  1. I am watching you. The Sentinel sees all, even the future. (Except that speeding ticket I'm going to get next week
  2. Absolutely! (What's good for the boys is good for the girls.) I really dug the first one. That blue (water) level, deep inside whereever it was (with the crocodiles): the way that the sets were all multi-level, and the flick of a switch would change (usually the water level) so that Lara could explore the newer area. That one with the giant statues,
  3. RAM is a cheap, easy win, too (if you have less than a megabyte).
  4. Should he take his character with him? (Depends if you like your character, methinks ...)
  5. I also disagree with this statement. I played PnP long before I played any cRPG and my first encounter with the concept of AC was from AD&D. And I never thought decreasing AC made much sense. Then again, I think AC the way it works in either D&D edition is stupid anyways. But that is beside the point. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, that's the point exactly. AC is *stupid*. It makes no sense at all, and attempting to explain it logically is far more difficult than it is whether it should be counted up or down. Why start at 10 anyway? That's silly too, isn't it? I mean, a high AC is good (in 3e), right? So why does my character get a full 10 points to begin with? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why did German physicist Gabriel Daniel Fahrenheit create a scale where water freezes at 32
  6. Never played it. Started BG2 a few times, too ...
  7. I thought he was too stereotypical: dark, brooding angst-ridden warrior-priest wanker ... then again, "stereotype" is just a synonym for archetype ... How much further does the game go after Kurtis gets past his first end boss (wolfie)?
  8. I'm sure I'll get it (for curiosity's sake, if for no other reason). I have a sackful of games to play at the moment, providing I can wean myself off TOMBS for a while ...
  9. That doesn't make sense, or is incorrect. Please clarify.
  10. .. or a third party?

Yes*. *Errors corrected realtime, as parsed.

We believe In the beginning religion didn't exist, so why did we feel the need to invent it, asks evolutionary biologist Robin Dunbar
  13. cancer sucks, i heard you can get it from farting <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No.
  14. Life begins at FORTY! ^_^
  15. Dyslexia is not a mental impairment, strickly speaking, but a inability to focus on written word, with the letters appearing to swim and swap positions. I know a lot of very intelligent sufferers. Imbeciles who try to hide behind a legitimate physical impairment are living in denial, as well as ignorance, however.
  16. He's not that old! <_<
  17. Are you advocating an AI-driven NPC hero running around solving (perhaps even competing on the same) missions, as the PC? Interesting thought ... So the Chernobyl-type AI (or what they are attempting to pull-off, however successfully it eventually is): the emergent artificial life? I would be happy to see, as I've said before, an extra processor to do all the donkey work, like the GPU does for rendering. The IPU ...
  18. *pauses, for reflection, in headlong rush to buy the game* Moral equivalence from Eldar regarding necrophilia? I'm confused. Surely there should be rivers of blood and wives turning to pillars of salt?
  19. Not so much of the "old", thank you.
  20. Jealousy is better than envy. Jealousy says "I like what you want and I want it too." Envy says "I want what you've got, and if I can't have it, neither can you." Hitachi bought the hardrive business off IBM a few years ago, didn't they? They should be pretty reliable. Seagate are good, always have been.
  21. Any one you might wish to use.
  22. Abusing the artifacts, or the people?
  23. but... bible study class sounds good to me... And thanks for the critiques you guys gave my report. But why does it look like TADF is taking over TOMBS? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sssshhh! Super secret undercover plots cannot be revealed in unprotected transmission!
  24. Yes. My favoutites must survive.
