LION-O!! he was so cool! I used to watch He-man, Thundercats and Bravestar when I was a kid .. all in English .. and the 5 min. moral lesson at the end was hilarious .. I still have alot of the episodes on tape today .. and I still laugh my ass of when one of the badguys in Bravestar orders a "double soda .. no ice!" :D And while the both Thundercats and He-man was about fundamental morals .. Bravestar was also about how weapons were necessary, but children should learn to respect them! it's both tragic, absurd and extremely funny at the same time .. but sometimes I miss the moral in modern cartoons .. in a way I think they may be to complex for children to fully understand! it seems cartoons these days are tailored for an older generation or maybe kids are much smarter than I think?

But if girls run around naked from 18-36 .. none of them will wear bras through the most important years (in regards to development) of their life! you know what that will lead to! ... not a pretty sight!

160 km for the first and 600 for the second?? huh .. the second was built on the ruins of the old, so they decided to keep the burned-out-half-destroyed-look, for aesthetical reasons, as they almost quadrupled its size?

No, it actually means "Oll Korrect" - a deliberate misspelling. It was invented in the early 1900's by a journalist and reinforced by president Van Buren "Old Kinderhook". http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=8&q=ok Really, the **** some people make up. I bet more than 3/4 of this thread is nonsense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hihi .. Hmm someone told me that piece of information, maybe I should have researched it a bit .. but then again, this info *is* useless!! so incorrect and useless only adds to the flavour! " but anyway, thanks for clearing that up then!

I've always been amased at how people view 'THE LAW' it's like it has taken a religious size on it's on .. more like, we serve the law than the law serves us! I think on a level people have forgotten that we live in democratic nations and view themselves as something apart from it .. You can see it in the way people talk about it, like it's a different entity! Society is something 'out there' not in here, in the living room or the kitchen .. strange indeed .. we have alienated society, laws and democracy!

exactly Scrogdog! which was my point .. to shed some light on the subject, I think too many are simply accepting it because it's illustrated logically .. but without all the data we can never know for sure! I don't believe we are causing the current effects .. but we are influencing it! I mean even though it's only 1% it still has an effect, but we need to be more realistic and more precise .. I'm not saying we should pollute away, but I just want governments to stop using The Greenhouse theory as an escape goat to pull away attention from bigger problems! and the fact that they are making money on it by taxation (in Denmark) makes it even worse imo..

Seems like I should read up on my DnD alignments again .. ^_^ But I think your right a Good Neutral then .. with a tendency to Chaotic from time to time .. and Laozi .. It seems more like you'r Chaotic Neutral!

I AM THE GRIETEST! .. and now I will leave for no apperant raison! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Grietest??? I need to look that one up... There's no raison for you to leave? Then I'd hold out for the plumbs! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Futurama .. The day the Earth stood stupid ..

yeah, why listen to scientists who actually know what they're talking about, when we have geniuses like yourself telling us otherwise... i mean, it is not 100% certain. let's just say "screw the environment". what happens, happens... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just want you to think for yourself .. guess that's too much to ask for? I provided you with alot of information and a link to page where 17000+ scientists are claiming that The Greenhouse Theory is an exaggeration and that indications are that a higher concentration of CO

Deus ex Machina: the Will of The Force ...

Well, atheism is just another creed to me. The sentence I quoted is as much a dogma as the immortality of the spirit. People who wield a dogma as a counter to another dogma always bring up a chuckle with me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well that's how it usually works .. most people need system to work out a choerent world view, it's bloody tiresome to rebuild everything from the ground! And I don't have anything against anyone who believes in a system, as long as they recognize that their's is not the only "thruth" .. and that such a thing is subjective! (which is imposing my views on others .. well I guess we all have double standards! ) Indeed. People who claim to use logic to explain things that logic was never meant to explain strike me as either extremely arrogant, or extremely narrowminded. I don't know what's worse. However, I don't like the idea of "anything goes" very much, either. I choose to think that science is enough to explain the limited parcel of reality that we perceive (even if it's not as we perceive it), and then some. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I'm not going for a "anything goes" kinda perspective either .. I just found science and logic inadequate to explain reality properly! so I went looking elsewhere.. -
But don't hold your breath!

no .. because I still belive in doing good or evil .. I want a good society, and I want to help others! and as far as I understand neutral it's more about what works than how it works ..

Deus ex Machina: the Will of The Force ...
Rosbjerg replied to metadigital's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
yet people always seem to apply the rules of Science on everyting in our world .. God does not exist, there is no proof! where's the scientific data? There is no meaning of life! we have no free will, since everything behaves according to ceartin rules we can't escape (no need to quote Quantum Physics/Mechanics, I've read it, but people use this argument alot) .. we trap ourselves in logic boxes, killing some creative thoughts and human values .. and that's where I say no ..
