Ha! You beat me to it, @Gfted1! Here's another article on the Paizo response to WotC: https://www.thegamer.com/pathfinder-publisher-paizo-system-neutral-open-rpg-license-dungeons-and-dragons/
-
Memo to any Obsidian person reading this thread: Please, please, please try to convince your Microsoft partner to buy out WotC from Hasbro.

Here's the most recent huge leak on the new OGL 1.1 document: https://gizmodo.com/dnd-wizards-of-the-coast-ogl-1-1-open-gaming-license-1849950634 https://knowyourmeme.com/news/dungeons-and-dragons-fans-furious-following-lengthy-leaks-of-ogl-11 It has caused a huge firestorm in gaming and D&D circles. And if you read through this article very carefully you'll see the new OGL is so very nakedly obviously targeting D&D competitors, and especially Paizo/Pathfinder, to try and shut them down. I fear this will end any possible future Pathfinder games, as well as any new content for Solasta.

I don't see any reason why studios keeping making deals with WotC. They are clearly untrustworthy partners. As recently as last month both Hidden Path and OtherSide released statements that WotC was very happy with their work on their D&D games. So these cancellations are obviously a money thing, in that Hasbro decided they would not make enough money for them. Hasbro stock is down 40%, and they're pulling back their investments to try and prop up their stock. An they're doing it by sticking the knife in the backs of their D&D video game contractors.

I was just now about to post this very article, as I found the story very interesting too!!

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 5
kanisatha replied to Gromnir's topic in Computer and Console
So yet another question about the crusade mode. How does experience work for the crusade army units? Each unit has an "experience" value number. However, even though I am winning army battles against demon armies, that experience number for each unit in my army does not change. My general gains experience points, but the units such as footmen and archers etc don't have their experience go up. And Google doesn't show any info re. army unit experience. Thanks! -

Ah ok. I'm in Act 2, and that third 30-day timer tower is not even there on my HUD banner yet. Only the 4-day and 10-day timers. -

Thanks! My understanding on taking forts was I needed to do one every ten days. So no quests or events on a timer? For example, -

Is any part of Act 2 timed? -

So I'm now finally at the beginning of Chapter 2 in this my first time through the game. Yeah, it's taken me this long to get through the Prologue and Chapter 1. I don't get much time per week to play my games, sadly. Any major pieces of advise on Crusade Management? I'm using the 'easy' setting but not 'auto' because I do want to be able to get the benefits of doing the crusade part of the game. Thanks in advance! :) -
For me, using Firefox, I've been getting certificate security alerts when trying to access the forum login page.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 5

No, no, what I mean is how can I keep a default action in that spot, but still override it and order the character to do something else during combat? I like my party starting out the first round spamming those auto mode actions, because they're often good debuffs of the enemies. But I want them to then stop doing that and start fighting. Is this somehow possible? -

A basic question for all you WotR experts: So in your character icon there is the option of setting certain cantrips or abilities to be used in "automatic mode." But when I set such things as Demoralize or Slumber or Daze (cantrip) to automatic mode, the character just keeps spamming that instead of engaging in melee or ranged attack, and they keep doing this even if I manually order the character to attack a target. What am I doing wrong here? How do I get them to override automatic mode and do what I order them to do? -

May I ask what is this trick? -
This is it for me too. Obviously I have no desire to deny anyone their preference to play in coop/MP. But I simply don't buy that a developer can make game design decisions that are simultaneously optimal for both SP and coop-MP. Many game design decisions are optimal for one or the other, and doing it optimally for one makes the other experience suffer. So I believe games (specifically RPGs) can be "good" only as either SP-only or MP-only games. And while a game made optimally for the SP experience can still offer a decent MP experience, I can't see it being that way in the other direction. So for me, SP games need to be SP-only by design if they're to offer a good SP experience.

Yup, it's strictly coffee, beer, tap water (no filtering), and non-artificially sweetened and no added sugar fruit juices for me.

Then how do you explain Marc Fogel? Also imprisoned for drug use at about the same time as Griner. But no one even knows about him (nor cares). Griner was persecuted not because she's a celebrity but because she's an American. But she certainly got her freedom, at great cost to past and future victims of Bout, entirely because she's a celebrity.
-
But they left Whelen behind, and he's been incarcerated unjustly for over four years. I guess being a celebrity is what matters first.
-
Yup. Bethesda, Bioware, CDPR, and now apparently Obsidian have all walked away from trying to do SP+co-op in favor of strictly SP RPGs. Only Larian is still stuck in their "co-op is awesome, who needs SP" mentality.

It's because many of these missiles are old nuclear-armed missiles from the Cold War, which were decommissioned after the end of the Cold War. So their nuke warheads were removed, and then the missiles placed in storage. Now, when those missiles are returned to operational use, there is no conventional warhead available that can be installed in them.
