Maybe his gone underground As LS like yoda did, while planning some retaliation who knows.

Carth was pretty good in battle he just drove me nuts with his constant whiney attitude all the time, he reminded me of the captive Elf enchanter in BG1 at the mines. What a classic he was;- we all gonna die....! I really thought it was sad i couldnt get to kill Carth as DS male.
-
True, just wanted to bring it up in case Developers havent thought of doing it like this.
-
Problem is force Breach remove most LS protection which is pretty cheat given it takes long to rebuff, DS dont suffer these penalties so to say, but yes if the werent easy removed effect of LS it would have been pretty balanced.
-
Ill remind to make pazaak outlawed as first action during my Dark lord reign :D . Vote for me please......

Usually always do mine something like this: Str 14 Dex 12 Con 14 Int 10 Wis 14 Cha 14 At 20lvl Str 15/(20item) or 24if DS Dex 12/(14item ds item) Con 14/(18item) Int 10 Wis 16/(26item if LS) Cha 16 I always use +4all save belt Usually do either warrior/sentinel or gaurdian LS and warrior/Counsulor DS If DS counsulor i usuall go 1hand saber, with master flurry, single style feat and master kill/Plague and life Drain and force breach amongst my favorites. Master speed along with Flurry give decent attack amount and good att/def, planning on trying dual bladed counsulor later. I am not saying my builts are the best but i usually prefer not placing much above 14 in a stat at start since i believe +2 in stat is better than +1.

Games just to easy playing through with darkside, it pretty easy to the i always win combo, first a plague to wear down their resistance then throw a kill and hit them with multi combo dead..... Dident meet much that could stand long against that, never think i played through a easier way than that. priceless....

Think reason it was made that way was to make lvling possible without having to do it in heavy battle or such but outside without it causing annoyence, but jedi class is a auto dual class effect i dont think it were meant for people to take advantage of it creating auto dual class in order to gain more jedi lvls. But anyones guess is just that a guess, since developers havent made it clear. Making a screen popup ever time you lvl in middle of battle would annoy alot of people so i think thats why level was made so you do it when you thought you had time.
-
Dident say it was cheat, since cheat is creating effects that manipulate the software, exploit is using game errors or unforseen effects to your advantages theres a difference between the 2 thou its a small one.
-
Well, that would be more or less exploiting which i naturally dont do since it could never have been developers intentions that you wouldnt level till you left Taris.
-
Hate to break it to you its impossible to leave taris as 2level as far as i know, since you be around that lvl when you get on taris. however lower levels like 5 i assume would be possible if you skip every side mission and jump past most unneeded kill mobs. I prefer Dual bladed DS melee or 1hand DS caster.

Maybe reason old party members appear is because we might learn Revan's actual role in all this, after being saved by force intervention i dont think he realise that he might have a bigger role in all this, think in Kotor2 we gonna learn more about this. However i rather believe that Kotor2 events has something to do With Sadow since there are alot about him in chronicles if you read at webpage.

....ssssh... dont tell anyone :D

Anakin wasent irritating, he just took to many bad traits from obi-wan that was allowed to grow, and pose a threat to him later. He became more reckless and headstrong sorta like obi-wan was in his padawan age, i believe reason anakin turned out bad was due to obi-wan taking apprentice to soon, and the many wars made it hard for him to notice those traits growing in anakin till it was to late.
-
Obi-wan was gaurdian, i dident see that change thou he did become more wise but that doesnt change his class. And obi-wan wasent a bad master he was just to young and headstrong when he took anakin as apprentice with push their roles a little. Become more as friend and father son than apprentice and master. EDIT: One who doesnt illuminate as mature or disciplined will have a hard time, convincing students to be such, Obi-wan just wasent ready when he took anakin as apprentice, however he wasent a bad teacher.

jedi and non-jedi teamates
Barzarel replied to ForceFullJon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Would be nice if they made non jedi more able, like Boba fet was in starwars, i know jedi are special but there should still be some that can match them in skills, in a real world if something is more able than you then you addapt and learn new skill to match them. Seems hard as to nobody being able to do that. -
Hope so because i thought many of the NWN prestige classes wasent worth it, i honestly hope that Kotor ones are different in their build.

Well my point is if it so hard for people to learn the force how can they possible affectively program a robot to use it, and further the force is a lifeforce like element it changes it would be to complex to instruct a robot to use. However i dont see any problem as to why robots shouldnt be able to wield lightsaber when non jedi could in the movies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well it's obvious not to compex to program them because it was possible in jk2 but then however jk2 is aprox 15000years (if im correct) after kotor so it woulnd be strange if its in kotor too difficult for them :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, i dont agree with Jk2 either. Example: you cant program visions, you can program feelings of others presence, And as for things like life drain how can you life drain if you dont have a connection to the life cycle, force lightning seem stupid for a droid to have since it is one of its weaknesses, few are stupid enough to use things they themselves are exposed to as a weapon, just examples on how i dont see force powers as a good option for droids. The Force illustrate your connection to what in mortal world would be cosmos, how can you program a robot to use or understand cosmos if many people hardly can themselves?

Well theres, been alot of post about henchmans roles in Kotor2 or what they should be, but when i posted there were several of the same post, but i guess it must have been forum bug then.

He ran away with his tail between his legs. I love that scene. Duku is getting his butt handed to him when he tried to use force powers. Then cops with "I see this cannot be settled by our mastery of the force, but our skills with a lightsaber" = "If I keep this up you are going to hand me my butt with my own lightning." Then when he is close to loosing he quickly drops a large metal object on Obiwan and Anakin so he can scurry away like a rat from a sinking ship. lol That said I'm for Jedi weapon master depending on how close to the D20 version he is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dont think it had anything to do with that, Dooku was assigned a task, so when he saw the chance he could possible lose he made sure he would escape in order to complete his assigned task. Only a fool would gamble your goals if you have a chance of losing however that doesnt mean that you are a coward, just timing isnt good. And dooku already been fighting before yoda showed up so yoda did have a advantage having more energy left. P.S in case any should ask his task was to deliver the plans for the Death star to his master.
-
I assume it would be alot like the old Kotor where you could pick their skills/feats/forcepowers thou i surspect you like in movies only can have one apprentice or at least hope they will make it so as to be true to Lucasarts way of things.

Personally id prefer to see it as player choice what path he is on depending on how you finished Kotor1. However between choices above i prefer as LS since i believe there has to be a purpose as to why the force intervined and saved his life. But also prefer to see him as cameo rather than active group member since it would take alot of the focus of your new character is he was to active in group. EDIT: And try not to spam post...!
-
Think he had a impact on your Kotor2 character or connection to him, but i think that he has little to do with "The sith lords" think his role is bigger and is yet for him to discover think K2 we will come to learn alot more about his role in all of this conflict in the force. I doubt his role ended in K1, but doubt we will see him in the front anymore either.

chances are it will be a great game given all the efforts being put into it, and developers and moderator activity on forum, is promising shows they care about what we think and are open to idea's. Believe Kotor2 will exceed Kotor1 by far and i think it might be a game worth playing over several times, since it sounds like theres alot of built options and story in it.
