  1. This is 100% correct
  2. I have a feeling that Dark Raven runs around one building one day, then another building another day, and then a third building on the third day. Then the cycle starts anew with building one. This will be repeated ad nauseam.
  3. Sounds like Eve in space...err...open water.
  4. Yeah, I was shocked how awesome it was. Considering the 30 minute show can get a bit tiresome, I didn't expect it to stay funny all the through, but I was pleasantly surprised.
  5. I heard Mercenaries 2 is coming to the PC AND it will have co-op. That sounds awesome.
  6. Geez, Gromnir is hard to read, and once I do decode his cryptic text, I immediately wish I hadn't. PS:T didn't sell as well as other titles because it was an unfamiliar setting. There are plenty of RPG's that have sold well with less combat/lousy combat/ and too much reading. The difference is in the setting. People hesitate to pick up titles they don't recognize, whereas generic swords and sorcery is pretty easy to recognize. Kel is right about the combat not hurting the sales. Sure, a few folks might have waited around to hear the word of mouth about PS:T's combat, but the game was well reviewed. Most major games make it or break it in the first few weeks of sales. Honestly I never finished PS:T and wasn't a huge fan of the game. I know this is because I knew absolutely nothing about the setting, and it was hard to jump right into. But I never felt the combat was any different than BG.
  7. Well, if you are joining a gym, you should look at what they offer in terms of personal training. My wife was a personal trainer for a couple years until she finished her teaching credential. Quite a few gyms offer a few consultations with the gym membership, and sometimes that's all you need to get started on the right track. You might want to ask what qualifications the trainers have, though. If they have Kineseology degrees, great, but they should at least have some type of credential. Being in great shape doesn't automatically qualify you to dish out great personal training advice. Consult a professional.
  8. I look forward to hearing a few reviews, although if an open beta pops up, I might try it. I'm a bit skeptical, but Sea Dogs was one of my favorite games ever, and I can see how an open sea game could work on a large scale.
  9. That's terrible to hear. Are you white? I've heard interracial couples face a ton of discimination on both sides. Do you suspect any ex-boyfriends? I'd definitely file a police report. If it escalates, you want documentation.
  10. I wouldn't stress about it. It really is a small percentage that malfunction, and if it does, MS seems pretty decent about replacing it. A buddy of mine called to complain when it took more than a month to repair, and MS sent a voucher for a free game.
  11. You don't need to purchase any warranty, every 360 comes with a 3 year warranty. Keep it well ventilated and don't run it for 18 hours straight.
  12. If only there was some sort of competition with athletes from all over the world. Then we'd really be able to call them world records. Maybe this competition could be held every four years or something. I think I'll try and start it up.
  13. *The Lame Police walk in, waving a lame-o-meter around that is ticking wildly*
  14. Civ IV doesn't need a manual, in game help and info is top notch.
  15. 6:04 was my fastest time, but I'm pretty sure I've dropped to 7:00 in the last year or so. Old age and stuff.

Just finished Potter. Good ending, a few surprises and it wrapped up well enough. I'm interested in seeing how they handle the final movie, as it's rather violent.
  17. I don't know if Laozi was attempting to be nasty. It was more just odd, and makes me wonder if maybe he doesn't have a good relationship with his own father.
  18. Is that on GBA or the DS? Is it the same game that was on the SNES waaaaay back in the day? I always thought IV on the snes was one of the best console RPG's I've ever played.
  19. I'm not incredibly knowledgable on Buddhism, but I'm sure assigning a static number to available souls is missing the point.
  20. I thought they didn't let people from New Jersey enter New York?
  21. Changed my mind... Hitman is too old Grunty leads us into dark Ivan weeps for Mom
  22. Um, I'm not in the mood to do a haiku. Ok, JA2 in short... Best turn based combat system ever. Merc personalities that make you laugh. Tons of crazy weapons to use, and there is really no ultimate weapon, so everything has its uses. Night missions, head shots from 100 yards, silent kills, mortars, ice cream trucks, wire cutters...I'll stop now.
  23. I just finished the 3rd season of The Shield. It wasn't nearly as good as the first two, but I heard it returns to form in the 4th and 5th seasons. I guess I'll add it to my netflix queu.

    I won't fail the 5th time!
