The funny things thread Part 2
Actually a funny and good time-wasting exercise.. 1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. 3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover. Liverpool Cheese Company.. I imagine this is British indie rock..

Provocative fashion..
In the newest issue of Vogue, 6 year old girls are dressed up as adults and the sexual subtext is pretty obvious. It's a trend that has been ongoing for some time, from beauty pageants to children designer clothes. I think it's disturbing, but Vogue might just want to start a debate (and sell some magazines).. Cadeaux means gift/present

Yahtzee reviews
Several of my friends have bought the game and they all praise it quite highly - I think if you enjoy mindless violence against the undead and don't care much for story then it's the perfect game.

What are you playing now?
You just reminded me of a very interesting MMO that got cancelled.. SEED, where the only content was player contet. Much like "A Tale In The Desert". It would've been interesting.. Damn you Walsh! I actually wanted to play that game

Yahtzee reviews
Well at least 2 Danish games are on - even if one of them is the worst of the year.

Movies you've seen recently
I didn't see any Christian theme in it. If anything it was buddhism but more in line with spirituality in general with all the books Flynn had on his bookcase. The religious subtext is even more so in the first movie such as when the old guy says to Dillinger that their (the programmers) spirits are in every program they create. And Dillinger says he doesn't want to have religious discussions with him. There are numerous examples. There was always a religious subtext to the original Tron in how the Programmers were regarded with respect to the Programs. It doesn't change that there is a creator & creation angle in both movies. I felt Tron Legacy deflected the spritiual side of things better than the first movie given the post modern times we live in. Well yeah, there were quite a few "Zen" moments - but the whole "Father the creator, Son the liberator" felt very Christian. I've yet to see the original, in light of that the overall Zen of it was probably lost to me I guess.

Movies you've seen recently
Yeah, saw it yesterday and I quite liked it as well (bad ass soundtrack).. What keeps it from being great imho is the very Christian theme, the lead character's bad acting and the transparent plot. Although I did found the subtle endorsement of piracy quite interesting.

What you did today
Hah, wild adventures are great - good to see that you have the balls to just jump on a plane and let the current take you along for what ever ride it has in mind. Those are the most memorable journeys! I envy you, it's been way too long since I did something like that.

STEAM!
It was only the equvilant of 2 hours of work anyway for all four copies.. so I'll manage, but they have a similar taste in games as me, so I'm not overly worried.

- Don't ask Don't tell anyone about the repeal
Really?- Don't ask Don't tell anyone about the repeal
It's good to see that this came through - homosexuals usually take excellent care of their body, so they make physically topnotch soldiers.- "Prohibition has failed"
I agree completely - I think drugs are horrible, but I would rather see it in the hands of pharmacies than drug dealers.. sure, the worst of both only care about the money, but at least the pharmacy would be worried about future business.- In memory of Kelverin
It's a comfort to know that he accepted the possibility, which means that he most likely had time to say a proper goodbye to his family - it hurts like hell when someone that close to you dies, but the fact that he was ready and had very few regrets will really help his family in the long run. That would be nice, if we could send our condolence to his family..- What are you playing now
Europa Universalis III Divine Wind.. I never could muster the will to play EU III because the graphics really insulted my aesthetic sense - but the visual upgrades are great and I absolutely adore the game.- What you did today
You feel fine after a "julefrokost"? .. obviously you didn't drink enough snaps or had enough casual sex with co-workers in the copy room. This is the only explanation.- What are you playing now
I meant the short cut under the "game library" tap (where all your games are) in steam, it's called "Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms". I just didn't want to write the whole thing down... but yeah, just using the batch file also works. Is it good?- U.S. Epic Fail
Yeah this doesn't really serve much of a purpose.. - What you did today
