and Sweden has big problem with the fact that they were literally owned by Denmark for quite a few years .. while the opposite was never true! and the fact that we understand swedish and you don't understand us kinda makes me think that Danes are better at languages .. and since you take the time to insult us on numerous occasions tells me that you care quite a bit! ^_^ but you do have a more diverse country .. I'll give you that.. I miss mountains.. but then again all the ice scraped the best off Sweden and Norway and made our little kingdom.. I find some comfort in that.. and the fact that more Swedes visit Denmark than vice versa .. apparantly we have more to offer?? (cheap alcohol hehe)

I still believe that it's a matter of perception .. in order to comfortably percieve the world we need a coherent (or not so chorent) system of catagorizing input .. so we build up elaborate religions, doctrines, dogmas and systems of science to be able to process the unexplained .. to label the alien surroundings we haven't grown comfortable with yet and catagorize them into small boxes we can "safely" percieve .. it's a "need" because otherwise we would spend all of our time trying to figure out what is what .. like babies do.. this explains why old people are so conservative as well .. they have simply gorwn too accustomed to their particular world view ..

To be without you need (that word again) a very specific frame of mind .. just try to percieve the world around you neglecting indoctrinated system of catagorizations! it's pretty hard .. ^_^

can't you be secure without a belief? It seems to be a necessity, since we all do it to a degree .. I think it's related to how we percive the world, the human mind works in symbols .. and culture/religion/science etc gives us tools to interpret foreign symbols .. thus making us able to comfortably percieving the world around without having to think too hard..

we all need ideas or an ideology to cling to .. be it science, religion or a nihilistic approach! It's human nature to interpret our surroundings .. and apparantly also catagorizing it into a dogmatic world view..

I don't think it is because we insist .. but because it is what we do, incorporate others views into our own, but in doing so change them to fit into what we believe is "true" .. So it's simply a matter of perspective, we can't understand exactly each others frame of mind, because we are limited to our own .. That would be the ultimate test (from a religious viewpoint) wouldn't it .. being punished, in a way, for goodness - would you still be virtous? one of the oldest moral questions ..

I tend not to think about it .. I just live, take risks when I feel (important word) it's necessary .. I live my life on instincts and intuition! and I don't give a **** about what others sees as healthy .. and it seems to be working cause I'm in good pshycal condition! I travel when I feel like it.. work with things I like for as long as I like them and do what I wanna do, as long as my intuition tells me I'm doing good.. the only thing holding me back is economy, which makes me hate money .. I would love to be able to do everything I want whenever I want to .. but that's just not possible.. and I accept that fact and try to live my life regardless. with what I have.. I'm pretty sure I'll die relatively young (under 60).. but I'm also sure I'll be ready for it when it comes!

I hate: People who think they are better/funnier/smarter (and so on) than everyone else .. when they clearly aren't! double standards! bullies who physically or pschylogically abuse others and/or weak individuals.. (and pity for those who get bullied and are unable to stand up for themselves) the fact that we as a society seem to treat our problems with pills, and so end up only treating the symptoms, instead of dealing with the real issues behind it! That people more often look at apperances rather than the person and then judge them accordingly .. I mean how can you hate someone for having darker or lighter skin than you? I can't comprehend the extensive stupidity it must require!! and many other things .. but those are my top 5
