depends on where you are I guess .. Denmark is getting hotter for every year it seems .. when I was a kid we usually had winters with -10 or -15 celcius .. now it hardly ever snows (and I'm not just thinking fondly of my childhood! ) and summers are getting much hotter .. standard 10 years ago was a 25-26 degree when it was the hottest .. now it has peaked 30 and sometimes 40 in the the last 5 years! and my parents and grandparents say that these are the hottest summers they've ever had in a row! But to tell the thruth I don't believe in human caused global-warming! temperatures have risen and fallen many times over centuries .. the rise in temperature causes more storms, which we see every year! but within a decade it will probalby fall? who knows!? or we are on the way to an iceage .. before the last one temperatures rose up to an average of 3-4 + globally! (and we didn't pollute very much back then so the cause was probably natural, like I think it is today)

yeah it's 10-15 here .. same as a cold summer .. it's usually 5-10 in minus! and this summer was one of the hottest I've ever experianced it was 30+ several times .. highly unusual here!!

okay I created it with more than a couple in my mind .. but some of them have answered, and more than 1 haven't! Volourn, EnderWiggin, Darque, Kaftan Barlast, Pope, Ludozee, Taks, Mkreku and so on .. probably more .. but I can't remember them all now!

I will try before I buy .. people have given me some warnings about the game, people I know share my opinions! I will however, no matter if I hate it or not, buy the game .. (I know doesn't make sense) but then only when it gets very cheap! it's just because I don't have alot of money, so when the game comes out the 80$ it's going to cost, I want to make sure isn't thrown out the window, for a game I won't enjoy!

I love all of them .. but AC was by far the best in the series!! I loved the quotes!! if they made a AC2 I would be the happiest little gi .. guy .. in the world!!! (w00t)

no it's like Risk .. you have this huge map divived into alot of sections like the Risk game .. each region has specific cards which give a bonus of some kind .. perhaps it's a card that gives you an extra army or one which allows you to start a battle with 250+ in every resource, or something complety different.. you "build up" your regions by spending "tribute" points, which each region also generates .. and the higher the value of the region (1-8 I think) the more developed .. so if you are attacked in a region where you have 8, you start with ALL the buildings available for that age (in a AoE battle), and if it's only 1, you start with the minimal etc. and then you just conquer the world, some regions call for different battles .. some you need to develop trade, some you only get an army and must take the capitial .. and other you build up a city like AoE and must win by conquering all! it's actually fun, even though it sounds extremely lame! there are campaigns who are very different .. you can also fight the "Cold War" or "Alexander's Campaign" or "Napoleon" or "colonization of the New World"! all with very different goals, different cultures and different style of play! (well essentially it's all about conquest! but the road there is a little different from campaign to campaign) Cold war is like the first, but this time you can build Nuclear missilles and scare the other nations with you build-up of WMD! muhaha!! and the goal is to make sure that USA or Russia (depends on who you play) doesn't get to powerful .. and that you promote Capitalism or Socialism in the world .. my only problem is that for every 3 turn in the World Campaign, you go up 1 "age" like from "ancient" to "feudal" .. and that is a little too fast .. so you race through the game to conquer the world before the time clock runs out, which means you pratically needs to take 1 provins every time .. and same goes for "Cold War" also way too fast! - Rosbjerg

my favorite games are definitely the Total War series .. because of the amount of control you have over the troops in the battle! the best of them all was Medieval, that will always be my favorite and most played game .. closely followed by Civ 2 and Civ 3 ..

Yes it would. I hate the AoE gameplay, but it's a proven success so there you go. If AoE was turn-based, it'd probably be my favourite strategy game, but wouldn't sell. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> play Rise of Nations .. it's more advanced than AoE (the old).. and have implemented a turn-based Risk style campaign map! where you then go down and fight AoE style when you enter a region .. I thought it was somewhat original, and it's ok fun!

excuse me for my ignorance .. but custom titles?? my guess would be you are referring to the "level 1" where you then could create your own .. but other than that!?

lol .. talk about overkill .. and an inferioritycomplex!
