So me and the bartender is an item now. Also gonna celebrate Christmas eve with 2 Russian event girls (those scantly clad chicks that frequent bars and give free merchandise) and a friend apparently.. That's gonna be interesting. And currently slaving over the most boring exam rapport.

I've always thought that "The Polar Express" sounded extremely ominous.

That's true - and I think (hope) everyone would be lying if they said this never happened to them, but it just seem to happen a lot to some. Also it did go a little crazy last night.. That couple is insane - but fun.

I know right. so I'll be going out in few minutes to celebrate my married friends birthday, let's hope she's not too wild tonight.. Also saw this and immediately thought of you LC hah.

Gotta agree with Woldan, there are plenty of equally exciting things you can do if you don't have protection. A great sex life requires discipline

Realized just how crazy my hangout bar is - they were holding a "Dusk till Dawn" theme party last night and suddenly strippers with snakes came in and gave free tequila shots. While this crazy Mexican themed rock band was just going insane.. I was half expecting them all to be vampires, it was pretty spot on. My favorite part was that all the old time rockers came 'round and partied hard. bad picture of her, but you get the idea

While I usually drop a crapton of approval points on studios that update their old titles, this leaves me a bit conflicted... are there still people playing Postal 2? Pissing on people wasnt that fun.. or was it? Read it as Portal 2 all the way and was thoroughly confused by your posts and the article! XD

Last thread here. I'm studying for my finals here in January and getting serious with the bartender, so this single life might be coming to an end soon.

I've driven from Denmark to Marocco keeping to the speedlimit. So many people die on the road every day because they think they can control a car going 20km/h faster - so many trucks kill cyclist here, cause they swing too fast and don't follow the rules.. (and many cyclist die 'cause they think they can bend the rules too) I have no respect for the very very selfish desire to get somewhere a little faster, at the very palpable added risk of killing yourself or even worse someone else. edit: in many ways I don't think humans should be allowed in control of anything going faster than 40km/h, except on racing tracks.

anything over 120 should be considered speeding.

In space no one can hear your dissapointment..

Inspired by an article in a Danish tabloid. Most women in the west enjoy legal abortion, but in countries where this is the case, there are almost never a comparable option for men, who do not wish to be a parent. Paraphrasing from the article: It's a fact that, legally speaking, a women has a right to give birth to a child, whether the man wants her to or not. It's my opinion that this leaves men with a moral problem, because being a dad is being a dad. Fatherhood is final. I think that a man should have the right for a sort of legal abortion in the same spirit that women have the right to a physical one and, within a certain time frame, be able to deny the fatherhood of the child, regardless of whether the woman decides to carry the child to term. The man would then not be legally obligated to care for the child and it would be considered fatherless. As I thought about this I actually found myself somewhat agreeing, in certain conditions at least. If a women cheats a man, by sabotaging the condom or something similar, there are no repercussions for her, but he is now legally bound to at a minimum financially support for the child. Which I find pretty appalling, this leaves women with a substantial advantage in the legal area of parenthood and pregnancy. In fact men have almost no rights when it comes to this issue. Of course it could also be argued that since women must bear the entire burden and risk of childbirth, and abortions can be extremely unhealthy, that this is entirely fair. What are your thoughts on this? Is it just a risk that the 2 consenting adults must accept, a child may be the result of having sex and thus everyone involved is by legal definition consenting on responsibility of caring for a potential child, in case the the mother should decide to carry to terms? Or should a man be able to say no? and if so, in what circumstances should he be able to that?

I dreamt I had several alts that I use when I sleep.. Sorta like a really sad and boring Fight Club.

So my ex contacted me and asked if I wanted to meet. We parted on fair enough terms, but haven't kept contact in the year since our break up. Should I avoid it? My guts says it'll be important for both of us, but at the same time I'm getting serious with the girl I'm seeing and that could be a strange signal to send to her. Hmm

I know, we just disagreed on the causation after that. As he argued this was proof that life created the universe and I think it only really proves that observation should be seen as part of the phenomenon observed.
-
I don't see the correlation between the observer effect and biocentrism. It seems logical that an observation "forces" a quantum state and thus an observation changes the outcome - and so an observer is simply another factor in a system - rather than resorting to the conclusion that reality is a product of intelligent/conscience presence.. I don't know, it just seems like quite a leap.

Drunk from friday until now basically. Grand meetup at friend's new bought house plus celebration that 2 are becoming dads. So food and alcohol in abundance. Then I had to get to my nephews birthday today. Looking like a trainwreck and feeling worse. Guess I realized what kinda uncle I am.
