They did this about a decade ago. I don't know of any regular Wal-Marts or regular Targets. The last regular Target I know of was the one I worked at in 2000. Which closed down and started splitting employees into nearby SuperTargets. We had a new Walmart put in here in Morgan Hill, and it is rather small, but it has an amazing grocery store. I've never been a fan of walmarts, all the ones I've been in have been terribly messy and miserable places. Apparently we got the high end version though, because everything from the bathrooms to the vegetable aisle is immaculate. It is better than our fairly new Target and our large Safeway. It doesn't have the same inventory as a large grocery store, but the prices are unbeatable. It really changed my opinion of the entire company.

I usually only grab food at Target if I'm short on a couple things but needed to go there for something else, like diapers. I do get some decent coupons from them on occasion. There food selection is still pretty weak.

Like Slowtrain, I rarely get further than 100 pages into a book I dislike. Even in college when I was assigned certain books, if it was not good I just skimmed it for talking points. I used to read Piers Anthony books in middle school, but he seemed to slowly turn into a dirty old man as he wrote them, and so I gave those up.

IMHO the bandit camp is the worst of the questlines. For my first play through I went with Inquisitors and it was much better structured and more immersive. I went to the bandit camp first as well, since they sounded like a Robin Hood type group. But after I spoke to a few of them I realized they were just a bunch of lazy thieves living in a smelly swamp. Then I snuck into the town and talked to some more folks, and it really became clear that the bandits were a bunch of jerks. So I did all the town quests and then joined the Inquisition, and it was a very enjoyable progression.

Not to be a buzz kill, but considering that a bajillion other folks are on steam with tickets I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. I was going to gift my winnings to folks like you, but now you are off the list! Actually I doubt the odds are that steep. Sure, there are millions of people who use Steam, but you have to figure the people who actively sought out tickets is a good deal smaller. Sure, it is still probably 10,000 to 1, but don't underestimate the power of positive thinking. When I buy lottery tickets I immediately plan out how I am going to structure the next day after I hit the jackpot. 'Tis best to be prepared.

As I said earlier, this is most likely the publisher's responsibility. There is a chance that Obsidian didn't even handle the final steps for such a small patch. If you notice, the official technical support section is handled by Square Enix. This is simply a forum hosted by Obsidian, we get a few developers in from time to time, but if you expect someone to drop what they are doing to address your needs, you are going to be disappointed. It is first and foremost a place for fans of Obsidian to gather. It is also a gladiatorial pit for people who like to argue over RPG's. Two men enter, one man leaves!

Two Worlds 2 Fate of the World Just Cause 2 Darksiders Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword Penny Arcade Adventures Combo pack Post Apocalyptic Mayhem (Ok, I grabbed this for the achievement, that was dumb.) Alien Breed 2: Assault (Free) So TW2 was the only thing I picked up over $5, and I had been waiting on that one for awhile. So far Just Cause 2 was the best deal, I've been having a blast with that. I think it was about $40 total.

Look, there are maybe a handful of Obsidian employees that come anywhere near this message board, and it is unlikely that they are the ones who did anything with the patch. It is not part of their job. In fact it really is the publisher's responsibility to get this type of information out for people, and given how minor it is, it probably won't happen.

It also seems to completely ignore the fact that the founding fathers were extremely wealthy. All that stuff about aristocracy and sacrifice is a bit of a stretch. Speaking of the government making decisions for us, why did they establish an electoral college? That bothered me a lot more than the religious assertions, although they did open with that and it doesn't seem to really jive with the rest. Specifically, how is our country virtue-less? in 1776 we had slavery. Slavery. That probably bears repeating. We bought and sold people in 1776. Morality is a pretty tough thing to define, but it is hard to take anyone serious that thinks we haven't become better people as a whole in 235 years. So the whole spiel contradicts itself with jumping between "Government shouldn't tell us what to do!" and "National immorality should not be allowed to exist!" If it had just stuck to the complaints about politicians I would have jumped on board with it. It is interesting if this is from the 90's, because it really sounds like an anti-gay marriage rant when it uses words like perversion and ordering private relationships. The more things change, the more crotchety old people cling to a rose colored view of the past, I suppose.

That's actually pretty informative. It sounds like this project may be getting more priority with the big games released, and that could be good news for it.

It was a tough call. KotOR 2 is what brought me to these forums, so that was definitely a big one. But they've really hit their stride of late, and I found AP and FO:NV to be incredible games. I finished them both, which is rare for me with other games. I haven't finished DS3 so it wasn't really in the running. I gave NV my vote in the end because it indulged my sandbox spirit as well as told a great story.

I'm curious how many tickets you folks have managed to get. I have 4 without really trying.

It's almost like the Titanic ended his career, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe it was because he played a total douche. I liked him in the Phantom, but I think that may have bombed at the box office. My favorite movie I've seen him in was a Tales from the Crypt full length feature film. He played a demon and was fantastic.

I'll never understand what happened to Billy Zane's career. He was making some great movies in the 90's, and then he just fell off the map and became a B-Movie star.

PS3 patches are often huge though, I've seen quite a few that were over 100 megs.

I just re-arranged my Steam wishlist in case I win the raffle. I've got four tickets in right now. I put a bunch of newer games that haven't been released yet, I figure if I get lucky I want it to be worth some decent moolah, instead of a bunch of discounted games.
