Yes! This is exactly what I learned to do as well! The AI does a pretty decent job handling ranged characters, be they bows or spellcasting, but rather poorly with melee characters. I've done okay with my character being a duel-wielder too.

I got through one run of DA:I and I enjoyed it. The repetitious meaningless combat was definitely a pain, and why I doubt I'll ever replay it, but the parts of the game outside of combat including the story I liked quite a bit.

Biden has also caved and will now be sending Abrams to Ukraine. And apparently the US and NATO have now also agreed with Ukraine that in any spring offensive by Ukraine in the south it would be okay for Ukraine to go after Crimea, which until now had been a red line even for the West. And all the weapons being supplied are apparently to make it possible for Ukraine to shift to NATO operational strategy and tactics vis-a-vis high-intensity combined arms operations.

Unfortunately, at least until Turkey's elections later this year, Finland and Swededn will be blocked from joining NATO by Erdogan. He is trailing in the polls and will fully use "being tough" and standing firm" against Sweden and NATO as a way to prop up his support among certain voting blocs.

Looks like the Russians are very desperately trying to go on offense right now across the whole frontline to take as much territory as they can before all the new Western equipment shifts the battlefield in Ukraine's favor. Yeah at that recent summit on aid for Ukraine, more than 50 countries peldged to send military aid. So that is definitely more than just Western countries. The US is even pressuring Central and South American countries to send lethal aid.

Yeah the backlash against Germany has been quite severe. Let's see if Scholz continues to feel it is worth it. The US side has explained this, saying they don't have any opposition per se to giving Abrams but that training and maintenance support for Abrams would be too complex for Ukraine. German Leopards are much easier for Ukraine to absorb and handle.

Yup. Again, you beat me to posting this. And I too agree with the points being made. They are still trying to take away OGL 1.0a. And there was no attempt here by WotC to engage with the community. They tried to unilaterally do something awful. It was leaked. They got severely burned by the community. Now they're desperately trying to get people to believe this is how they always intended for things to happen. LOL

I believe it may be a new assessment within NATO that Ukraine has a very realistic chance at winning the war if they're appropriately supported.

And if you read through this article very carefully you'll see the new OGL is so very nakedly obviously targeting D&D competitors, and especially Paizo/Pathfinder, to try and shut them down. I fear this will end any possible future Pathfinder games, as well as any new content for Solasta.

I don't see any reason why studios keeping making deals with WotC. They are clearly untrustworthy partners. As recently as last month both Hidden Path and OtherSide released statements that WotC was very happy with their work on their D&D games. So these cancellations are obviously a money thing, in that Hasbro decided they would not make enough money for them. Hasbro stock is down 40%, and they're pulling back their investments to try and prop up their stock. An they're doing it by sticking the knife in the backs of their D&D video game contractors.

So yet another question about the crusade mode. How does experience work for the crusade army units? Each unit has an "experience" value number. However, even though I am winning army battles against demon armies, that experience number for each unit in my army does not change. My general gains experience points, but the units such as footmen and archers etc don't have their experience go up. And Google doesn't show any info re. army unit experience. Thanks!
