What's your specs Roshan? Could help to troubleshoot from there. I never suffered anything as you had posted, so its quite likely a video card issue.

Writers Guild to honor gaming scribes
Doesn't hurt if Obsidian just get a runner up title, it does help to spread Obsidian's name.

Writers Guild to honor gaming scribes
I think its a good chance for Obsidian yes? http://www.gamespot.com/news/6180375.html?...estnews;title;2 We could start with George Ziet's and Kevin Saunder's dynamic duo MotB as a start.

Mask of the Betrayer
The game was relatively difficult for my Fighter/Weapon Master build where it seems my PC always died in difficult encounters. Eventually its the crafting armor and weapons with the essences that saved my epic butt.

Mask of the Betrayer
Game with the best story and RPG award for 2007, its decided to be Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer for me. My answer is firm this time than the wavering one I had for NWN2! It HAD been so long since I played a well-done RPG. Though MotB retains some flaws due to engine design inheritated from NWN2 , they managed to correct those I had been very mindful of (Namely implementing of resting system). Immersive story, characters I am able to grow attached with, dark and personal story. Check check check. But again I don't think there has been notable releases for PC RPG games this year aside from MotB, so I guess MoTB is an instant winner for me in the RPG genre. *Makes room for George Ziets new worshipping altar just next to MCA's* BTW, I wonder if anyone found the item "Astral Rodent Charm"? Read up the description and you will realise its a blatant references to one character in BG2

Mask of the Betrayer
According to Anthony's post in RPGCodex, Obsidian's newly installed position of Audio Director and Art Director improved the quality of MotB by lots lots. Nice! Now if only Obsidian has its own In-House cinematic team like Massive entertainment. An example of Massive's jaw dropping trailer for WiC :

A recent Chris Avellone interview.
I think he's being too harsh on himself on the other hand.

Happy Birthday Chris Avellone!

A recent Chris Avellone interview.
For KOTOR2, especially if one considers that the development time is barely a year. 3 months is ALOT of time to waste.

Mask of the Betrayer
You know... Obsidian could implement hard-core mode that players can access upon completing the game? Most games uses such system nowadays that increases the level of replayability and satisfy the masochists.

World in Conflict
So I'm wondering if you folks might be interested in forming an Obsidian forum user clan? Its easily doable and organized through the multiplayer system WiC provides. Reminds me alot of Steam really. If any of you are playing the game, add me "Song" in your friend list! We'll catch a game or two together then.

World in Conflict
World in Conflict. Wow. Its my first time I actually got addicted to RTS games, something which I really suck at. Multiplayer is actually very well implemented and balanced, especially when it comes to 16 player games. Those people who loath building and intricating economy, rest assure there is none at all in WiC. The players virtually has unlimited resources at their disposal though it is capped at a certain number, meaning you can only build xxx numbers of unit depending on their xxx costs. If your units die, the costs for building the unit will be recycled back into your resource pool. There is no need to build buildings to summon units, they will just be simply air dropped in your team's dropzone points. This means when the game starts, INSTANT ACTION instead of bloody building buildings in A - B - C order! This economy system + 8v8 multiplayer system + ranking system + Teamwork gameplay = WINNAH! I could explain more but it'll only make people confused with my long windedness. I would simply suggest you download the demo now.

Wow. Looks like NMA is more than a cult classic group. These are what I call hardcores.

Mask of the Betrayer
I'm surprised the suckers for romances have yet to asked these questions: -How are the romance plots executed in MotB compared to NWN2? -Romanceable characters are still limited to two? (Safiya and Galynn according to the Devs months ago) -What about the characters you romanced in NWN2? How will it affect with this new batch of romanceable characters in terms of character development and its consistencies? Will it assume you did not romance them like how MotB assumes you killed KoS regardless of alignment?
