  1. It'd be nice if they just had an option for respawns. It seems like it would be a pretty easy one to program in. Personally I'm happy with no enemies crawling around, but it would be pretty lame without indigenous life.
  2. I thought it was $50,000, not $50, for a second there. Yeah, he wants someone to game with him and he's willing to pay them. It's a bit sad, but it isn't terribly shocking. They guy probably is decently well off and can't make any good reliable friends in the game. Given the sheer amount of people who log in tons of hours in WoW, his social skills must be terrible if he can't find a guildmate to do this stuff with. I'm thinking about applying for the nemesis job. It's local for me.
  3. It was somewhat popular on these forums. I was frustrated by the respawn rate myself, but I'd still call it a good purchase. The graphics alone are really in a different league than almost everything else.
  4. Im a pretty pragmatic guy, I might throw my keys in the basket... if she had any money. But she doesnt, so.. I guess these wild oats will remain untamed. Ok, that sounds shallow. Do you mean she doesn't have a job or any career prospects? Because that is understandable, because those women usually have a lot bigger issues as a whole.
  5. One nice thing about the PS3 version of NHL10 is the roster updates. There are already some out, and all I have to do is put them on a memory stick and copy them onto the PS3. The Sharks are extremely tight on the salary cap though, I really don't even have room to move players back and forth easily. I only have one player scratched right now, and the rest are in the minors. I'll have to let someone go somewhere.
  6. Do you mean unless he was all grown up and mature? I'm just saying, she probably is tired of playing the game, she wants to find a guy that is interested in settling down and starting a family. They are out there.
  7. Activision or EA would have given it to a developer, so that's really impossible to say.
  8. You have to keep in mind that Interplay is trying hard to milk every last dime out of the Fallout license, rather than just handing over the IP to Bethesda for a reasonable price. Beth paid a lot to get Fallout 3 originally, and then they did all the work to revive the franchise. I know a lot of folks aren't happy with Bethesda having the rights to Fallout, but I'd say Interplay has been a much worse steward of the Fallout universe.
  9. I've been watching episodes of "The IT Crowd" Pretty funny, but the first episode of the second season had me hyperventilating with laughter. Very good stuff.
  10. I only fight 1 in every 5 battles in the TW games
  11. Bethesda is a very smart company when it comes to business operations. Interplay is pretty much the exact opposite.
  12. I turn left.
  13. MMO's take years to develop, so they should have been able to show some sort of progress by now. According to the lawsuit Interplay has been twiddling their thumbs for awhile, which isn't hard to believe at all.
  14. I said the constant suing is sickening, which is hardly whining. They are both pretty standard business lawsuits, they aren't frivolous. The first one, the MMO, was a contractual situation and Interplay knew it was coming. The second one has Interplay attempting to make money off Bethesda's product by releasing a 'trilogy'. What, do you want them to just hug it out? Bethesda is running a business here.
  15. Fighting can be turned off. It is alright, I've never been a fan of fighting to begin with. I wouldn't call it terrible, in fact I can see where some people might really enjoy the new system. It's a lot less about button mashing than back in the day.
  16. I think the board play will also be a big adjustment, once I get that down, I think I'll have more luck setting up plays from behind the net. GM mode rocks.
  17. I actually bought the Fallout Trilogy recently, and I had a completely different box cover from the ones shown. In fact, when I first saw it, I was shocked because I thought it was a bit early to put Fallout 3 in a combo pack. I had to look closely to see that it was Tactics as the third title. So yeah, it is misleading.
  18. Not believable at all.
  19. I think I prefer the Be a GM mode in NHL10. It's like the franchise mode, but really beefed up. They did a good job with it. You still get to play the games as well. It was tough making some of the trades, but I'm trying to match the real ones right now. Vancouver wouldn't take Erhoff though, they were too close to the cap, so I sent him to Nashville. The draft was pretty cool, you get phone calls with trade offers and everything.
  20. NHL10 is fantastic on the PS3. I'm not saying it isn't on the 360, I'm just saying if you switch platforms, you won't be missing out. Not that it matters right now, my internet is terrible, so I couldn't play co-op regardless. I went through the draft process, managed to go 2nd, but I think I'm going to restart and choose a team, I don't want to play for the Canucks. Also, the GM mode looks intriguing. I'll have to pull off the Heatley trade though.
  21. Nice work GD, you old dog you
  22. I hope to be playing NHL 10 in a few hours.
  23. 7 Pounds - I cried like a little girl. It was good.
  24. It should remind you of Predator.
  25. I always played Red/green when I was into Magic in High School, but I think red/white fits me well enough.
