I think there is supposed to be a six month rule with exes, where you don't see or talk to them for that length of time. But I've been married too long and I really have no idea how the single people do it these days. When I say 'do it', I'm being literal. If we manage to get both kids asleep at the same time, we typically just pass out from exhaustion.

One time I attended the wrong class for three weeks. I turned in a paper, and it was returned to me with a note saying I was not on the class roster. It was a bit embarrassing. I actually needed the correct class to graduate on time, so I had to go beg the professor to let me try and catch up after missing his class for three weeks.

Nobody really wants a unique setting. The Secret World will probably suffer the same Fate as AoC, having a mediocre start and lousy subsciption numbers afterwards. AoC had a spectacular launch, moving over a million units in the first month. They went on a hiring spree to deal with it. Then they lost a huge amount of subscriptions in the first few months, and weren't prepared to deal with the economics of that. If Secret World can sell that many out of the gate, hopefully they will be smarter about how they handle that capital.

Good plan, because the odds she will find you are pretty low.

I'd say there is a much greater chance of a large plague than some kind of crazy overpopulation worldwide riot.

Still playing Risen. It really made me drop GTA4 fast. I probably won't go back to GTA4 unless I find a way to improve the performance.

I have a few concerns about your odds of re-hooking up with this girl slug. Don't take this too critically, as there is really no bad way to lose your virginity, unless it is in prison. First off, the car is a pretty bad place to do it. You mentioned the heat and everything, that is going to leave her with a fairly negative memory of it. Also, there are two type of girls, the ones that want to reach the O and aren't concerned about your O, and the ones that expect you to reach your O. You missed on both of those. It isn't a big deal that you didn't get her to reach, that is tough to do, but there might be some concerns by her that you didn't reach. Did she know this was your first? It would probably be good for her to know, the first should be treated as a mulligan situation. If she knew and she doesn't give you one more shot, then she isn't worth your time.

I've never really seen a game come so close to making your decisions in the original game seem to have a real impact in the sequel. Given the raw amount of choices available, they did a fantastic job of showing consequences. It was also pretty obvious from an early point that ME2 was a bridge to the conclusion. It was a launch pad for the characters, and I'm guessing the third will have very few new faces but will be focused on wrapping up the plot.

I don't think it is the English, so much as the lack of spaces in between words. Is your space bar not working right? I'm pretty sure I disagree though. Mass Effect was very good and ME2 improved on quite a few aspects of the original. I'm excited to see how they wrap it up.

I remember the clunky interface from FFXI seeming to be because it was designed for consoles. It's a shame if they weren't able to correct that, it was a fairly glaring issue.

Guild Wars is much more akin to a Diablo 3 than an MMO, by the way. GW2 though, seems to be going with the persistent world model of an MMO.

It seems like if they had made the beautiful open world more than just a backdrop, it would have been a better game. I noticed that playing the demo. At first I was in awe, and then I started to notice that my exploration was rather fruitless. I can definitely see the AP comparison. Both have great stories and are going to get a nice cult following, but they have trouble matching up to other games in their genre. Mafia is marketed as an open-world game but doesn't do what GTA and others have done, and AP isn't as sharp as other stealth shooters.

The Duggars' are amazingly self sufficient. Kate Gosselin and the Octomom seem like better targets for our ire.

I prefer BG1 to BG2.
