  1. Well prepare for 1:3 kill to death ratio when you start mulitplayer.. but being a cautious non-FPS'er might actually help you. At least, it's a game where charging the enemy heroically always just ends with you killed. So being cautious and planning ones' approach is vital to early survival.
  2. No, it's his fault - but instead of simply using money on keeping him locked away - maybe it would be cheaper in the long run to help him? as it stands now the problem has simply been exported and now a new town has to pay for officers wasting time on him.
  3. I've been playing a lot of swedish games lately (battlefield, Magicka etc) I have to say - I'm getting a little envious at how much our northern borthers are owning us when it comes to making games..
  4. It's pretty sad that there was nothing in place that could help him, rather than just arrest him.. It's counterproductive to simply put the guy in jail, he obivously needs a lot of therapy.
  5. I've added both of you on steam.
  6. No, it's much much more action oriented - and the mechanics are a little wonky. Swat 4 is still the best coop game in that genre imo.
  7. Let's play a round some day hurlie - I have the game as well.
  8. The "Ikean" method..
  9. I have like 30 boxes of Lego in my parent's attic .. as a kid I build an entire city with my brother, we spend 2 months on it. It looked kinda like this: I didn't know Lego was this popular in the rest of the world.. cool..
  10. Choices and consequences in Freedom Fighters mostly revolve around the order in which you complete missions if I recall. In one mission I think you could do a frontal assault on an important base, while they are unaware, but then they'd call in reinforcements and airsupport if you took too long.. You could've taken out the reinforcements and air support first, but that would've alert the base. So it's more like doing side mission to alleviate the main missions. I don't remember any ground breaking C&C build up at least.
  11. Music wise I'd bring: Beethoven, especially the 7th symphony - more specific? Debussy's Samuel Barber's Edvarg Grierg's Morgenstimmung. The Knife Bon Iver Cliff Martinez First Sleep Kashmir It's 50% classical because it's the only kind of music I can hear on repeat without going insane. The other songs are to remind me of good times.
  12. It made me think of Fallout as well, but a fallout universe taking it's premise from the melancholy of our times instead.. it's just so unrelentingly depressing - important film though.
  13. I was dissapointed in E:TW until mods fixed it somewhat.. this time I'll wait a month for the first semicoherent user reviews to trickle in. I'm just crossing fingers for much better mod support, I've never really enjoyed a TW game without 'em.
  14. Would people stop spamming in Kaftan and Nightshape's discussion?
  15. You just lost a devotee!
  16. I was browsing through the web when suddenly a giant ad popped up.. That didn't surprise me nearly as much as the model in it. It was a women I had some intimate relations with, about a year ago. Incidentally I had just played a game where her name was used (it's a bit unusual) so I had just thought about her, strange world of small coincidences. Feels good to be able to say that I've been with a model..
  17. I've been playing "Fate of the World" - this game is addictive and extremely difficult.. you basically have to save the planet - carefully balancing the need for and supply of oil while moving the world towards better energy solution. Using bio-fuel to meet the demand almost always causes massive hunger (in one game the world population dropped to 1 billion because of war and hunger). At the same time the developing nations go bankrupt if you don't alleviate their problems and the following deforestation causes almost complete ecological collaps... jeez, I don't like our chances! Pre-ordering gives you access to a full working beta, which some minor bugs.. It's a damn good game.
  18. No need to be so modest Walsh - bask in the glory of having devotees.
  19. Here you go..
  20. would make sense.
  21. sooo is really watching the Fed? that's nice..
  22. haha .. wow.. stealing military tech, that's low. I thought China had enough dough to buy the American navy if it wanted.
