  1. Personally, I believe he ought to be dragged outside into the public, tied up against the pole with the Iraqi public watching the scene and executed by the firing squad. It'll definitely lighten up the anti-american sentiments in Iraq and prevent any future similiar happenings. Of course this method is 'barbaric' and the international/local human rights will start protesting for delivering such method but regardless, this method will be effective.
  2. I agree with him regarding of being tired of fantasy, but not necessarily restricted to only post-apocalyptic genre as a want. I personally want a supernatural setting similar to Call of Cthulhu or Alone in the Dark.
  3. Super Robot Taisen Original Generations for PS2 Its supposed to be out on January 25th, but got delayed! WAAAAAGH And Super Robot Taisen W for DS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2pTub4DAEg
  4. Elite Beat Agents and New Super Mario Bros are fun. Mario Kart if you could find three other people with the same game. Trauma Centre, a game that tries to be different from others. Metroid for FPS. Brain Age if you want to exercise your brain. or Super Robot Wars Original generation series....I know its a GBA game, and I'm shamelessly promoting the game.
  5. Might be refering to the game "Brothers in Arms". The AI in the first game is considerable dumb and predictable whilst the second game can be a little too overwhelming for some players due to the 'smarter' AI. Not many people seemed to notice that the AI in "The Punisher" game is quite 'smart' in a way. The enemies are observed to run away and take pop shots at the player at the corner of the wall, even intelligent enough to take cover, retreat further and take cover and shoot when the player approaches them. Though I think the The Punisher the player plays is somewhat godlike which results in unable to notice the AI's at work.
  6. Chrono Trigger has good ending(s). Chrono Cross has an exceptionally overly vague ending which I see it as a terribly bad ending like KOTOR2.
  7. I'm kinda of surprised this news hasn't reached to the NWNVault yet...which can be a good thing. Less pressure and all.
  8. I have a feeling these guys might get along very well with the Obsidian folks They got nice facilities as well and even their own motion capture facility and equipment. I wonder if Obsidian will use motion capture for Aliens?
  9. Bah, Oblivion got best RPG in Gamespot when its not even one. I mean, seriously its quite depressing to know that future RPGs will somehow follow Oblivion footsteps. Obsidian, you WON'T do that will you?
  10. Your forgot to click on the gigantic yellow envelope right at the bottom.
  11. http://www.gamespot.com/special_features/b...dex.html?page=5 I know it will eventually be merged with the NWN2 thread, but I think this subject needs attention regardless so I'll be an annoyance to the mods just this once
  12. Currently playing "Super Robot Wars: Original Generation 2" "Space Rangers 2"
  13. NWN2 Live Team Something I should be reaaaaaally excited or should I temper my out-of-control speculation for now?
  14. But the Torment rights and characters still belongs to Interplay yes? I only know that Obsidian purchased Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate 3 intellectual properties unless Torment is amongst the purchases. It'll be nice if we do encounter some Torment NPCs as Easter Eggs in future expansions. Imagine your stronghold involves setting up the Brothel of Slaying intellectual lust. But a wishful thinking in the end :'(
  15. I share the same wish as Sand's but I never seen such support before though, that is adding new storyline contents onto the existing game with a patch. Perhaps only the features like PRCs, spells or Feats. Might be possible with expansion though, modifying/adding the shard bearer campaign while adding the new intended stuffs for the expansion at the same time.
  16. Actually Meshhugger, the current direction the Berserk story is heading into involves heavily with magic. Might be a disappointment for some especially with the Arc Berserk story is heading into now. Following Mesh's footsteps, I'll be listing my favourite anime character as well Top left blonde dude: Reinhard von M
  17. I agree with Deraldin on his comments. Furthermore, I thought the right click as a method of targetting is quite useful (for me at the very least) since in my PW server, I'm quite notorious for friendly fire clicking in large battles. :"> Now all I need is to right click on the enemy and simply spam him with my quickslot abilities or spells. I just hope that there's a simpler and convenient way to quickslot feats and spells though compared to the current system where you have to go to your character's feat list and apply it. NWN does this quite well simply by right clicking on the quickslot box.
