  1. Can you play against other human opponents? I remember Herve saying something about focussing on the Massive Multiplayer Online gaming market
  2. Just finished Tombraider: Legend. Thinking about whether or not to start replaying those levels where I didn't find all the secrets... pathetic, I know
  3. I didn't read the entire review, but the guy seems to complain about it being a crpg instead of an action game or what ?!?" I think he might have compared it to Doom3 or Diablo or something.
  4. Either "The Adventures of Princess Kreia" or "Attack of the Crones" :D Of the two on the list, I had more fun with Kotor2.
  5. Yay, custom animations :D So, once done with this project, are you guys going to do more addons, like traditional mods and extra levels and stuff?... :)"
  6. They were in BG2. Which "They" ? I think the ones in BG2 $were Githyanki, whereas Dak'kon (Gothzerai) appeared in PS:T
  7. Does the use of the "Anti Mutagen" (Correct Name?) on a Super Mutant count as drug use :-" I didn't believe my eyes when I got addicted to Tragic the Garnering >_
  8. Next three monthly patches... Hey Lucasarts! Are you taking notes?!?
  9. Tombraider Legends. And no, I'm not going to buy NWN2 until I finish that one. Way too linear and too short (already at 50%), but otherwise great fun. It actually made an old raider happy for a while
  10. Yes, this is a thread to rant about the missing dial to adjust the boob size on female avatars. It seems to be of ultimate importance for young male players.
  11. If Obsidian has no problem with me working on it as a unsupported personal project (basically like anyone's personal NWN/NWN2 project), I don't think anyone's rights are violated. Somebody is bound to misquote that, or deliberately misinterpret it But otherwise, just to show a bit of enthusiasm (w00t) I don't think you would hear a lot of complaint about doing it. Although you would probably get a lot of whining from people who expected all their unfilled desires to come true when/if finally getting their hands on it Edit: Implicit, that expectations for some reason keep growing ower time until they reach impossible proportions
  12. It would be awesome. Unfortunately, owning the assets doesn't necessaily equal the rights to "use" them if it infringes on other trademarks, like names, settings etc. Wans't that part of the bloody mess that Interplay ended up in, with the license struggle with Atari (ironically, Atari together with Interplay being the ones who killed Jefferson) ?
  13. Just put it in all major public water supplies all the world. Watch the love spread
  14. The many are just the many. They are unimportant. It is important to those who cares and loves the Fallout games
  15. Heh, time lines. You try date lines... It's always fun travelling between Auckland and Los Angeles. You leave Auckland around 18:00 and arrive in L.A at somewhere around 16:00 the same day
  16. Wow, old stuff... *Pufff...* (blowing away cobwebs)
  17. Excellent idea. Funny to see so many different styles and takes on the subject
  18. That "Silent Hill" game didn't look too bad, nor did the "Fatal Frame" one. Never heard about the last one before. I haven't found a game since "Forbidden Forest", that could make me jump in my seat though (and that game is 22 years old)
  19. Gorth

    game story

Is it still trying to sell that mud thing ?
  20. If they are going to do voiceovers for everything, I hope they hire more than 3 male and 3 female voice actors Ok, so I didn't complete the Oblivion, but the repetitions were obvious, even after a few nights of gaming. No bonus points for the sound part of the game.
  21. I think this is what democracy and market economy is all about... :)"
  22. We can always hope. Unfortunately, I admire their business skills more than their writing skills
  23. I'm not sure I would use Fallout and Kotor in the same sentence :D They are very different types of dialogue and I much prefer the Fallout one. I'm a Fallout fan, just not one of the militants
  24. I borrowed a colleagues Oblivion for about a week and gave it a try. Played as a woodelf assassin, doing quite a few of the DB quests. The quests themselves werent so bad, but the general bad writing and atrocious dialogue of the game quickly killed any joy I might have gotten from it. Nice gfx, bad music, impressive size, unfortunately filled with nothing Gave the game back to my colleague and thanked him for saving me 45 Australian dollars (it's already half it's original retail price). Poor, poor Fallout, what is going to happen to you...
  25. Huge? ROFL Sorry, but that was really stupid answer to the starting post I'm solving similar problem atm - both KotOR and KotOR 2 are screwed when the in-game fmv ends in my PC - I have to disable movies to be able to play these games. Oh and I hate that insane feature to turn monitor resolution down to prehistoric 640x480 for movie playback... She's on a 56k dial up. That is a freaking huge download for people on dial up. When you run across stupid replies like that (sevencreature's), just add them to your ignore list or report them for trolling. Personal insults are not called for when people try to be helpful. Agree or disagree and leave it at that. I wouldn't be surprised if he is related to the original poster
