You dont have Snus in Denmark? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> in Danish 'snus' means sniff .. what exactly are you referring to?
-
have any of you seen - 'Manos' the Hands of Fate - 1966 ?? four of the actors invloved in the film comitted suicide the year it came out (all around the same time)! just to give you an idea of how bad this movie is..

^ so if I drive you over it's partially the cars fault? I smoke and drink .. and whatever I do under the influence of those or other substances .. Is my responsibility .. I never blame the objects always the person! so cheers Random evil guy! I'll have that beer with you!

I don't believe in any kind of religion (that includes science).. since they are all made by humans, and they (humans) have a tendency to be quite erroneous! but nonetheless .. religion is a fascinating subject, when taken with the same amount of significance as any other fairytale (again including science).. especially because you see how fabricated it all really is, when you start making cross-references to other close religions ..
-
^ indeed .. but then everything is a matter of faith ..

sad if I don't believe 100% in science .. why so? do you believe they have all the answers? they may strive for perfection of knowledge, and that is commendable, but they are hardly there yet .. true science is unimpeachable ehh .. no! we don't even know if any theory is right .. sure it seems like it we have some of the questions right .. but it's still just speculations! so to say that it is flawless!? we are standing in an endless void with nothing but a single torch .. and you are saying that we can guess everything right but looking at the wierd shapes in the darkness?

A guy came up to me in a bar this other day (this is not a joke) .. and said "the world will end in 5 months, it will start in America" .. maybe he wasn't as mad as I thought at the time!
-
no that is true .. for now .. But someday that will hardly be a problem (at least I would guess, if I believed it to be true)! There doesn't seem to be any room for "free will" anywhere .. even if a few strange particles behave unexpectedly .. which is why I don't believe 100% in science either ..

ahh .. but have you really read the chaos theory?? it states that there is an underlying order to chaos.. the only way we can describe it is "chaos", but that is simply because so many things are happening at once that we cannot forsee it! just because things are non-linear, does not mean they are unpredictable .. but you are right about Quantum Mechanics.. since that is the studies of non-deterministic systems! Still .. it seems likely that everything is following the rules of the universe.. even us!

^ "Time Travel to the future and back. This would prove to me that everything is pre-determined and god must exist for that to be possible." not at all .. If you believe heavily in science you should also believe in a predetermined future .. since everything in the universe follows a mathmatical pattern and physical laws .. so given enough knowledge, and according to currrent theories, we should be able to forsee the future if only had strong enough computers!

What era do most of your favorite titles come from
Rosbjerg replied to Zach Morris's topic in Computer and Console
Ahh.. so many great titles .. spanning over my entire life! Used to play "Defender of the Crown", "Supermario 3" or "Turtles 1/2" on the good old Nintendo .. I still have it, and play it more often than games on my PC .. :D but some of my favorite games are from the late 90'es .. especially during the end of the 'space-sim era' .. of course there are a good number of great titles from both before and after that 'era' .. but that was when I played the most and when games where most interesting to me.. -
I was a bit dissapointed about that too .. nothings better after a good day of idealistic healing, than to simple relish, both mentally and physically, in the blood of innocents! I'm sure Lisa Kudrow, and especially Calvin, would agree on that!

yeah .. nothing more cute than to see a halfnaked mermaid with it's head chopped off .. and a bunch of japanese turists looking very confused .. :D

1. Where did we come from (how did we get here as human beings)? Either life started somewhere else and was brought here (perhaps by asteroid or other means) or life started and evolved here .. I believe in nr 2 .. 2. What is the purpose of life (How do we know why we are here)? I don't believe in a divine purpose .. So that's really an individual question to me! 3. How should we live? in accordance with our beliefs and principles .. whatever they may be .. 4. What happens we when die? I have only seen darkness, so therefore I don't think anything will happen .. 5. How did you arrive at that conclusion? to all the above? I study human nature .. I watch, observe and learn .. and to number 4, I died once and was brought back, but without any 'divine' memories .. 6. What is your impression of Christians? Those I know here and around me, I respect for their faith .. it takes strenght these days to wear the face of religion .. but I am very sceptic towards fanatics of any kind, religious or otherwise .. 7. What, if anything, would change you views? if I observe something that makes me change my view ..

ha .. seems we got the same Laozi .. INFP - "The Healer Idealist" the first text was a decent enough attempt at describing me actually .. "Healer Idealists are abstract in thought and speech, cooperative in striving for their ends, and informative and introverted in their interpersonal relations. Healer present a seemingly tranquil, and noticiably pleasant face to the world, and though to all appearances they might seem reserved, and even shy, on the inside they are anything but reserved, having a capacity for caring not always found in other types. They care deeply-indeed, passionately-about a few special persons or a favorite cause, and their fervent aim is to bring peace and integrity to their loved ones and the world. "

Right so if I beat you senseless .. but you don't bleed .. it's not violence! lol

because they are making money .. I don't think producers care if the movie is rated as the baddest one ever made if they made a hefty profit .. and as long as he is providing profit they give him licences .. <_< ergo everyone stop seeing his films! stop renting them, stop even looking at their posters or pictures .. and spend every waking hour cursing them in public!

there you have my vote .. happy!? (oh and sorry for derailing the other post)

ah well okay .. I could imagine Finland was quite a scary place 1200 years ago .. seeing how scary it is today! I mean the sheer size of your mosquitos and then thinking about how many lakes you have, and thereby how many mosquitos there actually is!!

"Games make my life much happier." Yes it's a powerful tool of escapism .. and whenever we need to escape reality it's because something is wrong! and we are trying to avoid the issues of reality .. and you don't see that as a problem? I think it's rather serious to become addicted to escapism .. Now games as a means of simple entertainment is great! but when it becomes a necessity, that's when I get worried ..
-
hmm never heard of it .. sounds like it could be quite hilarious though ..
-
so that's when the whole "Is Volourn a girl, guy or a malicious cyborg sent from the future to destroy us all?" started!!
-
^ ah the thruth was you were all dirt poor and not even worth robbing!

eh .. I think he's asking if NWN2 is related to BG3 or will be in an expansion! to which I would reply .. "no"
