  1. well Langky .. you seem to enjoy music! :D do you play any as well?? I love rock above all else .. but I love eksperimental music .. crossing genres! so most of the music I listen to is pretty .. well .. far out! :D one of my favorite bands (Oziris) is a Inde/folk/rock/garage with a slice of ambient/ band with heavy inspiration from Danny Elfman's creations .. kind of a combination of ancient egyptian lore with a Wizard of Oz atmosphere! hence their name.. it's like "witch rock" or Edward Scissorhands meets Dorothy Gale in music style! in one of their best songs their lyrics is an ancient recipe for a love potion .. called "Rosemary and Rue" you should hear it!
  2. ^^ in absolute and utter agreement!! :D
  3. no .. jus the regular game! I do admit it only happens 5-6 times during an entire campaign with a roman faction .. but as everyone else, both Roman and all other enemies do it! especially if I'm Greece (sorry .. Hellas)!
  4. BG the orginal .. it was the first game I ever became truely addicted too! BG > Shadows of Amn > Fallout > Fallout 2 ..
  5. fav.. - Music, listning .. playing .. making, like writing poety or song lyrics.. - Water, rain, snow etc - Learning new things - watching a good movie, reading a good book, playing a good game .. getting into a great story! - talking with people, and learning (from) their important stories .. and passing on your own .. both fun/serious hate.. - feeling lost (both existentially and direction wise ) - food - warm fish of any kind!! - knowing, after you failed something/someone, that you could have done a better job! - people who never 'wake up' .. and just go through their life in a zombie state.. (I'll let Darque take care of them! hehe) - excessive stupidity!
  6. I have no intentions of buying or playing NWN2.. I'm on these boards for KOTOR2 .. somehow the gameplay really doesn't appeal to me!
  7. rumor has it he was payed 250.000
  8. had to edit when I realized it "wasn't allowed" to quote another movie .. from Lotr .. hmm maybe when Pippin is singing .. I just thought that was a perfect fit! scenes, sounds, angles .. the works!
  9. Kashmir - Lampshade! (just thinking about it gives me goosebumps! (or how ever you spell it) the only song with so many memories attached, that it brings tears to me eyes (happy) each time I hear it ..
  10. I would say NWN .. I bought the game the day it came out and after 20 minutes I was so bored I never touched it again .. or Lionheart .. same deal .. never got past Barcelona! tried several times! but I just get so bored that I feel a need to go to sleep after 20 minutes .. which is really strange, since I love playing games like Europa Universalis II where you can stare at the screen for 10 minutes without doing a thing ..
  11. hmm they do in my games .. all the time actually! I have never played a game where my navy didn't come in quite handy!! although we agree on the fact that armies are much much more important! but sea battles are a major factor in all of my playthroughs! (unless I'm Germania or the likes) but I like to have a strong navy and a strong army .. because it's much faster to sail your entire invasion to, say Egypt, instead of marching there!
  12. mine was in a thread about how a Sith Lord should be .. one said "Like Lector" and I replied .. on Sep. 29 2004, 2:50 PM "Definitely Lector .. the whole cannibalistisk thing would give an extra element to the dark evil of a Sith Lord! "
  13. I've tried being stuck at Charles De Gaulle for 18 hours .. that was seriously boring! then multiply that with 7786,7 .. jeez!

which kinda makes you think about the homo in another way! :D .. sorry had to say it! but why the pink?
  16. Now maybe you are familiar with the new movie "The Terminal" in which Tom Hanks plays a Eastern European man, stuck in JFK Airport .. his country in engulfed in a long civil war .. and suddenly his passport and his papers are no longer valid! thus he is denied acces to US soil .. and spends a looong time in the airport! well, I thought that was a pretty wierd plot too.. but I was quite astonished when I learned it was based on a true story .. and not just that .. a story about a guy, who till this day, has been stuck at Charles De Gaulle Aiport in France since 1988!! yes that's 16 years at an airport!!! try reading about it .. and get a good idea about how insane European bureaucracy can actually be: http://www.geektimes.com/michael/culture/r...i/stranded.html - Rosbjerg
  17. It's just because I thought that rule applied to music until some time ago, when I read about it, and discovered that copied music is illegal for any amount of time .. so I naturally assumed this applied to games as well! but maybe not, maybe that's why I heard that copied music was allowed for 24 hours .. because games was! guess I'll have to do my own research then!

I haven't personally .. but the "linguist" of our group has, amongst other books on the subject! I mainly handle geography! so the books I read in regards to this project is more geology related!

oh believe me .. I have!! Even went so far as creating my own world with a couple of friends .. we have 6 different speakable (and quite complex) languages already .. 2 of them are dervied and evovled from 3 others .. and of course we have all read Tolkien and use some of his work as inspiration .. meaning we take some words from actual languages on Earth and mix them, to create a foundation from which future words can be made.. - Rosbjerg
  20. Rome .. Risk? no not even close! .. have you played the other games in the series?? the map is a bit like Medieval, but now in 3d animation (you can't rotate but still) .. the main difference is that your armies now have move points .. so instead of moving from province to province pr turn you now march you armies through the land.. (and navies play much different and are much more important) and then it's just like the other games, there are provinces which are controlled by a single town, when you capture that town you capture the province! battles are now done in a great 3d, fully rotateable, enviroment and every unit is animated instead of being small blocks in 2d .. I think it's an absolutely great game! although in the very beginning it can seem a bit confusing .. it's more extensive in all aspects, but unfortunatly the ending suck noodles! very anti-climatic! but then again, all the Total War games was like this .. you just get a short (here even shorter) video and then boom .. done .. start over! but it's the battles and the management aspect that keeps you coming back .. and here Rome: Total War delivers without a doubt! the battles are absolutely great and the managment is just as good as any of the other games! so if you like Shogun or Medieval then Rome is the game for you!!
  21. yeah forgot about Europa Universalis II! that's a great game!! and that's talking about hard, that game really requires some devoted time to learn!!
  22. No I don't think it's legal to have a downloaded copy at all .. even if it's only 24 hours! but I admit I know nothing of it .. where did you get this information? or is it just something you've heard?

let us indeed hope that his fight and those of so many others before him are not forgotten .. and thrown away in stupidity and disregard for the thousands of generations that made this very moment possible .. let us hope that the generations to come will not destroy what have been built for them to expand and develop upon.. thanks for sharing his story .. - Rosbjerg og lad os h

Soulseeker .. how come you have "heja Sverige" in you sig? and it says your from Portugal!?
  25. "And I also have foud the AI in Civ III to be extreamly hard on the easiest level." with risk of sounding like a total jerk and showoff .. I find the easy levels .. well .. extremely easy!! Although I play the game quite extensively I would in no way consider myself particular good at it! (get utterly beaten in multiplayer with friends) are you just exaggerating to make a point?? though I do find it impossible on the second and highest difficulty!
