  1. It's hard to be belligerant when you don't even have an army... "
  2. "I dun't understund thees threed."
  3. You should learn to read. If per some chance you live in a country where this skill is a luxury, I'm sure there must be some kind of humanitarian aid program to promote adult literacy. Um, come think if it, if you are posting here you are probably not in one of those countries (which makes it even more bleeding) and you obviously aren't an adult. I'm going to clear this up for you, but it's the last time. I have never said that the Ep3 game is better than the original JK. I was talking about game mechanics. You may reply when your balls drop.
  4. OH NOES!!!1 Foiled again!
  5. There is proof of this, you know. The last Iraqi elections had a HUGE participation, even though the baddies had threatened to bomb the electoral sites, killing anyone that supported the change.
  6. No, I don't think they did. But then again, they didn't have suicide bombers. And the actions of resistance or terrorist groups doesn't really change the military/administrative reality of a territory. Iraq, just like France was, is an occupied territory. Only them clever Amerikans have made friends with some of the locals and let them take a great deal of the heat. Oh, wait. I think they did something similar in France, too. " It's the same example people always bring up for the simple reason that they can't accept that while contrary to what we would like to believe, might does make right. Always has, and I'm hard pressed not to say it always will. But hey, I can't see the future yet.
  7. Oh, but I would never contribute to this fine thread being locked. No, no. Never...
  8. Obviously they do. Sales speak for themselves. Remember that we are in the minority.
  9. Funny. I guess that Germany didn't conquer France, either.
  10. My apologies then. But if you didn't expect me to get it, why did you make the joke in the first place? Another Swedish in-joke?
  11. Well, I only have two hands. So I guess I won't kill myself just yet, as surely you don't expect me to quit drinking my vodka. Anyway, you seem to have an excess of testosterone. How about you go donate a testicle or something?
  12. Good point. Oh, wait. The US de-facto conquered Iraq. I guess that, as always, might makes right. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
  13. Your logic fails to deliver.
  14. Oh my god... not again.
  15. Yeah, well. Some "social influences" could be considered rather brain-rotting. I'd rather not get comfortably familiar with those. In my case, it's not that I don't like the Odyssey or the Iliad. It's that I wasn't made to enjoy poetry. I've tried to start reading the Iliad a few times and I always end up falling asleep.
  16. Heh. JK was basically jump, swing, roll. Rinse and repeat until one of the duelists died. Throw in a few special moves with extremely limited practical usefulness and you get the picture. Also, the lightsaber was completely useless in a full-Force (barring lightsaber throw) or full guns fight. On the other hand, the Ep3 game features: Completely different lightsaber fighting styles for each duelist. LOTS of combos. The ability to use the environment (hurling objects and whatnot). A fully working (yet somewhat limited) parry and counterhit system. Force powers that don't disrupt the lightsaber combat. That is mechanics-wise. Can't argue the fact that the game is boring, as it's pretty short and the fun part of the game (duel mode) isn't very fun to play against the CPU. The co-op mode sucks as well. Still, the combat mechanics are much better than those of JO/JA. If instead of making it a rehash of the movie plot they had focused exclusively on dueling, it would have been an outstanding game.
  17. Err... yeah. That's what I meant. "Homosexuality was not so much of a taboo around the time that was written [as it is today?], so it's entirely possible." Better now?
  18. What exactly is this paper about? The treatment given to Odysseus in the Odyssey and the Iliad? Odysseus as a possible historical figure? The literary aspects and rhetoric resources of both works and how Odysseus' figure is affected by those? I'm confused now.
  19. Right. It's a widely known fact that LA only hire medically certified retards to do... everything.
  20. The camera shows Revan and some girl playing at in-and-out. Suddenly Vrook enters the room. - "Revan! WTF?!" - "Oh! Eh... master, this is not what it seems. Heh heh." - "And with my sister, no less!" - "I can explain it master..." - "You'd better can, mister!" *reaches for his lightsaber* - "Well... I was just demonstrating the finer points of... *ahem* compassion, you know." - "Oh, were you now?" - "Um... yeah. Hey, look over there! It's a hutt Sith Lord!"
  21. Homosexuality was not so much of a taboo around the time that was written, so it's entirely possible. EDIT: Who has been playing around with my post? ELDAR EDIT: Wasn't me. Well, now it was. hahaha language, Mr. numbers.
  22. Nope. As a matter of fact, it's a Spanish thing.
