Wow. I actually managed to bond with strangers from Australia just by playing expert mode on Blood Harvest. This game can be an incredible medium to create friendships from total strangers if all the parties share the same like-minded goals of how a cooperative game is to be played. Sadly, such people are rare, most others are just 1337 gamers

Chill pills. You're way overdue for the subscription. Chill. To be fair, bug reports is best to be delivered to NWN2 forums at Bioware since its Rob who compiles the bug list. This thread is simply background noise as far as we know. In addition, I don't think J.E is involved in any part of NWN2 development any longer aside from giving feedbacks on the game during his spare time. So demanding answers or solutions from him is futile. All he can do is simply deliver the message to Rob, but it should be done in NWN2 technical forum instead for easier compilation.

I actualy got a boner watching the vid. And geezues, look at MCA. He seems like he lost ALOT of weight and look so much older. The stress from AP seems to get him completely. And why is the interview taken in a creepy atmosphere? Seems to be way off for promoting a spy genre game.

There's a new finding in Valve's forums, but yet to be proven, that the tank's weakness is its legs. I tried attacking the legs of the tank instead from now on and it seems the tank goes down MUCH faster. Maybe someone could help testing it in a Versus environment?

Found a cool easter egg reference to a particular movie quote when your team's health condition is terrible. Zoey: "GAME OVER MAN! GAME OVER!" Haha, awesome.

Managed to beat No Mercy on expert. ^.^ Such awesome team was so hard to come by. I hope to never fight 3 tanks again in one chapter. Its ridiculously INSANE!

L4D in ten minutes. HURRY! HURRY! HURRY!

Ditto. The so many ways a character can die in a gruesome deaths is pretty much incredible and on par with EA's Crusader series. It was so amazing and details for its time, for graphically and the animations it has. As for the vote, Fallout 1 for me though I really really hate the day limit restriction imposed as part of the gameplay. It does help to maintain a sharp focus though on the player's objective unlike Fallout 2. The writing and C&C choices in Fallout 1 is far more better in terms of execution and originality. I agreed with an observation back then that Fallout 2 depends too heavily on pop culture reference to feel to be completely immersed. As for Fallout 3? Seeing that the game is always being constantly compared with Oblivion rather than the 2 prequels as well as being claimed by some people its a comparison between apples and oranges, I feel Fallout 3 does not even deserved to be compared with the first 2 at all since its no longer the Fallout I know.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir Discussion

Storm of Zehir is only out by the end of this month in my country Dilema dilema. King's Bounty or SoZ? Sad panda -
Being a chinese myself, the conception of Asians being stereotyped as having small and slitty eyes with angular chin and high cheek bones amuses me. Jade Empire, Disney's Mulan. Eye rollz for lulz. Amusingly, I even failed to get half of the quiz from the link HK provided correct. I have difficulty judging nationality solely from pics since I tend to observe an asian based on the attire down to the ascent they use to speak to make an accurate guess. HK got it right. Its what most Japanese finds the definition of a female attractive. The picture of photoshopped Faith is from 2Chan forum, so its safe to assume its a Japanese artist. On the contrary to the West which seems to prefer well defined sharp features, Asians prefer females with big expressive eyes and round features for the face. Hence the character designs of Final Fantasy VIII and beyond. Hence the typical big eyed anime girls. Of course the boob size preference is subjective amongst Asians. Some love cow sized knockers while people like me is happy with the default Faith sized boobs.

Now that's a complaint I can support. She's asian. It would be very very akward. I'm pretty sure that if the lead designer for the game was a japanese, he would share the same sentiments as you folks and she would be adjusted turn out to look like this:

Limitless ammo? You got to be kidding. My team (consisting of random pubbers) spent many countless rounds unable to complete the subway stage in expert mode, mainly due extreme ammo shortage. We could easily backtrack to the nearest ammo cache, but that would mean encountering another combo of special bosses or a possible horde during the way which is not worth it. Considering the enemies are unlimited, we are damn thankful there is at least a supply of ammo to or replenish our combat strength a little on top of the injuries. Unfortunately, the real issue is health packs and pills that is limited. Do understand that the concept of survival horror for L4D is not anything remotely close to Resident Evil style, but rather the old school Doom style where you battle against hordes of enemies with respawns. I can see why some people will not like this sort of gameplay, so I still encourage those who have yet to play to simply download the demo and judge for it yourself.

