Crusader Kings II .. My Arabian Empire (with over 20 vassal Sultans) is preparing to face the Mongol hordes, they've send envoys, which I played nice with, but their armies are approaching. Luckily I can muster about 280k men and have a little over 10k worth of gold on my side, so I should be fine. Looking forward to wrapping it up and trying on the Indian DLC. Also playin Fallout New Vegas, in Old World Blues now with a decidedly 'unsciency' character, which is actually not as fun.

On IMDB alone GoT has more than twice as many votes and a much higher score.. GoT is widely popular and loved while TWD is hooking the zombie crowd, who are loosing interest fast. Otherwise I agree, I watch every episode I can, but I always just end up groaning and fast forwarding through the stupid.. which is basically 80-90% now. The comic however is all kinds of awesome.

Would love to visit Rome around 10-200AD and Byzantium in the years before 1200 and the fourth crusade. Then India around 240BC to met Ashoka, the warrior conquerer turned peaceful Buddhist emperor - much like Marcus Aurelius from our corner of the world - who I'd love to meet as well of course. Greece during the Peloponnese wars, particularly the streets of Athens under the siege.. And China during the Warring States Period, meeting many famous politicians, generals and philosophers that came out of the conflicts... Then hop to the Sengoku period to see it mirrored in a Japanese setting. and Paris in the 1930's to round up the trip.. -
Procrastinating and reading old threads .. Ah like the "useless information threads" or the old "picture threads" heh.. It's rainy and I've done all my projects for the week.. so a little bored

"Her" .. I liked it, but actually didn't think it would be well recieved or Oscar nominated. Happy it is though, it's not as thought provocative as it wants to be, but it certainly made me go "hmm" a few times. I was however impressed with their attention to details, fashion, phrasings etc all hint of near future without getting all "retro-future" with overly contemporary styles exaggerated etc.

About the same for me I'd say.. But vanilla I never got any issued, with the DLCs and mods though..

I'd say the games that introduced a certain feature.. The first 1st person shooter game, the first 3rd person, the first isometric etc etc in addition to the genre defining game. To showcase why it was introduced as well as how it works.

Sometimes the random consequences in this game is hilarious.. So this guy became king in Burgundy, Europe.. Because this guy was exiled by me a 100 years earlier. and he married someone, who eventually got a title. introducing a little colour to the aristocracy.. :D

Project Zomboid just launched multiplayer mode.. A zombie sandbox game done old school isometric style. It's pretty awesome as it is and still in beta.

Exams are over - I think it went pretty well. This semester is pretty strange so far, in a good way - my classes are fairly easy, but very different. Normally history tries to be one of the more 'serious' human studies, with a strict methodology and scientific approach to writing. But my classes so far have focused on the narrative storytelling and how to write 'interesting' history, to dabble in the implicit etc.

Both, we've been very active, so that's left too little screen time.. It turns out I'm apperantly addicted to these boards however as I've even had a few dreams about 'em. Boring dreams about posting funny things and keeping you updated haha.
