  1. All the pansies that play American Football would not know what to do whithout all their nancy padding: try a real man's game of Australian Rules or Rugby Union.
  2. Which is why Direct Download is just as good: I have a laser printer and I can choose the highest grade of DVD to burn, AND have it printed with the latest DVD writers ...
  3. Tom Berenger is one of those great actors lost in the plethora of Hollywood also-rans.
  4. What ordinal Sign of the Apocalypse have we just reached, I wonder ...
  5. What annoys me is the marketing concept of a big, mostly-empty box with a tiny DVD-holder and a C5 piece of glossy paper that passes for "contents". Now if there was a cloth map or a coin ...
  6. Mus? did you get the Alexander expansion with that? Apparently it's only available by direct download ...
  7. Source HDR is software.
  8. Baley, you look a LOT better than I expected (take that as you will) ...
  9. Phantom of the Opera is superlatively written, acted, sung and directed (and produced, and set-dressed, and the properties are first-rate), but if you don't like musical theatre you may not enjoy it.
  10. For example, different personality types do not necessarily cooperate smoothly.
  11. I would except that one light that flickers isn't affected by the OCP and I can't shoot it out. When I'm carrying a guy I move too slowly to get out of the way before it comes back on. Is there somewhere to sneak to I'm missing? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just knock out the soldiers. I did it first time.
  12. The 7900GTX is much, much quieter than the 6800, even with the stock cooler. the 7900 uses the smaller die (60nm versus 90nm, IIRC = less power required, less heat given off and better, quieter operation besides).
  13. I'd lay ten to one it was strangulation, followed by decap. Not that I'd know.
  14. After rebuilding my laptop from scratch, I haven't located another copy of the IBM world map ...
  15. I wonder if he can sue the state for a refund for the cost of her course? "
  16. Exactly. Computer equipment makes the list of things that go in your car, not the moving van. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, or at least all the expensive nd fragile bits .... I wouldn't get the 7950GX2 at all: it's poorly made (just two 7900s sandwiched together, with a hole cut out of one to allow air to circulate into to crappy stock fan of the other). I'd go for the 7900, because it has the new tech (including compatibility with the 20% speed boost with the latest, just released nVidia PCI-E chips (5? using the special GPU RAM)) and smaller die / card (not double-sized, like the 7800GTX512).
  17. What browser are you using?

I guess there was some telekinesis involved, otherwise this Captain Marvel would just fall uselessly into a pile of limbs.
  19. Thief: Deadly Shadows X box EXCLUSIVE* * As seen on the cover of the game in a Game store, today.

What? There are so many things wrong with that! First, she's a super-hero. As in "not gratuitous t&a", actually the whole point (that just happens to look like gratuitous t&a). Two, what about her super powers? no-one can truly keep her out, if she doesn't want it.
