1. Where did we come from (how did we get here as human beings)? Either life started somewhere else and was brought here (perhaps by asteroid or other means) or life started and evolved here .. I believe in nr 2 .. 2. What is the purpose of life (How do we know why we are here)? I don't believe in a divine purpose .. So that's really an individual question to me! 3. How should we live? in accordance with our beliefs and principles .. whatever they may be .. 4. What happens we when die? I have only seen darkness, so therefore I don't think anything will happen .. 5. How did you arrive at that conclusion? to all the above? I study human nature .. I watch, observe and learn .. and to number 4, I died once and was brought back, but without any 'divine' memories .. 6. What is your impression of Christians? Those I know here and around me, I respect for their faith .. it takes strenght these days to wear the face of religion .. but I am very sceptic towards fanatics of any kind, religious or otherwise .. 7. What, if anything, would change you views? if I observe something that makes me change my view ..

because they are making money .. I don't think producers care if the movie is rated as the baddest one ever made if they made a hefty profit .. and as long as he is providing profit they give him licences .. <_< ergo everyone stop seeing his films! stop renting them, stop even looking at their posters or pictures .. and spend every waking hour cursing them in public!

ah well okay .. I could imagine Finland was quite a scary place 1200 years ago .. seeing how scary it is today! I mean the sheer size of your mosquitos and then thinking about how many lakes you have, and thereby how many mosquitos there actually is!!

"Games make my life much happier." Yes it's a powerful tool of escapism .. and whenever we need to escape reality it's because something is wrong! and we are trying to avoid the issues of reality .. and you don't see that as a problem? I think it's rather serious to become addicted to escapism .. Now games as a means of simple entertainment is great! but when it becomes a necessity, that's when I get worried ..

No, but it's definitely on my top 20 list .. Mostly because I was so suprised! I had not heard anything of it when I borrowed it from a friend .. and all other SW games are relatively so-so imo .. So I was pleasantly suprised to find a rather good game once playing! my top ten is reserved for nostalgic games of old ..

Only in the "winter war"? Do you forget 1941-1944? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there was more hack'n'slash over the winter war! kudos to Finland for that .. fighting, not only outnumbered, but also outgunned and against better equipment .. sure they got alot from Sweden (and Germany I think?) and others, but still .. maybe they just used megafones and yelled at the Russians .. I couldn't imagine anything more frightning than 10000+ ultra-loud finnish men ..

^ I think we can all agree that such a law is simply stupid .. My problem with violence in VG is like 213374U also stated earlier in this thread.. that if people become addicted to the games, they will lower their 'reality barriers' because they are exposed to it again and again .. it's like how we become immune to violence on TV .. it may not result in more crimes .. but it will result in more apathy!

Sure, it looks more normal, and you don't have strange symbols .. and I can understand just fine thank you! but it's just one big mix of French, English some German and a dash of Danish! and I saw you posting, so I edited my own ..

hey it's better than that hack-fest called Suomi! sounds more like a guy choking that talking .. I mean "Ugric" that just tells you a bit about the culture there! " And Mkreku if you had asked; "why do all danes, from west jutland, talk as if they have their mouths full of porridge" we could begin to agree .. besides swedish has it's share of obscure dialects too!! and what about Dutch now that we are talking about difficult .. huh Ludozee?? hehe

^ no flaming .. but I absolutely adored that game (still play it regularly) .. Shogun was the best strategy game of it's time imo .. simple because the level of control! but I know what you mean, it had to play on easy for a long time before I could even survive for more than 20 minutes! :D and I remember Bg3 was quite a blow as well .. but Freespace .. I can still feel sad when I think back ..
