  1. Uh... other than you, who said anything about impressing the regulars?
  2. What, is it "let's post a clich
  3. An ounce of respect is what you have when you sign up. It's called "being afforded the benefit of doubt". You may lose it by acting stupid or being annoying; or you may earn some more respect by posting intelligently. Again, don't try to make this look like us regulars are on the prowl for some newb to sign up so we can tear him up, because that is not the case. And you know it. Also, what Darque said is exactly what I said in the other post, before it "was spammed". But hey, don't mind me...
  4. Well, considering the video is some 12 Mb in size, I don't think I could post it. I'm not sure it would be allowed, anyway. Here's a pic, though.
  5. I was just browsing through the videos in the K2 folder, and I came across a sequence that depicts Citadel Station being blown to pieces. It's the file called "MalMov06.bik", and it's apparently part of the Sith attack on Telos plot. I thought I had done every possible thing in this game, but perhaps I was wrong. So now, is there any way to destroy Citadel Station (or let the Sith do it), or is this video just some more cut content?
  6. Mira was pretty Iron Maiden-ish. Unfortunately she failed to deliver.
  7. Lucky you. Congrats pal.
  8. We're not going to do all the work for you. Search.
  9. No. Topics are not "gone" (as in deleted) unless they were unappropriate to begin with. The search function isn't there just for kicks, you know.
  10. And you could read the guidelines before posting.
  11. So what? Time has proven that the kind of posters this particular moron belongs to is unable to read, at all. Creating such a thing as a "n00b guide" would be a wasted effort. Keep shooting 'em down, and they'll either learn, or get frustrated and leave.
  12. The memory leak isn't area-specific. It begins when you fire up the program, and it ends when either you quit the game, or the system runs out of memory to feed the program, at which point a crash usually occurs. No. Regardless of your hardware or configuration, the intro sequence is badly scripted.
  13. No. Apparently some dev posted in the Bioboards that they were going to make some processor-heavy part of NWN2 to take advantage of dual cores. By the time NWN2 is released, dual cores will be rather common, so it only makes sense that NWN2 supports it. Also, NWN 2 = Neverwinter Nights 2.
  14. I'm a bit slow today so bear with me. What music are you referring to now? As far as I know, the whole soundtrack for the game is inside the "Licenced" folder, albeit in really low quality versions. There just isn't any more music used in the game, except for perhaps the ambient music of Downtown, Santa Monica, and what not. This is the complete list, and I have added the few locations where I remember they are played: Aerial
  15. I'll be sure to throw that in your face when you admit to buying one.
  16. Sucks for you. You missed most of the game...
  17. That'd be Isolated from Chiasm. I didn't quite like that track myself, so I can't tell you where to find more of that genre. And what do you mean you never made it to Ash's? Have you started playing recently?
  18. Are you referring to the Voermans' club or Ash's club in Hollywood?
  19. I couldn't have put it better myself.
  20. Err... hadn't considered that. :">
  21. No, it doesn't. Perhaps the older versions did, I don't know, but the newer ones take way less resources than even eMule.
  22. He's also her first student. You can gather as much from the conversation with Sion at Korriban - "She clings to hope, that perhaps she can train one as great as her first".
  23. Interestingly enough, you can see the Handmaiden take her hood down in the cutscene in which the Ebon Hawk is stolen from Citadel Station. So I guess the engine can indeed handle that kind of stuff, and we were fed some bogus story about the engine's limitations. Probably another casualty of LA's "quantity over quality" policy.
  24. Ha! The same happens to me. Now I find that leaving it on actually helps me fall asleep. Anyway, BitComet is for sissies. REAL men use Azureus. Aside from that, it's a much better client overall.
