Doom 3, and Oblivion. It's like I'm not even trying.

Who cares about the glass? Just pass me the bottle.

It would still be a Kellog brand, but ****ty instead of flakey.

I could describe in detail the awesomeness that was watching Bloc Party and Arcade Fire playing live yesterday night and seeing them amazed with the Portuguese audience's reception, while accompanied by the woman I love, but I'm too wasted. So yes, it was awesome.

Are you suggesting that has nothing do with Fallout's style?

They're whining nancies. I for one can't wait to lockpick my way through a Vault door, fire small mushroom clouds with my nuclear catapult and hiding from radioactivity inside a portable nuclear shelter resembling a phone booth!

Shhh. It's okay, Megatron pistol. It's okay. Don't listen to the mean orc. Everything's going to be just fine... :: pats Megatron on the scope ::

The Thing Warcraft 3 + The Frozen Throne Diablo 2 + LoD in a couple of hours I certainly did not discover the wonders of torrent programs.

<insert +4 nerd rage lightning bolt of intardnet seriousness> In any case you might just get your wish, but not by Bethesda's hands.

Any similarity you may have with a one-trick pony is clearly a figment of our imagination. Groin shots were a viable alternative for those who couldn't pull off headshots and weren't entirely capable of slowing down an enemy through arm or leg targetting. It's only arbitrary when better choices are open, which simply isn't the case during a part of the game. Shooting the groin and scoring a critical would paralyze opponents, as opposed to crippling one arm or leg but still allowing the opponent to move away - even if slower. An enemy running away isn't more appealing than an incapacitated enemy - reversing roles on the same situation would be deadly for the player, who is far better at being crippled than stunned, face down on the ground, being hit.

What makes something fun for someone? In-game, it could paralyze enemies on their spot. Something that shooting at a leg or arm, for instance, didn't really do.

One of the previews mentions that, quote: Dialog quality is still a mystery, but that is pretty awful.

Same here. I know 90% of movie games are utter trash, but don't care either - it's Transformers. You realise that you are keeping those moronic suits in marketing in a job, managing the overall content of games, simply because you reflexively purchase anything with a brand you like, don't you? I thought rewarding mediocrity was the best way consumers had of sending a message to developers and publishers? My whole world just got turned upside down!

So . I have to agree it was somewhat disappointing in some areas but still well rounded enough to keep an eye out for the Origins spin off and the next season.

I'm pretty ambivalent about the movie. For every good thing about the movie, there's a pretty disappointing one. It's got some trademark McClane jokes but they don't always go well with the mostly humorless cast of characters. Justin Long sounds overly deadpan and his attempts at humor come out weird, like nervous giggles spilling out of the mouth of some guy who didn't took his medication. It's got the right amount of action scenes but some are - incredibly for the series - too over the top ( ). The terrorists are pretty forgettable, all of them: no humor, no character. I can still recite most of Hans Gruber's lines from Die Hard thanks to Alan Rickman's good acting and character development. You really wanted to hate Gruber sometimes, or even smirk at how much of a nuisance Simon was turning out to be even if those Bioware puzzles at the park were stupid. Here, you're looking at a wall. There are no quirks, no character flaws, nothing that would make him a likable villain. The only way he stands out is being a worse character than Colonel Stuart in Die Hard 2. And don't get me started on how the asian asskicker cannot tell how an injured and slow McClane isn't running against her, despite his heavy footsteps. It was fun but not always or not always in the right way. If this sparks interest in the Die Hard franchise, I hope someone more qualified for the job can write a better sequel. Also, saw Jarhead recently. Interesting portrayal of how war can influence soldier's minds but I've been spoiled after Apocalypse Now.

Yeah, you're about as a submarine on a... Uh... Witty door... D'oh!!

Like for PS2?

Because I'm Mr. Nice Guy and refrain from such illegal activities. Unless we're talking porn.

Let me just get this out of the way: turn-based isn't fast and it doesn't sell. Other than that, sounds cool.

Kill it. Kill it before it breeds!!

You're a cold-hearted hombre...

Ok, this is old news to you but Heroes is being broadcast here in Portugalville. Two episodes are aired every Saturday, and today they aired "The Hard Part" and "Landslide" - meaning that the final episode will be shown next Saturday. My problem is, I'm so enthralled by the series I'm trying hard not to read how it all ends. Should I?

Sega and Bioware working on Sonic RPG for NDS

But now with 80% more collar-grabbing action! -
I was seriously expecting her to die at the hands of either Harry or Venom, since either could embody Spiderman's dark side (Venom probably as an alter-ego, and Harry as an embodiment of his guilt and mistakes) and because it was major in the Sprinklerman's mythos. Boy, was I in for disappointment. That sucks, although I'm wondering just how much better Venom could have been with a little more thought. Come to think of it, that kinda makes sense since during the whole thing Venom just seemed tacked on while Sandman felt much more natural to the film. Marvel -1, even if I'm still recovering from the awesomeness that Ruins and Marvel Zombies was. That's even worse, but I don't think it really matters when trying to set up a new origin since there's always details missing or changed when it switches mediums. It could have been handled in a much more interesting and dark sideish way :/

I suspected as much. But it's disappointing nonetheless. I'm sure Stan could pull a few strings if he wanted, though.
