Dont think they work that way, movie was a fake i think it would be hard to make power conduct work that way and split energy, however it would be cool if you could make the weapon into a 2handed sword like in JK3. This should be possible to move the crystals energy from one place to another, would also allow more honor fighting, if you face alot you have both blade side active, if fighting one you could put blade down to one blade, allowing a fair fight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For information: Double sabers are two sabers, fixed in the middle! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My point is within lightsaber you have some crystals and a powerconduct to which on and off, the saber, if you divide weapon by splitting it in 2 you need a power conduct in both blade ends, and even then it would be weaker than a normal single lightsaber since you have to split the crystals inside since you cant have the same 2 crystals in both seperated blade ends. If you turned a Doublebladed into a single blade like JK3 that would be possible to move the energy direction, but splitting it would divide the crystals within between the 2 blades and make effect less than 2 saber wield. But if you wanna go dual wield why not just take 2 saber instead of splitting Dual bladed into 2 sabers.

Think in a way this discussion if pointless, why dont people who dont like it just stop picking them up, seems in logic that you should be able to pick something up that drops, ofcause if damaged it would be of little use but it would still be possible to pick up things that not broken. If or not you can sell them isnt really a concern of mine, if or not its a option just dont see any reason why pickup choices should be restricted that much.

agree, if it were more than 40point i might think different, but most master powers cost around 10points, so they be gone in like 3-4attacks. So id rather have a larger combat storage, if you got 80-100points extra id pick points but 40 points to little to actually notice benifit. Beside giving to many force point would place you closer to messiah, since force points are large concentration of meticlorians, and this was one of the things that made anakin skywalker step out, that he had one of the largest concentration of it. Think it would be wrong to make to many messiah characters, it would destroy uniqueness of special history characters.

Because he is a warlord, a warlord is a strategic and like to get involved in the battle over view them display his skill, he was likely a sentinel, before he was damaged. I dont think he would ever stay in a fortress doing nothing, besides sith have to be active because their subjects always plot against them if they dont get active and hold a view over things they likely to get a knife in the back. But i surspect what drove him to his death may been some kind of discovery, remember Revan was the most eager for power and knowlegde of the 2, and even some of the jedi master surspected his search for knowlegde was what corrupted him. He likely found out something about the starforge that drove him out on some quest out at the outerrim, where something happened to him, if DS is the start bases but not sure how they, go about this. But i dont think he would be as easy to betray second time, rare few people make same mistake twice.

If prestige classes dont give extra force powers, they must give something else worth while, sacrificing either force power feats or force points for. Otherwise who would pick them over class standard less forced on you, if it anything like nwn prestige classes, i wouldnt even consider taking any aside from stat + prestige classes. So i for one would love more info on what bonuses that are in prestige classes.

Wearing a lightsaber doesnt make him a jedi, jedi master, he was as far as i understood saying to allow lightsaber use for him, not same as force powers, beside the lightsaber restriction to Jedi only is a game developer, mistake. Since general grievious can use lightsaber and he isnt a jedi, so i see no valid reason why HK47 as assassin droid shouldnt be able to aswell. And i honestly dont care if PnP book say they can if any should be right in this i believe its george lucas afterall he the maker.

Well, my bad i meant the apprentice Darth Malak sends after you cant remember his name he drops a LA armor you cant wear and still use restricted by armor DS powers, which doesnt make sense sine he himself can. First time he dropped armor i was disappointed that armor was LA.

Just dont make robes as un logic as in Kotor1, remember after killing Darth mauls apprentice he had a light armour, yet still he under the battle as i recall use armor restricted combat force powers. Dont make character npc/enemies wear armour you cant because of restriction that would normally apply to both classes.

He was counsulor as i recall qui-gon, seem to remember he had a green sword. But i doubt that size is linked with class, so i dont think you have to worry if any mod on height its probaly Strengh that mods.

Mastery of Airbrush, selection tools, mask and Layers and you are well under your way. EDIT: Way i do it from scrath is making freehand drawing scanning it the put it as background, using selection on it layer, then placing actual colour on second layer, if you use selection you avoid colours going into unwanted areas. It may be possible to create a dark light saber, using dark matter and force manipulation, but even if so possible it would be far superior to common lightsaber since dark matter create a space without light do to implotion create dark energy above speed of light black holes and such, so even if it would be possible i doubt youd see it. Second i picked lightsaber according to class if gaurdian(blue), sentinel(yellow), counsulor(green), Sith(Red). So it hard saying any specific to that. However i think a white light saber might be possible.

No i dont agree, remember 2ep when he loses his mother how it affects him and he wishes power to save life, I think reason he reacts that way is because emperor is killing his son and it triggers his memories, and he refuses to let his son die to. Think it about loss, anakins always been afriad of losing people he loves, you see how much he goes into panic when padme drop from ship on Dooku hunt, think anakin despite jedi teachings are afriad of losing people he loves, and emperor killing of his son triggers what left of his humanity.

Well they do react to alignment but very little degree, it funny qouting Malak you always inspired loyalty, yet at every corner old sith attack you everyone basically attack you aside from npc members, even thou they know your revan, id have thought there be at least a few loyalist trying to help you dethrone malak again when they saw you returned. Think about it a moment if you had a leader that every logic would have said died and see him alive again wouldnt you be very surprised or for one rather team with one that a survivor rather than a coward, so much for sith been strong *sigh*. EDIT: If followers around Malak had started to rejoin you and there were a power struggle instead, then it would have felt more as a ascension into sith again. Like it was a redemption with jedi. Really thought there were given little thought into sith part of the game.

Sorry but aside from movie sequences i cant remember being subject to fear, stun or paralysis, except for choke which is a stun effect created by yourself rather than the spell. And Sentinel is a good balance between warrior/caster, i lik him i fail to see how class wasent good. Honestly i think he been one of the easiest character to finish game with because he gets best of all, he get good force powers, immunity and alot of hp, especially if fighter prior to class. When i was at end i had somewhere around 297hp and 180force point and 27att and around 27ac with force speed apprx. if you think counsolur or gaurdian gets better than that then it ok but i personally think sentinel is ok enough for me to choose them over the other 2

If npc droids coming again, in exspansion or something or Kotor3, id like the option of equiping a sword/melee weapon on battle droid if anything like Hk47 he has human like hands so i dident see much reason for him not to have access to sword/melee since i recall him being able to buy the feats.

Anyone know if jedi/sith prestige classes still give jedi force powers, like prestige classes in NwN HoTU did with feats? Or only feats

Would be need with more aliens, most of the characters are human usually, i know they are a big minority but still would be nice seeing Yoda's, twillek or others like jedi in party to. Think its boring almost every npc is human.
