NHL
I don't think Nashville fans are that picky. You see older hockey markets take an attendance drop when the team is bad, but young markets tend to stay strong...if the community backs the idea of a pro sports team. Carolina has always had trouble filling the seats because it's not a great place to have a team. It's NASCAR country.

Conservatives seeking to ruin E3 now?
They aren't guidelines, they are rules, and you get a hefty fine for not following them. I think there are better ways to change the whole booth babe standard. This is more of a threat to behave, perhaps they should try and spin the fact that a more child friendly and less sexist E3 will help greatly with PR. They need to open up the Boys Club of video games, but attacking the door with an axe is not the smoothest way to do so.

Bethesda + Their Games
Uh...we haven't even seen a screenshot of this Fallout 3. Pretty premature.

Bethesda + Their Games
Uh...maybe they didn't hire Troika because it would be a bad investment? Seriously, Troika didn't have a great track record before it shut down. I'm not talking about quality, either, because I love Arcanum and Bloodlines. They just can't make money.

Conservatives seeking to ruin E3 now?
While I think it is good to set a standard that moves away from booth babes, I do not like the whole censorship idea.

Bethesda + Their Games
Yay for reading comprehension. Seriously, they are only publishing these games. Clearly they are financially doing well, so they've decided to help a few development houses get some titles out the door. I'd rather them do it than EA or some other publishing giant with no real cares about quality.

UPN, WB closing doors
I don't see it as a huge deal. They'll probably keep all the decent shows and throw out most of the garbage. I know a few people watch "Smallville", and I believe it was Volourn who loves "Gilmore Girls". They'll keep these shows running. Personally I haven't watched these two networks since Buffy and Angel went off the air.

Best of infinitity.
I actually never really paid attention to levels in BG, BG2, or PS:T. I just played the game through and levelled as the story progressed. I was way underpowered when I got to the final battle in BG, but I prevailed eventually. NWN was the first game that made me cognizant of levelling. I'm not sure that's a good thing. I'd rather it be a second hand thing...something that lies under the surface of progressing the story and getting neat gear.

NHL is back
I'm pretty bummed to hear that. I was hoping he could make it to 1,000 games. Currently he's played 915, but at his pace he'd need 4 or 5 seasons to get 85 games. There goes another legend.

NHL is back
Watching that Ovechkin video made me realize that I really need to figure a way to shoot the puck like that...it's amazing how quick it comes off his stick. And how does he always get it back on his stick after a deke? Seriously, it looks like magnets.

Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
Duel option is just a 1 on 1 battle on the battle screen. You have an army, your opponent has one, and you go at it. It seemed pretty random to me, but it crashed early on in the only duel I tried. I'm thinking you can probably build your own hero and take him to the duel ring to face other people, but right now you just choose a random hero.

Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
Ok, I got some good play time in, first impressions... Bad News: It's buggy...very buggy right now. I will be surprised to see it released in February. Good News: It's gorgeous! It really is just a beautiful game. -It has Hotseat play as an option -It is basically exactly like HoMM III. It has a beautiful 3d engine, but the combat, the map movement, and the city building is basically the same. The gameplay is exactly the same. I haven't tried the real time combat option though...but I love the turn based.

Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
I just found out the beta is strictly for multiplayer. That kinda blows, because I personally wouldn't buy the game for an online component. I'm not sure if this means there is a hot-seat component...but I'm guessing that concept went the way of adventure games and co-op (meaning it's dead.) Ah well, my download just finished...

NHL is back
I think Crosby has lived up to his expectations (except making the Pens good...but he's not God.) Ovechkin has just been spectacular as well. These two are top players at very young ages. Lundqvist is great too, but it seems like the Rangers are playing well in front of him as well. I don't think he'll be able to got in the spotlight enough to win the Calder.

Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
Since when is beta something you are automatically entitled to? Why should it be free to use Fileplanet's high speed file servers? I've never understood that mentality. I pay about $60 a year for my fileplanet account, and I got to download 3 free games when I signed up for a premium account. The 3 games were Theif 2, Hitman 2, and ToEE. That was well worth the price to me. I'm just waiting for the 30 minute client download to play. People can now go back to whining about Fileplanet.

Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
Yeah, paid fileplanet rocks. I've got in quite a few beta's before they open to the public. The downloads are also pretty decent.

Which Licensed RPG as a CRPG?
I'm pretty sure the poll was for under-represented PnP games. D&D isn't lacking for good games.
-
Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
Woohoo, I'll get it when I get home. I love Fileplanet.

Heroes of Might & Magic V Beta
Where did you hear this? I haven't seen anything on the website, it just says delayed.

Which Licensed RPG as a CRPG?
Rifts is a pretty epic setting. I know some people hate MMORPG's, but this would be the best setting for a futuristic MMORPG. There are just a ton of different areas that have completely messed up stories. Imagine taking a high level character into the jungles of South America to fight Vampires, or using a mech to battle huge Gargoyles in Europe. Not to mention the Rifts themselves make for excellent expansion ideas. Seriously though, Rifts is like every fantasy and Sci-Fi concept wrapped up in one tight package.

NHL is back
As a Sharks fan, I'm in the only division where every team is over .500. That's 32 chances to screw up. The Pacific division seriously has issues.

Movies you've seen lately
I went and saw Underworld Evolutions. I loved it, but I also loved the first film. It really finished up the story from the first movie. I was a little unclear about the ending, though. Again, some great action and a very decent plot, you get what you pay for.

The Witcher
I think the NWN2 game engine and development toolset has been in the creaton stages much longer than 18 months. That's a total opinion, but my impression has not been that this is a rushed project. Very little was known about NWN before it was released either.

NHL is back
The 'Yotes just gave away Nedved to the Flyers. I'm not surprised, but if Nedved remembers how to play, that will make the Flyers even more dangerous. I'm a little surprised they got almost nothing out of the deal. They got a guy I've never heard of who has 7 points this season. You would think a former superstar would have some value.