  18. My post from the "Fine wine" section from Bioware's forum. Also, mind sending a kudos from me to whoever had written the lores of the items in the game? Those were so fascinating to read.
  19. Pop, you tried watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes yet? I think this series is quite fitting for you if you want to break off from the current anime 'standards'. I'm sad that no one in this thread watched this series before . It is one of the classics that can be viewed as a well-done fictional history as its own. Character designs and hand drawn animation is done in great detail compared to today's digital standards in anime. Episode 1 of the series in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wePBwXWYVE8 Other recommended series: Title: The Irresponsible Captain Tylor Genre: Comedy, Space Opera, Drama Info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Irresponsible_Captain_Tylor Title: Turn A Gundam, Gundam: War in the Pocket Genre: War, Drama Title: Berserk (Manga's better in comparison) Genre: Fantasy, Medieval Info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berserk_%28manga%29
  20. Personally I find the weapon feat selection section list extremely messy. The interface simply lists down the entire feats for weapon focus, weapon specialization ect. For example: Weapon focus: Short sword Weapon focus: Greatsword Weapon focus: Mace Weapon focus... The list goes on. To me it makes the entire list feel very discomforting to look at as it gives you the impression of being overwhelmed. The list even gets longer when you select exotic weapons feat or when you have access to improved critical feat, weapon specialization feat ect. They should had used NWN's method of using sub categories instead. Displaying 'Weapon focus' feat as its own and upon selecting it then would you be asked to choose specifically which weapon would you like to apply the feat on. Currently, despite the feats being neatly categorised (Class feats, combat feats ect) I feel it could be improved on in terms of organization and tidiness.
  21. So there is 'the third' key. :"> Managed to solve the quest finally, I didn't know there is a third key involved. Thanks alot everyone.
  22. Title: Legend of the Galactic Heroes Genre: Epic, Science-Fiction, Drama, military No of eps.: 110 TV eps, 2 movies, 55 OVA eps One of the longest anime series ever. Fantastic show nonetheless. Its not your typical cutesy anime as the story is geared towards adults with political intrigued and military tactics. The title is known as "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" if translated accurately from its original Japanese title. It has yet to see any form of release or licensed in the States though you could get it via torrents. This is an epic Science fiction show based on a Japanese award winning novel in the 1980s. Here is an excerpt of what the show is about: The story of two mighty space empires is told from the viewpoint of two 'heroes': Rheinhardt Von Museal, Admiral of the Galactic Empire, and Yang Wenli, Admiral from the Alliance of Free Planets. Both men are military and tactical geniuses and are born survivors. The ambitious Rheinhart has the goal of getting enough power to be able to free his sister from her obligation as one of the Emperor's Court ladies. He is fairly ruthless in this which is tempered only by his aide: Siegfried Kircheis. Yang is a pacifistic man who, when necessary, will do his duty even if it means fighting against an enemy fleet (since he is a *soldier*, after all). The drama between these 2 men is played out against a backdrop of great space battles, inept commanders, frightened soldiers, personal relationships, corrupt politicians and the workings of two space empires at war with each other. This is a space opera on a very grand scale. Note that there is a very heavy Prussian influence on the series, especially present in the Imperial uniforms... 23. Currently watching 110 episodes anime: The Legend of the Galactic Heroes Currently at episode 65...ugh....can't stop watching. Too captivating. http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,644,uin...d_of_the_g.html
  24. By the way, is anyone else suffering from a possible memory leak in NWN2? After playing some time, I seem to suffer frame rate slow downs in the game. The slow down can be temporarily rectified if you Alt-Tab back to windows and jumping back into the game. Another way would be quicksaving the game but these solutions are merely temporary. I'm curious if anyone else is suffering the same problem as I am?
  25. Yep, I got the code correctly as well as managed to get the key from the fire. Once using both keys, the door still prompted me to unlock it. Usually it offers 3 options: 1. Use Silver key 2. Enter combination 3. Leave it alone But in this case it only offered "Leave it alone" as its only sole choice which results me in unable to continue the quest. Thanks for the help regardless.
