Mod squad loses a bod.
In all honesty I think it's a pity Shadowstrider is not a moderator any longer, because despite one or two disagreements I believe he did a good job. Of course, I can't quite tell wheter he's actually happy or not with his loss of moderator status.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, although I am not sure of being the right person for the job. Not because I wouldn't be able to moderate, but I don't know how exactly I'd fit Obsidian's criteria. Oh, and I listen. I can't promise I'll care, but I listen- Your Favorite Food?

We can never get enough of snuffing friends. I should be a mod. It would be like 1984, except instead of Big Brother I'd be Numbers Man. Ha ha.- Recommend a game.

You don't seem to understand what was in my post. This is why I've said: Because alignment, being a character's morality should influence his decisions. Of course a character's choices shouldn't be exclusively restricted to his or her alignment, one of the reasons being that any sense of free will would be severely limited. That's why I said characters should react according to their alignment more often, not always; and said they should be given more options based on alignment rather than generic good, evil or neutral choices, not that all choices which go against their alignment should be removed. Thanks for playing.- Yet another NWN2 Interview - Teh Protagonist!
Example? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like party NPCs noticing your alignment and reacting accordingly. This can be a simple reaction based on a static alignment, or a dynamic reaction based on a character's alignment changes. Ideally, it should be a combination of both alignment and the PC's actions. Another example would be to try and firmly establish the notion that an alignment is more than just a title - and is actually the character's morality - by making the character react according to his alignment more often. Someone who is evil likely has very little reason to perform good deeds or make selfless choices, for instance, and this could result in, say, giving him more options based on alignment rather than generic good, evil or neutral choices.- Yet another NWN2 Interview - Teh Protagonist!
It's a great concept but as a standalone element it's of little value to both the game or to the player. For the game, it's only about rounding up the number of times you've made certain choices and then present an arbitrary quality or title based on them; for the player, it's just a way to see how the game categorizes the character's mindset based on his or her actions... But that's where it mostly ends. I'd expect an alignment shift to have deeper reactions other than a different title in my character's sheet.- My Dad the geek!
...That's pretty much how it got started with me. He was of the mind to buy a ZX Spectrum and so he did. While I also played, he was the main player in the house. We even tried to buy any and all Spectrum gaming magazines (our favorite was Hobby Consolas, a Spanish magazine that found its way over here and used to carry demos or full games), but as time passed he lost interest and I became the sole gamer in the house. He only cares about racing games mostly. Surprisingly he recently stated he was going to buy a PS2 but hasn't bought one yet... Seems like he's afraid to just let himself go when it comes to gaming, like he thinks its so addicting and time consuming he wouldn't have any time left for anything else. 'Course, he already doesn't have time for anything or anyone else other than himself, so I don't see what his problem is.- Resident Evil 4

Explanation. In other words, it's here! The Cube I ordered got here yesterday, so tomorrow I'll be picking up Metroid Prime, maybe some other title depending on availability.