GoW for PC has a ****ty multiplayer support. Don't ever get games that uses Windows live to play unless you are willing to be Microsoft's guinea pig. Unlike Valve who continues working the once buggy steam off their ass into a wonder of the present, Microsoft and Epic games are content enough to blame the lack of sales to piracy instead of a crap**** multiplayer system they implemented.

Japanese is are taking over your bases! With Sega, Squareenix and Namco, they form the Game Axis! Seriously, it seems they aren't kidding when the Japanese said they wanted to expand their market in the West. Apparently, despite the hardcore gamers in Japan, its never enough to fill up their coffers.

Well there was this whole "fun" thing but that's just me... And me too. I suppose its always a challenge to make a group of 4 people to work together and survive instead of busy killing each other accidentally. You will be surprised how many times you died is due to careless friendly fire. There's the versus mode as well where 4 additional players will play as special zombies to make the survivor's life difficult If anything else, the updated version of source engine for Left 4 Dead is absolutely stunning: -Incredible animations as well as incredibly 'realistic' death physics. The enemies don't die like ragdolls. Shoot any portion of the enemy, they will react to the injury accordingly. -Incredible high resolution textures surpassing even Ep2's. I never thought I be able to see the source engine succeeding in this area. -Dynamic lightning and shadows. Morgoth covered that. -Supports dozens of high polygon characters that can appear in one screen. The only gripes I have is the limitation of the level size still imposed as well as the things that are breakable in the game.

Man, this reeks great potential to make a Starship Trooper mod or even Aliens. Gearbox has a serious competitor for its Coop mode for its Aliens game. So its single player is best not to be a half-arse game.

We need Gun-kata skill feat for Mike's level 10 pistol and melee skill.

Guyz. You gotta play on expert, for realz. Advance mode itself is for nubs. Normal and beginner modes? Psssht, they iz for grandmas and 'pas yet I bet they will think its too chicken easy.

Hurry up demo release. I'm getting tired of playing with retarded AIs. Even though they are incapable of committing friendly fire, they are so capable of running into the line of my fire. Ugh. Another beef of mine is that there are lack of variety of weapons in the game. Its simply a 2 tier weapon system instead of each with their own weakness and strengths. What about sawed off shotguns? Improvised home made weapons like making a flamethrower with a spray can? Would be nice if the gasoline tanks in the game can be used to pour flammable liquid on the floor to set a trap rather than just shooting it to work. The game can be so much more. But I credit the game for being one bloody polished product with incredible animations and graphics that a source engine could provide. Awesome game nonetheless. Hurry up!

What's your opinion on Alpha Protocol?
Zoma replied to pcrk2's topic in Alpha Protocol: General Discussion
Personally, I kind of think that Spy genre at this age isn't exactly a good timing despite the novelty. Fallout for instance was released at the exactly right moment where everyone's curiosity was in the possibilities of an apocalyptic world which piqued many people's interest. So unfortunately, Alpha Protocol doesn't really pique much interest in me due to what I think is probably being released at a wrong time. At the present I think, everyone's curiosity still remains at Sci-Fi, Utopian worlds or pre-apocalyptic setting. Hence Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo's setting captures many people's interest. I wonder why Obsidian doesn't work on a super hero setting though. It seems that comic heroes are finding novelty at the present age, both in comics and in cinemas. Why not games? 2 cents. Take my hunch with sacks of salt. -
Managed to finally download the demo, but its Russian >.< (Don't ask). The game is fun. No kidding. Serious. This may even set off the baseline genre of how Coop games ought to be made. Unlike many coop games, Rainbow Six Vegas for instance, no same game will always be the same for Left4Dead thanks in due to the Director's Mode in action. So what does director's mode actually do? Firstly, it randomise the placing of items across the levels. One game you may find painkillers or pipe bombs behind the wardrobe, the next it might be an extra hand gun, a deskful of powerful weapons or if simply nothing. The same goes to the enemy placements and triggering of the horde. Unfortunately my demo is only capable of playing single player mode but I can imagine that in a multiplayer, it will be just simply pure awesome.

I think its safe to assume that its as much customisable as what GTA: San Andreas allows to customise the character. Like hair cuts, sporting a beard, wearing the different clothes and accessories like glasses ect. Minus the body building stuff though.

But that's for XBox360 right? I've only got PC here.
