  1. Yes. Um. I would be Tom Baker's fifth Doctor. "
  2. the original had some good material from time to time but the overall feel of it was sooo hokey and low budget. I may have to check out the new series. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The writer / exec producer is a life-long fan, and he is treating the
  3. Hee hee. My friend couldn't get over that illogic! (He took his two daughters to see it, and frowned all the way through it.) They even had repair shops, but no people. That requires a child's perspective to suspend disbelief ... Meta, for a friend of yours to be like that does not surprise me at all. :Darque: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey! I resemble that remark.
  4. Hong Kong? Right, I'll be Spot!
  5. Very, very poorly.
  6. If it doesn't go off then what purpose does it serve? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be the threat of Mutually Assured Destruction used as an insurance policy to prevent "normal" people from killing themselves, even if it means not killing others. Let's try and keep the conversation sensible, or I'll be forced to change the topic.

France haven't scored a goal in the finals since they won in 1998.

yeah, no going back on that one, unless he invents a super-mass-effect-mind-altering-ray-that-subtracts-memories ...
  9. *Pruned* by the Walrus.
  10. CARS: The only thing that bugged me at first was the absence of drivers/humans and I couldn't help but think "how'd they built cities without hands?" but once you get past that it's very decent. ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hee hee. 11. Yes, I figured that, but it affects my perception of them.
  12. There's robots in Chaos Theory?! I'm quite happy playing Europa Barbarorum, as Baktria. The new features, like seasonal systems and suppy lines are interesting and all the factions feel very personal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not what you're thinking; they're armed drones that have sensors and guns (and fly). Although robots would be good.
  13. It cannot be better than the original, because the original had Gregory Peck.
  14. Nice going jerk. Do you know what kind of security issues they are going to have now that you posted this on a public message board? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I especially got permission from and he said it was okay.
  15. I liek playing games.
  16. I think you'll find that six months is the maximum legally enforceable term, though (certainly in the UK it is, and I'd be very surprised if the USA was worse).
  17. I miss Kaftan's b&w pictures ... :'(
  18. The official wanted to get into your friend's pants. I think you should report him to social services.
  19. The first one bears less resemblance to the restrictions that corporeal life forms must adhere to.
  20. I try to do it silently, all the time, to everyone. But what's up with all the robots? Dang things can't be stealth-killed!
  21. Yeah, even though I quite liked Emmy Rossum in The Day After Tomorrow, I thought she was by far the weakest actor in this film. Not completely surprising, considering that Kurt and Richard helped bulk up the troop ...
  22. The verb is inferred, Calax.
