  1. I don't mind getting the disc later. I really don't. I would even say it's completely irrelevant to me. I mean it. believe me.
  2. I don't mind the character model but I don't get why it has to cover 50% of the screen for the entire character creation AND the level up part. They should only bring the model when you have to customize it and for the level up segment, they should use the portrait only. Use the space left for descriptions, icons, stats etc.
  3. Yes the hobbled effect is really bad. It should be place around their feets or around the green circle. I think it was a bug but I saw it in a video where the hobble effect is at their feet and it look really good and none obtrucive. you can see it by yourself in this video: at 32:11 min, the character on the left got the hobble effect at their feet.
  4. After I read comments, this one then. since most of the time we will be clicking on our portraits and asign actions, it should be in the middle.
  5. what you guys think about this one ? when you click on a unit, spells and options are in the middle of the screen.
  6. engagement should be a select unit ability for fighters and barbarians.
  7. No I play on a 30 inch monitor. at max zoom in, the characters are smaller than the IE games.
  8. Hello, I play the game in 2560x1600. Will it be possible to zoom closer later ? I would really like to zoom closer by still playing at 2560x1600.
  9. If you use Essential phantom spell, it won't go out of combat mode until it's gone. Even if all ennemi are dead.
  10. Here the way I would like to see it for every classes. Level 1 Select a martial art background. Select a level 1 class ability from a small pool. Level 2 Select a level 1 class ability from the same pool. Level 3 Select a Talent. Level 4 Select a level 2 class ability from a pool. ( level 1 abilites are no more accessible) Level 5 Select a level 2 class ability. Level 6 Select a talent. ... In every ability pool there's some passive/active offensive/defensive abilities. It give the possibilty for a low maintenance character and some defensive/offensive directions. Talents are general but strong advantages that reinforce even more the direction you want to give to your character.

  12. 1) Is it normal I can't see how much dmg it do? 2) What ranged accuracy have to do on a sword? suggestion: instead of +8 melee accuracy + 8 ranged accuracy, what about simply + 8 accuracy.
  13. Yeah, the angle view is fine for me. I wish I could zoom in more. I play at 2560x1600, I can't really zoom in close at all.
  14. Hey Gkathellar, why do you compare multi-classes to single classes unit? Necessarily, a multi classe character, who take 2-3 times more xp to level up, will be better than a single class character.

Balance ( in term of viability) make sens in a 1 character game like diablo but in a CRPG like baldur's gate the balance is as a whole from the 6 party member, where each classes have different, distinct abililies, strengh and weakness but each being efficient in their roles. I don't care if they are viable by themselve the moment they bring something special and unique to the group.
  16. I hope they will implant a animation when we hit a sneak attack. Like a little slash animation. I always wonder if my rogue getting some sneak attack hit.
