I think he's brilliant, Im gonna be just like him when I grow up :D In fact Ive often fantazised about having a talkshow where I invite celebrities and insult them deeply and bitterly on a personal level. Like: But seriously, he's only saying out loud what most of us is already thinking. And a lot of the people he's attacking deserve what they're getting(the celebrities atleast) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure I think they are nerds .. and I find it equally tragic to stand in line for a week to see a movie, but their actions don't affect me, they don't insult me and basically nerds are pretty harmless people .. I can easily take a joke on my expense, because I'm able to answer for myself, but I hate when people attack those who can't .. and go berate the local badasses in a bar and you'll see a different outcome .. and I find them more tragic (the violent drunk people) so why not make fun of them? because they'll beat the living crap out of you.. and what have celebrities done? now you are being a typical scandinavian but they are a easy target, and most of them are intelligent people who can take a joke and snap back in a responsible way.. so I really don't have a problem with talkshow hosts taking a shot at their guests ..

I think it's the spikes that makes a morning star what it is.. since they resemble a small sun/star ..

Never seen it .. but I doubt it's as interesting, since it reveals the point in the beginning then .. and it's not that hard to keep track of the film in the first place! Yeah, they probably will .. but I do know some hardcore SW fans who have refused to watch both Episode II and probably III as well ..

it's funny .. but sometimes he crosses a line imo .. you can clearly see that some of these people aren't particularly adept at standing up for themselves .. and I'm not a big of a fan of punching people in soft spots when they can't defend themselves..

I'm saying you can't compare, unless you believe in a common reality and thus ceartinties to which you can compare things .. that the only thing I can be certain of, is my interpretation of reality and it's not certain if you compare it to the common reality (but to me it's real). my argument this entire time has been, in order for you to rely on anything outside of your head you need a leap of faith .. since you don't know and you can't see, hear, feel etc anything but your own reality .. sorry for dragging that into the light .. but I just wanted to clear that up .. The only mods I found (that were used on internet servers) included all kinds of ships from Sci-fi film and series like Star Wars and Star Trek .. which had absolutely no place in Freelander imo! + none of them had any ships in the design of the houses' ships! which made it even more stupid .. so I gave up on it after a very short while ..

everyone I've met has been the easy going hippie kind .. even those Jesus-Freak-T-shirt-people .. just wanting to talk about their faith and hoping that I will see the light some day in my own time .. but then we shoved all the bad ones to USA, so no wonder they are more extreme over there .. hehe

I'm not saying it doesn't work .. but that you need to believe in the framwork, and in the apperant reality, for science to have any merit ..and this to me, is the same as believing in God (fundamentally) .. so it's not worthless or loses any value based on the fact that it is uncertain! it merly requires a leap of faith .. that's all I'm saying! that you shouldn't hold science as some sort of infallible entity, but regard it with a healthy degree of skepticism and see if it fits into your own world view!

True, but I disagree with the idea that if a person decides that what we call a dog is to him a cat, it is truely a cat in his reality. In fact, he is just ignorant, or suffering from a mental disorder. There has to be absolute truth, in my opinion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well what *is* that absolute thruth then? that the cat or dog exist? how do you know for 100% certainty? they are both a bunch of atoms fused togehter? 99% of the creature and everyting is in reality nothing .. is it based on what you see, hear or feel? if I strip away all your senses .. what is reality then??

I'm going to repeat myself here .. sorry for that .. but it seems like I'm really bad at formulating myself .. When I see a dog, I see what my minds interpret as a dog .. and so do you, if we are then to talk about this specific object, we must assume/believe that we are seeing the same thing .. so in our common reality, we have to believe that we are seeing the same thing in order to even have a converstation, otherwise we would need to explain our entire perspective each time we use a different symbol .. and since language is symbols as well.. you can see it would be quite impossible! so I believe in reality, and our reality .. but I can't be sure that it's real, I only assume so ..

I didn't .. I agree that within it's own system, science just is .. and when you view math within it's own seperate system it just is .. no proof required .. but if you try to apply it to the so called reality belief is required imo .. I don't doubt what I see .. because to me it's real .. but I doubt what I see if I must explain it in a context to what we percieve as a common reality ..
