SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
A couple of patches late though... from patch notes 2.9: •Nefra, Who Bars The Way has a new “Frustrated Howl” ability, and now deals damage to all players participating in her Dread Fortress encounter if she reaches 80% health and is unable to reach a target. I.e. rather than trying to prevent people from getting Nefra stuck, they made it a suicide move trying to do so.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Explain this to me. Explain this to me. They tried to fix it so many times and failed (its a very old bug). Last patch they had a fix too in the patch notes. It's exploiting a bug that means you can 3 man 16m NiM (any mode actually) Nefra without breaking a sweat, just a bit of patience, wait for him to die and scoop up the loot drops. No skill required. As said, probably old fashioned, but i would like to know when I clear HM (for now) content, it's because I've acquired the skill to do so.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
(insert hysterical laughter here) Yeah, there really are some atrociously bad personalities (not even talking skill, just attitude) amongst the pug crowds. Quit the guild that my main characters were members of for a while. Call me old fashioned, but when the People I was supposed to run HM Ops with spend more time farming the NiM Nefra exploit and become way overgeared (not talking about trying it once or twice to satisfy curiosity, but farming it weekly on all their alts) rather than actually getting better at playing the game, you know you have a Problem. time to cut losses and see if it's possible to find people who prefer to learn and progress at the same time.

Crikey! Are you guys still here?!?!
Just wondering how fast we can push through the moderator replacement program without it being too obvious that the ultimate goal is an all danish mod squad

The last physical game you ever bought
I *think* bought a handful of games from a discount shelf, 3 old games of questionable quality (and never installed) for $10. "Real" purchase was... NWN2 Deluxe Edition (with maps, rings etc.), The Witcher (big box Edition with art books etc.) or Fallout 3 (for like $15 with all DLC's included). Cant really remember which one was last. Probably not NWN2. Edit: Yeah, I think NWN2 is somewhat older, got it somewhere around the same time i got STALKER (SoC) I think (the version with metal lunchbox and other goodies)

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Don't get me started on what Bioware did with Kreia... that was beyond embarrassing. I would recommend that writer to start writing under a pseudonym Right... I remember reading something about that buff on Makeb. Sort of a Bolster "Light Version". I guess i should finish it at least once on Republic side. Edit: Since I enjoy playing healer on my operative, I started levelling up a sage and a sorcerer, both healers. The latter aptly named 'Malpractise'. I got the Rakghoul Event currency to get him the Diseased Varactyl (or was that infected?) next time the event comes around

What you did today.
I didnt check the one bedroom apartments to be honest, but something that is large enough for the container full furniture on its way, monthly rent is about 1200-1500 Euros depending on suburb.

What you did today.
Heh, I'm still technically homeless. Finding an Apartment or a townhouse in Berlin is harder by a Magnitude than in Australia. Biggest obstacle is not having a history (which you don't have for obvious reasons after 4 weeks in a new country). Ah well, some day I'll get a roof over my head and not live in the hotel special offer the day/week.

Mouse Recommendations
Had one of those for a number of years. Not 100% sure if it's the exact same model, but it Looks the same (was a Microsoft IntelliMouse according to the label on the backside) and had 5 Buttons. Best mouse I've ever had since starting to use a mouse on my Amiga 500 in the late 80's. Edit: My current Steelseries Sensei is nice too, but I will always remember that old MS Mouse fondly.

Torment: Tides of Numenera
Just speculating, but maybe they have been burnt once too many by projects suffering from feature creep and deadlines being a "nice concept" rather than something to strive for?

CZ doesn't really have much in the way of Story. An intro dialogue and a debriefing after the Titans of Industry mission (which is just doing the 2 flashpoints, labs and meltdown one after the other). Have you done Makeb? It was mildly interesting the first time, but subsequent toons was just boring because it's the same story for all classes, only the factions are different. Several of my imperial toons have only done "enough" (the first little bit) to unlock the taxi to the mesa with Toborros Courtyard (on Republic side it's immediately accessible). Edit: Come to think of it, I haven't actually bothered finishing it yet on any Republic toons. The high mob density and immediate grind just turned me off at the time of release.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Mind you, i don't really follow the EU stuff other than the in-game references. I read three of the paperback books many years ago, found them a bit too silly, only one I liked was a blue skinned guy Name Thrawn or some such. After one about some species that sounded like a Monty Python skit, Neowumpingzooo.... (the Knights who formerly said Ni!) or some such, I dropped it. I doubt I'm the only one, hence the desire for something "recognizable"

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
I've been lurking a bit on the swtor forums the last couple of days, seeing the rumours and guesswork about what 3.0 is about. First off, I really hope the "Boss" at the end of the Rakata flashpoint is just a bad deflection on Biowares side. Some things are best left buried or risk getting silly. Come to think of it, where did Guss Tuno go? He always dreamt of being able to actually use that lightsaber of his As to the speculations based on previous CM releases and the emails sent out during and after the Manaan/Rakata fp pairs, people seem to be obsessed with a place called Yavin IV (I might remember the numeral wrong). Why??? No idea what the place is, it figured all of 15 seconds or so in Kotor1 as a distant Background on a space station, no game play actually took place there. Crossing fingers and hoping for something like DXun instead, if it has to be a moon involving the people vaguely referenced.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
My Nar Shaddaa place is starting to shape up a bit. Haven't had much time to Play (any game at all) the last month. A bit proud of resisting the urge to just reach the 100% completion asap. Not even halfway there, trying to put a bit of effort into it and not just fill all hooks with kolto Barrels and wall lamps. Started to gear up my new Level 55 marauder girl a bit. That is, currently wearing a bunch of Hand me downs from my dps jugg and some won greed rolls from hardmode flashpoints. Earning her own ultimate coms now though. On the other faction side, my smuggler, aptly named 'Gorth' is halfway through Level 54 and approaching 55 fast. Not putting too much effort into the gearing anymore though, holding my breath and see if the rumours of Level cap increases are true. If so, will that mean yet another gear Inflation (last one not even 6 months old or so)?

What are you playing now?
Trying my hand a bit on Risen 2 and Skyrim.

Scottish Independence?
So, are the English planning to secede from the Union next?
-
Scottish Independence?
It sort of works that way in Australia. It's effectively made up of a number of City states with a large percentage of the population living in those state capitals. Of course, the people of Cornwall are going to be mortally offended that you left them out Edit: I took a look at Gromnirs link regarding DNA mapping of the People in the UK. Interesting reading

Scottish Independence?
The Anglo Saxons were replaced by the French. Later mixed with immigrants from the days of Empire (Indians, Africans, Scots, Irish etc.). The monarchy is German. I don't think such a thing as an "Englishman" really exists outside of fairytales and romance literature.

BGEE: Indira Lightfoot and Her Bad Band
I've only completed the game thrice or so, but I always got mauled badly by Greywolf In the end, I decided some emeralds are just too hard earned

BGEE: Indira Lightfoot and Her Bad Band
I don't think it's an exact science Personal theory, it's like a rock band or a sports team that for a short while get together and create something where the total is greater than the sum of its parts. Nobody can really explain while it is so and attempts at recreating it always ends up at attempts at recreating it. Maybe it's just the right People in the right place at the right time doing the right things. I think you just answered your own question. There are probably some less known games out there that does, but none spring to mind immediately.
