I was planning on waiting 6 months to a year on Two Worlds 2 anyways, so that all the bugs could be fixed.

Dang, this is really going to ruin that record the Star Wars universe has had for avoiding plot holes!

Arrested Development and Better Off Ted are also good. The real shame is that many of the solid new comedies are getting axed rather quickly, despite good reviews. Networks need to adjust to the new market, where many viewers are using non-traditional means to get their shows.

We probably got more from the release of Alpha Protocol than the DS3 announcement.

Why, do you resent his success? Actually, I feel sorry for him. Over the years he has become more and more bitter about the taxes he pays. He complains about money and the government almost constantly, and I've avoided hanging out with him for the last while. Money has become a central focus of his life and that seems fairly sad. I know he works hard for his money, I appreciate that, but I wouldn't trade places with him. A couple years ago, my wife and I went to dinner with him and his spouse. I go out to dinner about once a month, given our family budget as teachers with young kids. We went to Indian food and the bill was about $60 for the four of us. We split the bill, but he felt it was necessary to complain about how expensive it was. It put a damper on the evening. It just seems a tacky thing to do. That is the way I feel about a lot of the complaints of the rich. Try to enjoy what you have!

It could happen, but it would be HIS fault. I'm pretty sure if he grows up to become an important scientist (he seems like he's on that path ) he can petition to have himself dropped from the list easily enough. And hey, there is always EuroDisney...or did that close?

His argument seems more that taxes shouldn't be at 35-50%, which they are for the wealthy in the US. I get the argument, but then I also have trouble sympathizing too much for my buddy who drives a ferrari and lives on a lake. We need to spend smarter, for sure, but I don't believe that just because the government spends money ill-advisedly, they should be cut off.

Yes, I saw it in theaters, and that might have made a big difference. Not all movies look good under the HD microscope.

I liked GI Joe. I thought the special effects were top notch and the acting was serviceable.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney does the whole lawyer genre pretty great. It's more of an adventure game, but really, it works very well.

I'm playing ME2 also, but I decided to finish exploring all the solar systems before starting the Broker DLC. There are some pretty good anomaly missions out there that I missed, the big ship on a cliff is pretty awesome.

The 49ers season ended a bit earlier than expected. There go my moderately high hopes of a winning season.

Seconded. I've been playing MMO's since The Realm by Sierra. I play almost all of them that come out. I typically put in a few hours a week with them. I've got a pretty high level character in LotRO, and I get to take part in the end game stuff on occasion. MMO's are actually better when you do play casually, grinding hours every day just means you run out of content faster.

This was a facebook game, I'd hardly call it an MMO.

I really doubt we will see a full expansion for ME2. Isn't ME3 due out next year? They seem set on DLC only, which is fine because I'm pretty excited for ME3 and would rather them focus on that.

Fallout:NV is done and the Wheel of Time is more of an advisory situation. They are probably getting ready to start a new title, actually. Patch teams are also very small and able to work on other projects concurrently, as is the WoT team.

In terms of enthusiasm, sure, but the majority of folks who bought the game played through the single player stuff and then shelved it... just like any other non-mmo game. I agree with this. It seems like a pretty odd decision. If you are going to create an easy to use toolset, why wouldn't you have a small team make a campaign with it? Bioware seemed to make a very basic campaign with NWN, it was surpassed in quality by the fan community fairly quickly, but at least it came with something to play out of the box. It's pretty early in the development though, so I guess time will tell.

He said the HP will be about 3 times what the tabletop uses. Considering mages have like 4 hp in the tabletop game, that sounds reasonable. The only other specific he said is that they are ditching initiative rolls. The interviewer was referring to Turbine and how they handled DDO, maybe you misread that as the developer.

You can continue playing and doing quests after the end of ME2. If you don't get killed, that is. I think I read that ME3 will take any save, not just an endgame one, so you should be able to do stuff after the ending and have it carry as well.

This is quite clearly not an MMO. It is just NWN without a single player campaign. If the toolset is easy enough to use and the servers are stable and easy, it should be a nice idea.

Surely you're aware of its many flaws! I admit the second to second is definately fun, but the boss AI coupled with awful controls, a terrible hour to hour, and ridiculious save mechanic spoil the experience. I'm really just looking for second to second fun out of most video games. I enjoyed Dead Rising too.

And it is infuriating! I hates them... and the stupid masses who play MMORPGS! Hey, I resemble that remark!
