons.

It just means you have to look outside the course for social life. Difficult for geeks, I know (difficult for most people to step outside their comfort circle), but I think Kaftan has more than adequate social skills. And a doggie! Doggies are teh r0x0rz!1 for meeting females. Oh, and congrats again, Kaftan.

Well, I seem to be above average, so I hope I'll be able to play it ... Something I just noticed, for all you linguists out there, what is the difference between Korean (Adult) and Korean (teen) ?

Excellent film!- This game is average
I don't see how you can advocate that the central theme of K2 was nihilism. Sure, it was a pretty ambivalent story, presumeably because they had to allow for both LS and DS progression (and the writers were lazy or stymied), but I don't see a victory for nihilism: quite the opposite, Kreia and her determination to carry out Zarathustra's observation were thawted by the Exile; the Force wins! The Force is not nihilism. Sure, maybe Darkside protagonists are hedonistic, but this isn't the central theme. After all, according to lore, DS characters die a permanent death, whereas LS realise everlasting life (albeit as a blue ghost ...)- TSL Restoration Project: Work in Progress
Great work. You have really put together a well-oiled admin system, regardless of the result of the modding. I am pleased for you! PS I am using myApple.- T.O.M.B.S, vol 2

No, probably argue that this added flexibility allows for better, upgraded, latest technological HD add-on, whilst keeping the entry-level model available to the widest possible audience. A real console for the people ..! "- New Aftermath Information
Not unless they ramp it down significantly. Lost Coast is being made as a game only for people with really high end machines. Valve are basically taking the engine as far as it can go with it and making everything look fancy. Lots of people who could play HL2 won't be able to play Lost Coast, myself included probably. Not to mention I don't have the bandwidth to download it. <grumbles> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not necessarily; assumptions of ass and you make, youngling: 9 August 2005- RPGs in Production

I would write an article, but I have no grey press to issue. You are too fundamental in your views, Kaftan. There is no way to win the game if you keep your alliances with everyone (even if that is just one person).- Really Friggin Pissed

As with any source of information, I don't mind so long as I can tell what their bias is. (It's a foregone conclusion with Fox ...) As long as Fox is not your only source of news, then you are okay. Personally, I like to read the newspapers regularly, just because it is impossible to cover any current affairs in sufficient depth in five minute sound bites, which is the format that predominates the tv. A different slant can make a HUGE difference, especially if it's reported as if it is not biased. I think the BBC news service deserves its distinction for even-handed reporting. Even so, there are more than the average amount of socialists in the employ: one newsreader accidentally called the Labour Party "we" on air recently ... I would like to see the Citizen Kane effect circumvented, though. I think it is very dangerous that Murdock controls most of the media around the world, for example. I know it is paranoid to suggest that he can control an election, but the fact remains that one of his newspapers (The Sun, a popular tabloid that started the "Page 3" phenomenon) has backed the winner of every election, Conservative and Labour ... - For all those times up late at night,
