How can New Jersey have no fans? They've been more dominant than any team in the last decade. Some may argue that Detroit is better, but NJ has gone further in the playoffs more times.

Well, over the internet, it's hard to pick up on subtle humor and good intentions. I actually thought you were a pretty standoffish guy at first, but after reading about your thoughts on entering clergy and what to do after High School, I realized you've got a great heart and you're a very nice guy under that avatar. You do seem frustrated with your circumstances, and unfortunately that's going to come across in your daily life.

I'm think Kansas City would be a better fit for the Penguins...but honestly both seem like off places for a hockey team. Houston is the one with more growth potential, I guess, but they already have Dallas. It's a bummer, because Pittsburgh has a great legacy. Thornton was player of the week, and Marleau got it last week, go Sharks

I don't think I'll include your observation when I tell this story to my wife. "

This is the team that is supposed to bne handling Jagged Alliance 3, although it sounds like thier relationship with Strategy First is strained. I think this is also the game engine they are using on JA3, but supposedly they will make it turn based somehow. I'm worried, but I'll give the demo a try.

There's a King's Quest coming out? I'm shocked! I hope they stick to the adventure game style. Someone mentioned that Xcom has sequels, but Terror from the Deep was really more of an expansion. I enjoyed Xcom 3, but it's been a long time since that came out. UFO Aftermath and Aftershock are also pretty subpar, according to most of the news I hear. But Xcom was as big as Warcraft and Command and Conquer, and yet the RTS genre exploded with clones, many high quality ones.

I'll definitely say Jagged Alliance 2 is under-rated. It had so much character to go along with the awesome combat. I would also say Xcom is under-rated, because despite selling well and being well received, there has been little attempt at recreating a game of this type. Oh, and all the Lucas Arts SCUMM games and Sierra adventure games are in need of a revival. Quest for Glory in particular.

Exo-squad is my favorite cartoon of all time. I would by a DVD box set of that...I wonder if it exists.

I can kinda tell the age of people based on thier lists...I'm surprised no one is throwing any gold box D&D games out there. RPG's had a solid renaissance in the late 80's-early 90's with Might and Magic, Ultima, Wizardry, Bards Tale...I'm sure I'm missing a few. There's one Final Fantasy on my list, it was IV (I think) and it was on the SNES. Beautiful story...there was actually an entire Opera scene.

He's clipped in the head. The helmet probably wouldn't have saved him but it was still a bad call on the commander. He wasn't getting booted, he was choosing to leave because he was shamed. The girl who tripped and shot the guy was booted. It's fun sci-fi, but you don't want to over analyze that movie. I just wish Wing Commander was half that good. The book is awesome too, although very different.

Hmm, my RPG list goes like this: 1. Might and Magic 3 (introduced me to the genre) 2. Fallout (brought me back to the genre) 3. Baldurs Gate 4. Daggerfall (just because I played it forever) 5. KotOR (first game I played through in a long while)

Silent Storm is not really an RPG. It has some elements, but it has even less than Jagged Alliance 2, which I wouldn't really call an RPG either. But then we are just arguing about the definition of RPG... Bloodlines is awesome, but I doubt its for everyone. It's heavy on the Vampire stuff. It's dark and has lots of cleavage. I just want more games where combat isn't the entire focus. I'm partial to TB because I'm slow.

Sounds like a pretty awesome game, but I think Vancouver will have trouble getting through the Western Conference teams. It seems like overall, the Western Conference has stronger teams, which will weaken Vancouver even if they make it through. I don't think the Rangers, Philly, Buffalo, and Carolina really match up well against Detroit, Calgary, Dallas, and Nashville. I see Ottawa getting to the Cup with minimal hassle.

The original poster was a signature with a famous wrestler who died recently. It's actually a very sad story, I think his name is Eddie Guerrero.

There are definitely two types of "turn-based' games being talked about here. The types with turns like Fallout, Jagged Alliance, and ToEE are meant to allow extreme tactical care. In this type, everything is happening very quickly within the context of the game, but you are being given unlimited time to plan out your actions. I personally love this style. The other turn-based combat is the type where the turns occur automatically. Most of these games allow you to pause and plan, such as BG, NWN, and KotOR. Some of these games don't, like WoW, Vampire, and (gasp!) Diablo. I don't like the combat of these games nearly as much. I can't plan things out as well. If I play these games, it's usually not for the combat, it's for the story. I prefer either to real-time games, bcause I feel rushed in those. I don't want the game to be about how quick I am with the mouse. I want to take my time and strategize.

Unfortunately, this really doesn't measure faith. My wife was raised Catholic, but she hasn't been to a Catholic church for 15 years. Yet she still consideres herself Catholic. I think this is odd, but I also know quite a few people who are the exact same way. Myself, I don't attend church, but I have faith. I would say that in many parts of the world, organized religion has lost some of its power.

3 and a half is pretty young, the Backyard sports games are pretty good and easy for young kids. Eventually, get Oregon Trail, that game rocks.

Smoking has actually not decreased significantly in recent years. It's been pretty steady at 25% of the population in North America. It's also on the rise again in teenagers.

Won't the Revolution be cheaper than the Xbox? Will it play Movies the same way? I'll end up owning all the systems eventually, it's just deciding which one I'll own first. Right now, the Xbox doesn't have the titles to entice me.

If you pick the lock on Fidel's jail cell (lockpicks are sold by the forester in the woords) all the prisoners will break out. It adds to the confusion quite a bit.

I think it was the World Health Organization that stated 50% of smokers will die of a smoking related disease. Personally, I just think that all smokers smell like arse.

Well, I think the point of Hammer and Sickle was to use minimum force...so maybe they are just trying to teach you a lesson...Mr. Violence

I agree, I want to see a few more East Coast-West Coast games. The problem is the West Coast teams have to travel way more than the East Coast teams, so the new schedule is to help that out. I don't need to see the Ducks 8 times. I get to see Sydney Crosby in like 2 years.

Do you need a monitor? I noticed the two systems you listed...one had a monitor. That's an extra cost, although very doable at $1500. I wouldn't go dual processor, you're better off using the savings from that to buy a better video card. Also, get a tower with serious breathability. You want fans everywhere.

I went in to the commandants home, and had my girl strangle him. Then I took his uniform and wandered around the prison. This way I was able to attack at Fidel's cell, and fight my way out. Still, even that was super hard.
