Duel of the Fates? 'nuff said.

Until the game is released I hope that we don't know any spoilers. Sure, if any were known it would be hard to avoid them. At least Obsidian are keeping a tight lid on the story. After its release, it would be up to the topic starter to warn us about spoilers. A spoiler forum will probably be available then, which I'd avoid like the plague until I finish the game.

Well, so far we've had lots of info but no real spoilers. That's OK by me. I think a game is far more enjoyable the less you know about it. Probably why Kotor was such a surprise to me. And if there are any genuine spoilers posted on this board (assuming SPOILER is in the subject line) I would avoid them!

In just over 3 months you'll have all the new info you need. By playing the game! People today have no patience.

Hard to tell from that angle, but I wouldn't judge Mira by the 'big lips' screenshot. She looked much better in the videos. It's very easy to find fault with a static image. In motion she's fine. btw, I always thought Bastila's hair-strand was kinda silly. You know, over her forehead. Was it glued in place or something? You see, it's easy to nitpick things like that.

8 for Kotor. I lean towards 9 but I can't overlook its flaws. Hopefully, Kotor2 will be a 10.

Do you have service pack 2 installed? I've heard that Kotor has a few problems with SP2. In fact, it might not work at all.

That is a classic case of 'artistic license'. The Star Forge only appears to be the same size as the sun. That is for our benefit as a viewer not for accurate scale.

yea, but I bet you'd have to redeem Yuthura for her to join you (kotor1). And, imo, she is far more interesting as a dark-side character. Same with Juhani.

Why does Yuthura Ban get all the attention? Is it because you can redeem her? I prefer Uthar Wynn. In fact, I liked him so much I took his side against that treacherous Twi'lek.

Yes, I think there should be more unique DS items, but not if they augment force powers. Dark-side consulars are already formidable - with items that boost their power they'd be unstoppable. DS consulars focus on offensive powers which more than compensate for low wisdom (if 18 can really be considered low). In addition, force focus makes those powers harder to resist. My DS consular had a much easier time on the Star Forge than LS (with 30 wisdom). Though to be fair, high wisdom will help you more against Malak but that's the only time you need it so high. PS: Dark side powers are amazingly cheap to use when you are fully DS. Add this to the consular's large pool of FP and it's obvious why they're so strong.

I knew nothing about Kotor when I bought it, except that it was a Star Wars RPG. I hadn't followed its progress or read the Bioware forums so everything was a surprise to me. Everything! I like surprises. If the next 3 months pass with NO new info I won't complain. In fact, I'll be happy. The info we've had so far has whet my appetite for Kotor2 without giving too much away. That's sufficient.

Force Wave was way overpowered. As was insanity and stasis field, and most other powers that affected multiple enemies. There's some cool new powers in Kotor2 so let's hope the ubiquitous force wave doesn't steal the show again.

hmm, those music samples are very impressive. He has a good range of styles too. Serene, dramatic, chanting... The latter reminds me of the Omen.

Water is more important than food, so let's not forget about dehydration in combat. I wouldn't want to face the sith lord without quenching my thirst. I might need a few snacks later but I couldn't fight Malak with my throat dry.

Why would you need subtitles? If you understand my message, surely you understand what happens in the Clone Wars cartoon?

episode 1 is the start of the Clone Wars... and episode 20 has General Grevious (SW: Episode 3 villain) and the Jedi who looks like Shaggy. Episode 20 is good. Forget the rest. They're much worse, and some are very silly and over the top. The one with Mace Windu is ridiculous.

GL doesn't write the Clone Wars, and I don't think it's very good, but some episodes are much better than others. The only episodes I liked are #1 and #20. You can download them here. http://spacestation.sytes.net/movie/ Bandwidth ain't too great - only 15k for me.
