  1. Hades/Killian/Sand/Visceris etc. ... wherever you are, your timing sucks. That he should miss out on this. Only thing that stops me from clapping my hands now is the Steam thing
  2. You guys haven't really lived yet
  3. My favourite is the Vindaloo. Doesn't have to be superhot, hot will do
  4. Conan the Barbarian Just because somebody mentioned Basil Poledouris not that long ago. All cheese and good fun
  5. Really?! That's what your first post is going to be?! Actually, its a carbon copy of two previous posts made on myspace and the Bioware forums.
  6. Under the right circumstances you can get "The Perfect Blight"! Saw that Gamersgate have preorders for a "complete" Dragon Age (origins + awakening + most of the dlc). Was tempted mostly for Awakening. Then I remembered the guy with the "Buy me" neon sign over his head in my camp and decided against it. Still keeping an eye on DA2 previews etc. as you never know, a pleasant surprise might pop up some day. I would have sworn I wouldn't touch ME2 after ME, so my mind isn't set in stone about it. They are currently not doing a good job of it however
  7. Nice I wish somebody would do games that does justtice to Operation Zitadelle or The Manchurian Strategic Offensive Operation some day
  8. If Spider is anything to go by, then Swedish males are in general metrosexuals
  9. Heh, when I first saw Starcraft way back, my first thoughts were something like "They've got Space Marines, Eldar and Tyranids, now where are the Orks?" (I was playing Epic40k Orks at the time).
  10. Fffiohbies? uh uh... nuhh mnfjobies ere...
  11. I have a calendar that shows the moons phases on my desktop >_
  12. A day in your office consists of being eaten by a pelican? How do I apply? Been there, done that, although it wasn't in the office. Still while at work though >_ Working on a project inland, we (a colleague and I) were taking a quick lunch break down at the river, bringing some junk food. We noticed this pair of pelicans begging food scraps from the guys sitting on the bench next to ours and when they left, this pelican duo moved to our bench. Thinking Ah, what the heck? We found it somewhat amusing tossing french fries at the stupid birds, watching those otherwise ungainly creatures snatch them out of the air. Always being too curious for my own good, I wondered if I could hand feed them. Tentatively holding out my hand with a dangling frie... *Clomp* Tried to tear off my arm at the elbow Well, it didn't really tear it off, but the darned things (pelican beaks) are sharp and jagged, like serrated blades and the soft skin of my lower arm was no match for it. Took almost 24 hours before it stopped bleeding completely. Didn't hold a grudge though, gave them the rest of my fries before getting some cloth wrapped around my arm. Since then, I've had my suspicions about the ravenous nature of pelicans
  13. Bah, everybody knows
  14. ...and there are you'll be cursing and swearing at, because they just don't want to leave your brain alone again afterwards Some nostalgia... Awesome remix of c64 classic For pc games, few hold a more special place than (title theme)
  15. Thread getting a bit long... while waiting for releases more Fallout here
  16. Start of old thread End of old thread Somebody needs to put more skill points in Outdoorsman
  17. Moved to different section, as it looks more like a question about how to get into the games industry. Nice miniatures
  18. This I've got BF1942 + Road to Rome and BF Vietnam. The first one is just more fun. Tried my little brothers Battlefield 2 a few times when visiting, but modern combat just never appealed to me (i.e. not fun). Haven't tried 2142 or 1943.
  19. If nobody had mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed it. But yeah, she might be hovering a bit...
  20. And Ribsmasher... plenty of ribs left that needs smashing Continuing my EUIII game. All the silly Luxemburg heirs have kicket the bucket and Brandenburgian nobility is next in line to inherit the throne of Brandenburg. Of course I get stuck with Europes longest serving monarh (40+ years as king now)
  21. That doesn't exactly make anybody stand out in a crowd in these quarters More commenting on posts and points, less on posters (in general)?
  22. You could argue that no longer pausing while accessing the inventory in BG2 was a "dumbing down" of combat Edit: It could of course also be that I played BG2 first and therefore died constantly when trying to rearm my archers during combat...
  23. Weren't the tweaks fro ME1 to ME2 similar in style to the tweaks done from BG1 to BG2? I.e. less filler maps with one or two random, inconsequential encounter and more significant locations. BG1 might have covered more square meters of map, but the content felt less than the stuff you had to do in the more focused maps of BG2 (usual disclaimer: I've only tried xbox360 ME1 for 30 minutes, half of which was the bad 3d moon buggy game). Edit: Which is sort of a scary thought really, as ME3 would be the ToB equivalent then.
  24. Starting a new game of Europa Universalis III (with all expansions). This time playing Brandenburg, aiming for German reunification, Holy Roman Emperor and general world domination. Not a lot to do in the beginning, being in a personal union with Luxemburg. So, I just tweak my sliders slowly away from decentralisation and serfdom, adding a new unit when I can afford it and plan on which german state shall be liberated first when Jobst I of Luxemburg pulls a Norwegian Blue.
