  1. My theory was always that Krezack and Lord of Flies were the same person. They disappeared at the same time. edit: This forum ebbs and flows. I think it's pretty tame right now.
  2. Ignore the naysayers, it's a great game and a great new world that Obsidian has hand crafted.
  3. They will step in when it comes to personal attacks, but it isn't easy to allow debating and not have some of it get dirty. We all cross the line sometimes.
  4. Ok, played the first scenario of Hard West. It's a pretty interesting system, to say the least. The story is pretty good.
  5. My apologies, you both seem to have very healthy strategies in regards to dealing with this type of thing.
  6. I stand by my advice. People like this feed on your reaction.
  7. Probably just best to ignore it.
  8. That doesn't really have anything to do with the topic at hand. I doubt there is a lot of crossover between the people that have overcome intellectual disabilities to attend Universities and the people these "social justice warriors" you guys are so up in arms about. It's actually pretty insulting to even compare the two.
  9. Are you still in the tutorial area? It should only take about an hour to get out of there. I enjoyed it quite a bit once I took back city hall and started exploring the whole New York area.
  10. I know there is a big choice between who the main protagonist is depending on how the first game ended. I dont have a save anymore, so hopefully it lets me choose what I did.
  11. It's payday, so I picked up Hard West on sale and Banner Saga 2. I started a replay of the original Banner Saga, and I'm torn between continuing or just starting the sequel.
  12. If you liked Wasteland 2 and Planescape Torment, you will probably love this. I would expect the quality to be right in line with Wasteland 2. I think it comes out this year.
  13. As someone who works with special needs children on a regular basis, this entire conversation is disturbing and ill conceived.
  14. Hmm, I wonder what the implications for Uber and Lyft are with young kids? It sounds like Denver might be the best option, plus I can always rent a car to make it easier to get around.
  15. My RV is getting up there in years, right now it is in the shop and I'll be dropping about $3k on new tires, transmission service, and fixing the front wheel bearings that are going bad. But we've had it for 7 years and it's a comfortable little home for us for about 6 weeks a year.
  16. With the success of GoT, I can see WoT turning out pretty well.
  17. I'm starting to plan my summer RV trip, and I'm trying to figure out where to stay in Colorado. Denver has a good RV park within the city limits that has easy access to bus routes, meaning we can get around easily without renting a car. Colorado Springs has some as well, but they are not well rated. Fort Collins and Boulder don't have any parks very close by, so I'd need a car to get around and it'd be a bit of a drive.
  18. Hitler's prosperity was also a bit of a mirage. The long term viability of the German economy under Nazi rule is very questionable.
  19. Well there is obviously a very thin line between satire and simply being an a-hole. At its best, satire does more than just gratify the ego. I'm sure we all cross the line more often than we'd like to admit. But that video is a pretty clear example of just being an a-hole.
  20. I watched about 30 seconds of that clip. You have someone being ridiculous, so someone else made a ridiculous video about it. Fascinating. Circle jerk of stupidity.
  21. There are a few stories going around about that. It might of been intentional. It isn't ugly yet, as the closest family member has already filed a petition to put the whole matter in the hands of a neutral corporate trustee that handled Prince's business affairs. If she was going for drama, she would have petitioned to make herself executor.
  22. Pilots are really flying B-52's?
  23. In my experience, the more powerful a union is, the less effective it is at representing the individual worker. It's a very difficult balance.
