Italy was playing great for 75 min, then they started taking off Cassano, Del Piero (who played well). Then things went downhill after that. The Italian midfield had great balance and things were going great till the last 10 mins. Hope they can qualify now. Italy actually have to go out with all guns blazing since goal difference is important now. Best result would be either Sweden or Denmark win, Italy win and they squeak through in 2nd and goal difference doesn't count. Of course, Sweden and Denmark could go safety-first route ending up with a cagey draw. How did Vieiri miss 4 headers?

I'd like to see different fighting styles that you could learn and be visually and practically different. Maybe Sith use more agressive forms, maybe the length of the blade factors in (strong defense on dual-kodachi, reach/sweeping arcs with longer blades, quick movements with short ones etc) etc. Maybe some combo with hand combat (kicks, elbows, headbuts, sweeps etc) used alongisde lightsabers. Alas, engine and resource constraints make this unlikely. For the actual lightsaber itself, I hope the customisable hilts have an effect on its properties and aren't just aesthetic. I've always liked a black blade that's suitable for stealth. Edit: To go along with the different lightsaber forms, each form would have their unique moves, especially the ultimate move. When the ultimate move is used and there's a kill, the screen could fade out etc and make a drama thing (complete with shouting out ultimate move's name).

Damn it, Italy managed to screw themselves over again. If Moreno's not around to join the fun, it's something stupid like this. Well, at least Trap will be able to squeeze in either Cassano (preferbly) or Fiore then push Del Piero into his preferred centre.

I was reading the Sandman comics over the past week, so I'm a little more inclined to such stuff lately. Death (of the Endless) looks pretty interesting, could the character suitable customisable heads and clothes like that? Edit: Some of the new screenshots on IGN have an interesting looking lady. Also lots of body piercing != goth chick. That's just possiby shrapnel.

Yeah, me too! It will be a blast to watch! Zlatan, Ljungberg, Larsson against the likes of Cannavaro and Nesta.. Geez! I still consider Italy as having the best football defenders in the world. Will be fun to see if our offensive force can breach that Italian granite wall. Unstoppable force vs unmovable object and all that. In reality though, the Italian defence looked creaky at times and they didn't keep the ball well. Didn't see the Sweeden match, though they're definitely the highest scorers in a generally low-scoring competition. However, the Swedish team doesn't have the quality of the top teams (not saying they aren't good, which they are). With the way the "favourites" have been playing, there's no telling what'll happen though.

I'm waiting for Italy vs Sweeden. I hope they play Cassano, Fiore and Pirlo (or Gattuso) from the start though.

Personally I'd like to dual-wield medium length (between normal and short lightsabers) blades, almost like kodachi. Because of the speed and more control over the blade, it offers very strong defence and speed. However, attacking power isn't as strong as single blades used with two hands, and of course there's a slight range disadvantage. However, they'd still be better than short swords.

I'd like to see a mild use of Force Persuade in conversations. Remember how Palpatine always stokes someone's ego to make them see his view? Ie "someday you will be the strongest of all Jedi". Pride leading to resentment is placed in Anakin, and he works towards Palpatine's goals on his own without much further monitoring. Instead of being blatant and saying "you will do this", do something like praise the person and suggest things that would suit your cause (instill ambition, resentment to leaders/organisations) then reinforce it by making that person feel good by Force Persuade. That way it would be easier than comletely overriding that person's ethics and it would give the person longer-lasting reasons to aid you. Instead of a one-off thing, the NPC would continue striving towards that direction where you prompted him/her. It might give you a useful ally which could turn out later in the game, giving the player the feel that their action earlier on made a difference. This subtle prompting might give a malaevolent and cunning feel to the Dark side, which is what it's all about. Sith = cunning (after all, they're 2 against the whole Jedi), which is what it's all about.

Yes. Different cultures would have different interpretations of weapons, so it wouldn't be odd for different races/alien cultures to have curved weapons. As for the actual physics, I don't know how they'd create a curved energy blade. I think the ultimate (taking things to extremes) would be a kind of lightsaber whip. Imagine - the Sith lord would have a wicked red lightsaber whip thing, which could whip round block attempts. Since a touch is all that's needed to cut, conventional defences against whips wouldn't work well.

I'm guessing that's because the shelled kind's weight (that's how it's measured, right?) is pure seeds, whereas the unshelled kind's weight includees the shell. You'd be getting more seeds from the shelled (ie eat more), plus of course they're processed more (shelled). However a lot of ppl I know get sunflower seeds just to do something - ie keep themselves busy. If I had the shelled seeds then I'd be shovelling them into my mouth and they'd be finished ini no time.

Does a dev work on one character through, or does the whole team chip in various parts for each character? Which approach do you guys prefer?
