The essay was well written, but I would have preferred if the author mentioned the main drawbacks of hemp and maybe some ways to address them. The main drawback I see is that the biomass is going to be pretty bulky (essay mentioned it being so bulky that they needed local processors) and it'll be hard to transport. I think they mentioned it being comparable to coal in terms of efficiency and burning. Might be useful for power generators to replace coal. Also there's the issue of climate I guess. IIRC the PHillippines are the largest producers, so only certain parts of the US would have suitable (let alone good) weather for hemp. I dunno.

I'm wondering if the advantages are worth the disadvantages. For advantages, I guess your bones are stronger, unbreakable? Disadvantages can be pretty significant. Can your muscles cope with the extra weight? Hopefully the bones (and the marrow etc) can keep producing whatever they produce (white/red blood cells etc) and can transfer them through the metal etc. Hopefully nutrients can get to the bones too. Sounds intersting though. Maybe some better use might be capping teeth with metal. If there's a barrier to protect against cavities etc then that's cool.

Has anybody else heard them? Three ex-GnR guys (Slash, Duff, Matt), a drummer and Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots) out to save rock. Songs to try: You got no right Sucker train blues Slither Fall to pieces I think You Got No Right has one of the best guitar solos (by SLash of course) that I've heard since November Rain.

The original trilogy's titles were pretty corny too. The gungans in Ep1 are paletable, but JarJar was a travesty :angry:

The title's quite okay by me. It complements Return of the Jedi quite well. I'm guessing they're pissed because the Sith have been repressed for so long, forced into hiding and all that for hundreds of years etc, being hunted/swatted down everything they show themselves.

With lower taxes and increased spending, it must be grand refusing to pay taxes when the govt has been racking up deficits for the past few years. I suppose we can always complain about social programs like health costs, poor education funding etc when they get shafted.

Mmm... something in that direction, yeah. I think that's all I'll say on it. You'll all just have to wait for anything else about this pet-like thing. -Akari It would be nice if the player (or one of the tech NPCs) could keep modifying it and bring it into battle. Maybe some annoying thing that flits around and shoots weak lasers. So that's 3 NPCs and a semi-familiar thing.

I just downloaded Opera 7.52 (internet browser) and am blowed away by the level of interface customisation. I can add, remove, hide, drag around toolbars. I can choose which buttons go into which toolbar, dragging from a list. I can download skins etc. I haven't tried customising hotkeys, but that should be in too. Why can't game interfaces be like this? No good reason IMO. Features that are proven to be useful to users become mainstream. I'm sure the devs are smart and are capable of implementing this, I just hope they have this in their next game.

I've always wanted to play a game where you manipulate ppl behind the scenes. More so if it was a sequel and the game reflects the position your high level character gets.

The game starts out from a Sith area, the story is told from the Sith point of view. Maybe something like Korriban in KOTOR. We know that even the bad guys may think that they're in the right, as a product of their environment etc. As long as the game's well written and not some lame "give me your lunch money" evil, would you play it? Would you enjoy it?

Small figurines would be cool.

Hm, Pazaak competition would be nice I guess, with entrance fee etc. As long as it's mrore interesting. I think Sabaac would have more depth, though I have no idea how to play it. Lando lost the Falcon to Solo over a game of Sabaac.

I always thought Yoda's not from a specific race, but rather how the Light side of the Force changes your body after hundreds of years. If Windu or Obi1 lived long enough they might shrink, turn green and... As for the Yoda fight scene, it's not Yoda's inherrant physical abilities that make him bounce/spin around. I'm quite sure he's using the force to chuck his body around, so it's not in complete contradiction to his aging body story. His mastery of the Force and control of moving objects would make sense. After the fight you can clearly see that he's pooped.

I was having a look at this picture of a lightsaber fight in the dark. The surfaces close to the lightsabers are appropriately brighter, but not bathed in specific colour of the lightsaber. For example it would have been nicer if the light thrown on the sith were red to reflect the light from their lightsabers. I think it's too late to change the engine, but that would be seomething nice next time.

Black Isle got their voice-overs spot on though. The stuff for BG2 and PS:T was excellent. BIS t-shirts would be cool things to have, though only a few would realise their significance.

I think she'll make a cameo if she turns out to be alive, depending on what the player says.
