  1. That's just the matrix onto which the real models (read: "ordinary people" renting webspace for their webcam video chat) are projected. E.g.: Walk into a bar, talk to a couple of people, go over to the booth with one of them, start live video chat. Easy.
  2. *Pruned* Let's keep the spam out of useful topics, please: that's what IM is for.
  3. I freestyle, man: I don't follow dance steps. I can't. Also, if it was Spar, Boxing Revolution then I might be interested ... but even then it's not about following dance steps ...
  4. ... comes in a silver, reflective color that may or may not have something to do with the game.

  6. I dunno, that looks more like a gopher, to me. " I played the first game, went "Uh, so my task is to hop through these ruins and shoot random animals? Whats the point of that?!" and Ive never touched the franchise since then <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it's a puzzle game. Most of the entertainment I derived from the game was understanding the intricate (jumping / man
  7. I just spent a little bit of time with the difficulty splider down, and using hand-to-hand (something I haven't done at all). Lots of fun!
  8. The guy from the codex who killed the "only beautiful character" he could find in Oblivion, then took screenshots and posted them (and Llyranor reposted here) was the best character ...
  9. Not that's going anywhere near my electronics ...
  10. Now, if we could only identify what was inside them ...
  11. Probably that high-saturated-fat diet ...
  12. Currently re-watching my new purchase of Pitch Black (to go with my earlier purchase of Chronicles) ... watching it again I see all the idiosyncrasies, e.g. it must have been filmed in Australia, because the ensemble cast all have antipodean accents! :D
  13. Ah, good old paternalism: don't worry, we'll do all that nasty hard thinking for you, you just be good, worshipful drones. Not only do secret sects garner my ire, but also my suspicion: what have they got to hide? " (Apart from the papal distain of the common person's ability to grasp complex truths, of course.) Nah, they have something to hide alright, and I am only sorry that I'll never get to read all that juicy stuff in the Vatican vault.
  14. Steamed is the healthiest way to heat food: less nutrients lost in the process. Fried
  15. Zardoz was okay ... until the flying head. One of Connery's best was Outland.
  16. I was serious about the futures comment. Is it worst to be used by a game publisher, a merchant banker, or a stock broker ... hmmm ...?
  17. I must admit, I am not consciously metagaming. (It's unconscious.:D)
  18. No surprises that you liked Signs, Eldar ... "
  19. Eldar, my information is that the various texts that have been uncovered (at Qumran and elsewhere) collectively known as the "Dead Sea Scrolls", have not been released for general scholarship. The reason I think this is important is because some of these scrolls were written with a different audience in mind, so they are not so touchy-feely with the Roman Empire (like the eponymous Catholicism), and in fact their contrasts would help ascertain exactly what happened two millennia ago in Palestine. I think it is egregious arrogance and the antipathy of the spirit of Christianity (brotherhood, greater good and all that) for one theoligarchy to withhold knowledge, just because they won't like the answers that it provides (cf. the Shroud of Turin). For this reason, any gnostic religions, especially those that pretend that they aren't gnostic, gain my ire.
  20. Take all the cash takings for the job whilst you are in charge, and hold back the salaries for all the workers. Keep all the cash; then you'll have an unparalleled bargaining position, when the boss returns ... "
  21. So you are watching a homunculus of your wife run around Oblivion naked? Do you want to talk about it? "
  22. Lame it may be, but I'd be surprised if they don't start their own mint, afterwards.
  23. I have already used a wolf as a de facto block trainer ... "
  24. It's quite easy, actually. Just requires a bit of hand-eye coordination. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why you young whippersnapper! I was dodging alien invaders before you were born! Now, where did I put my dentures ... memory's not what it used to be ... <_<
  25. I am tempted ... I am still half-way through the third one (currently installed on my PC), but I can't really get into it ... it's just not fun to play.
