I got 133 at spread 15 .. just reaching Mensa level! wee! lol .. I think the US uses spread 24! which would give a you about 120 something if you get 110 on a spread 15 .. I always find these tests rather amusing .. since they only show how logical you think! which is only a small part of your actual intelligence! but they are great fun, since you really have to think in different and alternative patterns ..

totally disregarding the fact that these test are completly unreliable .. It is time to show your worth! (all in good fun) http://www.IQtest.dk (don't worry it's in English, Spanish and German as well) let's see if you have the brain to back up your arguments! good luck! Rosbjerg out .. ps. This test is the one they use at Mensa.dk and is based on "Raven's advanced progressive matrices" or the RAPM test ..

^ I think SG-1 has gotten better .. but unfortunatly they are running out of new things to do .. I mean next time a new enemy will be introduced, who is more powerful than all the last, it would actually have to be some kind of God! but I love their irony, and the fact that they aren't taking themselves all that serious .. with that said however, I don't think the show should continue after season 9 .. because they are milking it dry as we speak .. I would then like to recommend Battlestar Galactica one more time! since it is without a doubt the best Sci-fi show I have seen .. and there is no question about the darker theme, as in the introducing movie, the heroes leave almost 10.000 behind to get slaugthered (including a little girl we got introduced to earlier), because they must save their own (and 40.000 other thousands) hides .. it's a show with heavy emphasis on moral choices, ethics (through religion) and the essentials of human nature (perhaps to a higher degree the more 'divine' and philosophical human nature .. such as the pursuit of freedom, meaning of exsistence and such).. while interestingly the more 'primitive' human nature is presented through the human created Cylons .. As I said earlier, it feels more like one long 'continuous' movie than a series .. of course it's not all good, there are some bad apples amongst the actors, and some bad perfomances! they tend to reuse the same animated sequences from time to time .. and while the story is interesting now (after season 1 with 13 episodes and 1 movie) I don't think it's actually going to keep being this interesting for much more than 3 seasons (4 at the most).. so if they stop at season 3 and give it a good finale, it will be one of the best made shows ever imo .. - Rosbjerg

my that is quite obsessive ... never heard of compulsive behaviour manifested in a VG before .. interesting!

wow .. that is some serious ice-coverage .. that car isn't going anywhere anytime soon!
-
hey I was right! cool .. :D yep that seems like it's taking some inspiration from Musashi .. seems interesting, thanks for the link D ..

Legend of the Five rings? let me guess .. a japanese Samurai setting?? because it sounds like the famous samurai Miyamoto Musashi book "Book of Five Rings" ..

I would get physically ill if KOTOR II was in Danish .. there's no greater pleasure that playing a game, reading a book, watching a movie etc. in the original language! but to answer your question, same as Karftan, if it's not planned now, it probably never will be! unless some polish guys makes a translated copy!? I heard that happens from time to time!

are you a personal friend of his? because you almost seem to be taking this personally .. While yes, your guy did a fantastic and unbelivable unselfish job, I'm just saying that there is alot of competition when looking at the entire world .. and so what if Fleming stumbled upon it (even though he was throwing the things out he was still researching), if he hadn't, people would be dying from simple infections all day every day .. and why not thank Mendel then, who actually made Norman's work possible .. what I'm saying is, there are alot of things to take into account .. and one can't really say "this man is the greatest in the world" because what he did depended on so many others achievements before him!
-
^ all though you nomination was very good .. I think that "the worlds greatest" will go to someone else .. even though he saved millions, there are some pretty huge achievements to compete with on a world-wide scale .. I meanAlexander Fleming's penicillin have saved it's share of millions as well!!

hey! We Danish hated them first!! I think we should have some credit for that .. even fought alot of wars with 'em .. ahh those were the days (aside from that time when they totally invaded us and took all of our swedish possesions!) hmm it would seem God is on your side for now .. the site is down ..

Yes Eru I agree completly! it's one of the best Sci-fi shows I have seen .. mostly because there are no compromises .. People just die if they make a mistake! I don't really see it as a series but more like a very long, good, movie! and Plooby, I will .. I can rent Firefly in the nearby Blockbuster, so I will pick that up sometime .. and seems like I have to tjeck out Farscape as well! kirottu, I've seen some of the Cowboy Bepop episodes, but they never really hooked me .. but they seemed fairly good otherwise .. everyone; thanks for all the good advice so far! it seems I have missed alot! and now I have something to do this cold winter .. watch endless episodes of Sci-fi .. what a good way to start a year! :D
-
^ and the occasional super-geek, you need, because he has all the extra edition books!
-
no I can see how that would be rather confusing .. you have to see the start of it all! the two part (3 hours) mini series .. there everything is explained .. (well everything that goes in the first episodes anyway)

Amanda also said he was a lousy Macgyver in an episode .. because he couldn't fix something .. and I have forgotten all about his hair in those old episodes .. so shh!!

What a great year of gaming ahead of us
Rosbjerg replied to Craftsman's topic in Computer and Console
hey yeah we need an Alpha Centauri 2!! you never found out what happened to Earth! -
indeed he does .. I also like how they make small references to it once in a while!
-
hmm actually that sounds like an old 80 sci-fi show .. where a single astronaut get's hurled through a time portal of some sort .. and ends up in the year 2400- something .. can't remember exatly what happened through the show, but it would seem farscape borrowed a little from that! I once saw a Babylon-5 film I think, now that I think about it .. where humans where getting totally beaten by another race .. because they didn't know of their customs (something about greeting a new enemy/friend/whatever with all weapons loaded to show your hands or something) .. all being told by some king/emperor of a dying world .. I always like when people are getting annihilated apperantly (like in Battlestar Galactica), because I thought that film was rather good ..
-
I watched it alot (X-Files) when I was younger .. but I stopped around season 6 I think .. it became a little repetative imo .. Can't remember much of it, but I thought it was a great show back then when it started.. I've actually only heard good things about Farscape .. so I was a little bit curious about it .. but it doesn't air on any channels I have, so I have never seen it ..
-
I've only tried that wierd one where they pi** and sh** over each other .. that was freaky! I didn't even know what a hentai game was .. a friend gave it to me and said it was a cool anime game .. broke off all contact with him ever since! :D

I love evey episode! the humor is so absurd .. really my absolute favorite Cartoon! that and Futurama .. But Invader Zim is much much more fun! it baffles me to think how complex these childrens/teen cartoons have become! I mean when I was a kid it was Heman, Bravestar, Thundercats, Transformers and all that .. heavy on the morale and not really in deep story! I remember a episode in Bravestar where the ultimate bad guy orders a soda in a bar .. that just says something about the maturity! lol
-
^ so what do you think of Atlantis? to me it's really without any kind of charisma! and just feels like a total rip-off .. the only thing good about it is the superb graphics! but it's SG-1 all over again! but the biggest problem with all of SG is just the inconsistencies! I mean they are horrific!

I've never been the biggest fan of either Buffy nor Angel .. but two episodes made me laugh my a$$ off! the one in Buffy where they sing all the time .. and one in Angel where he's turned into a puppet .. hilarious! and Jaguar .. I've followed Sg-1 from the beginning! and while it's immature at times Richard D. is the funniest guy! he's the only reason I watch the show .. the interactions between him and Christopher during the last couple of seasons have been extremely well written (simple but good) and just plain fun!
