What you did today
Interesting last 4 days, I was invited to participate in tantric yoga yesterday. It was a really unusual (but good) experience and something I'd recommend, the energy of that session stayed with me all day and even now, I was calm, focused and just felt vibrant with life.. and as I went out that night, this intense feeling stayed with me. But the effect it had on people around me and how we interacted was mindblowing.. It ended up being one of the most intense nights and mornings of my life... And had several "to do before 30" crossed of my list.

Yeah, meele weapons are highly effective against firearms, thats why SWAT use Katanas and swords when they storm buildings. Wait.... I use the best of both worlds for personal protection against nightly intruders, a large caliber rifle loaded with expanding hunting bullets with a 50cm bayonet mounted at the muzzle. Half rifle half spear. I live in a "dangerous" neigbourhood.. and I've never even had a hint of trouble.. and no one here robs a house with gun - Gorgon managed to scare 2 junkies away with a broom, that should tell you all you need to know.

Heh, yeah .. I'm usually pretty upfront about it though, but there certainly is a truth to Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.. As to what happened... I wrote a pretty long story heh, but decided against posting it.. I wanted to have some alone time with a very cute bartender, she likes me and I like her - and last night was a great chance, but then my ex shows up and after that another girl I was flirting with who was very gropey. The bartender got pissed (the timing was impeccably bad on both accounts) and I ended up going home with the flirt instead. Thereby pretty much burning my bridge with the girl I actually wanted.

Movies you've seen recently
I'm impressed how quickly it rose on the top 250 on IMDB it's #52 now.. I'll definitly check it out once it hits DVDs or Netflix. Also, saw a trailer for "Under the Skin" and got very exited, then I read the premise and got a little less exited.. I would love to see a movie that truely tries to delve into the alien. It's a perspective that's understandably not very explored, but I feel it has soo much potential. Perhaps Lynch could pull it off..

There are some pretty unique genetic mutations that are prevalent in certain ancient cultural (and therefore racial) groups - most Europeans have certain mutations on the Y chromosome that came from the Middle East/Turkey when farmers migrated here. So if that is present it's a good indication that the person has Caucasian ancestry. So there's probably a similar African, Jewish, Asian and North American Indian equivalent etc.- What you did today
- What are you playing now?
I loved their WW2 games, they were a lot better than the Medal of Honor series - some of the set piece battles there were really good, like Stalingrad, The Hill and the battle of Berlin.. but the "sploshuns!", as you put it, become the main focus point from Modern Warfare. They did ok in World at War (probably because they outsourced it) and then it went back to stupidity and beyond. Stopped playing completely at Modern Warfare 2 I think. They should probably have gone the route Battlefield Bad Company did, making it humorous and a little over the top cliche - that way they could easily get away with all those deus ex machina they try to pull off all the time.- What are you playing now?

It's 3:15 and I have class in about 5 hours.. ugh.. for some reason the influenza totally wrecked my internal clock and sleep pattern. I don't really get tired unless I'm up for 18-20ish hours and I'm dead tired unless I sleep +10 hours. Not great for trying to keep up with school and consequently I've hardly been to class for the last week. Perhaps an 'all nighter' to try to set it right.- Music, part 2
