  1. I just did, few minutes ago. Worked pretty well, actually. Just murdered him inside the keep and the bad reputation was gone. Beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration. I'm afraid that may not have worked as well as you'd expect (unless some bug fix has changed the game's behaviour since I tried it). It's smart enough to remove their physical existence from the world, and to restore your stronghold's stats when they die. However, the stronghold system seems not to realise they should be permanently dead, so they can come back despite no longer having bodies. Has this been reported as a bug? Not by me, but maybe someone has passed on the reports in this Codex thread: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/poe-bug-reports-thread.98064/#post-3826061

  3. I tried Googling for the spider's location, and all I found (besides lists derived from the Prima guide) were more mystified people: http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/317sv1/where_is_the_spider_pet/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/291650/discussions/0/618458030653356911/
  4. Nyry the Deft Hand has just turned up a fourth time. Despite the fact that I ran out of patience and killed him last time. He hasn't spawned where I found him in the stronghold last time, so I've reluctantly despatched an escort for a corpse. I feel like one of those crazy animancers in Brackenbury. (At least it seems I'm not alone.)
  5. Nice that Firedorn got the last laugh; a great deal nicer if the announcement had reflected that. It's ironic that, in the name of inoffensiveness, there was a demand that one interpretation of the poem should be (ahem) hegemonistically privileged over other culturally valid perspectives; and in the end, ironically, one was.
  6. Qualified agreement: as a pithy way of giving people what they demanded but in nothing like the way they wanted it, I find it very droll. It's just not an approach that would work more than once...
  7. You can also ask Brackenbury animancers whether they're the one seeking artefacts even if you've already found the right one and are carrying a mended sceptre around.
  8. Another defect in the PDF is the useless bookmarks. /Volumes/vtrak04/PDF_Stamper/Incoming_PDFs/TPB_Samples/POELBK_FNL.pdf nested ad nauseam. I'm guessing PDF_Stamper is whatever put the watermarks there. (TPB_Samples...? Maybe they think we're all going to put their book on The Pirate Bay.)
  9. Are you initiating conversation in the usual way, or by clicking on the smaller speech bubble icon that's (hopefully) appeared right on top of his portrait?
  10. When I tried to leave Odda's home with the camera zoomed out fully, hovering over the exit marker made the cursor change to a red 'blocked' marker (presumably because it's so near the bottom of the screen) and the exit marker vanish and reappear a bit to the left. When I moved the cursor to follow it, it returned to its original position. To get out I had either to zoom in or to hold down Tab. I'm running with 1366 x 768 resolution.
  11. Early on in the game, there's a signpost that says you can go NW to Geiran's Grasp. As far as I can tell after investigating the world map exits, you can't. So maybe in the expansion...
  12. According to http://eternity.obsidian.net/game/manual-errata Rangers no longer share Health and Endurance with their animal companion. Instead, if a ranger or animal companion are knocked unconscious, the partner suffers from Bonded Grief, affecting Accuracy and other stats, until the downed ally is revived. If a ranger is ever killed, the animal companion immediately dies from grief. I had Sagani still displaying Bonded Grief after resting the entire party, though Itumaak was clearly healthy and conscious again. I had to get Itumaak knocked out again to remove it. (I don't have any save files with the effect persisting, I'm afraid.)
  13. I have found a strange item in Lora's shop. It appears to be a Seal of Faith, but the listing calls it a Potion of Minor Regeneration.
