I'm definitely getting this game .. but it won't be out in Denmark until november 4th! from all I've read the game seems quite impressive, but I feel a bit ambivalent about the handling of the techtree, with no specific epochs as far as I understand .. and the fact that the Civipedia (as mentioned above) is trimmed a bit.. which is negible, so I think I'll love it! ^_^

You are hereby my official spokesman! ^_^ but yeah, like the article points out, I'm more worried about the misuse of the technology .. based on the fact that the device creates a feeling of "need" to go in one direction, it's hard to argue with your intuition and need of balance, which will make the control of humans quite easy!

Its not actually original Absinth, that is illegal everywhere except in certain 3rd world countries where they dont even know what it is and have bigger issues to worry about. Its illegal because it contained ludicrously high amounts of a substance called "Tujon"(from the wormwort) which is similar to cannabis. Todays Absinth contains only a fraction of that substance and not nearly enough to cause hallucinations or delirium(that real absinth did) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> this was the original .. I was seeing green colours (and various other things) for days after I had about 16cl of it .. and you could taste the malurt/tujon! but I know it's illegal in Europe, it was in the Chezch Republic as well .. but they still had it in certain shops!

yeah .. which is silly I guess .. it's just the small part of me that still believes in free will, which has a problem with the potential misuse of the device! But tricking someone that way just seems to inhumane to me .. since you are messing with intuition, the need of balance etc ..

yeah but you aren't being tricked .. it's a real feeling, the other is provoked by humans .. which makes it a very different thing imo

about language .. I always laugh when Swedes insult Danish .. you guys sound like castrated children with your highstrung "singing" ..
