The thing I like about Christmas is that its the one time all my old friends go back to my hometown and we get to catch up with each other.

To me fundamentalist christians believe the bible to be exactly God's word. That women experience pain during childbirth because Eve took the apple from the tree and gave it Adam. That the the world is roughly 12,000 years old. That the bible condemns homosexuality, which it doesn't. Things like this. The problem is when you take these quaint traditions, and superstitions and try and apply them to everyone else under the sun. I'm really feel sorry that same-sex marriage and evolution make mid-westerners feel icky, but those are the breaks. I don't particuliarly like that schools teach sex-education, but I understand that some parents, for whatever reason, feel like it needs to be taught there so you just let it go.

Ya theres nothing like wrestling. To see two sweaty combatants wearing skin tight outfits grabbing on to each other until one overpowers the other and lies on top of him while he's in total submission, his hot breath on the back of his neck. Yep, and those interviews between fights, where the average citizen gets a real glimpse into 'roid rage and what ever happened to that kid who was 6 foot tall in 6th grade and dropped out. Oh ya. That being said, I am a little dissapointed about how "soft" the NHL is. I was a big Cam Neely fan growing up as well, and the physicality of the game as always enhanced the play. I really hope that the NHL takes a number from the NBA in how they call hand-checks and physical play under the basket pretty tight early into the season, but once teams get established in their offense they slowly allow teams to get more physical. Right now the NHL is to pee-weeish.

As a kid I remember being really really really excited about the Infinite Gauntlet comics and I always was a Green Lantern fan even after the whole Hal Jordan finasco. The last comics I really got into for a bit was 300, Preacher, Astro City and Ascension, so you can see for the most part it has been a while.

I had heard that Lucas's next effort is to totally ruin the Indiana Jones franchise which I'm extremely confident he can do. As for the next Star Wars movie its suppose to be a musical.

I see no reason why two crappy elements in Star Wars can't be combined. His existance doesn't seem any less plausable then Exar Kun's in Jedi Academy novels. As long as they are letting Stackpole and Anderson write novels, and George Lucas's neck keeps making movies then the Star Wars mythos can continue to be utter crap. As for the shamelessness of the Devs, I've seen worse.

My eyes bleed for Tron World

The Blackhawks seem to have potential, unfortantly they have a real knack for shotting themselves in the foot. As for Khabibulin, he's good and hes doing a good job lately of limiting rebounds, but you still need good defensemen to cut down the angles on those shot, until that happens his great efforts are for not.
