But a bunch of new symbols appear below on the screen after you do the number bit and the small display above starts flashing hints. Aren't you supposed to click on the rows of symbols below ?
You sure the number bit does nothing other than give more time ?
I have never been able to complete the hack puzzle in time and I'm at a point now where I need to or the security system will lock me out and I won't be able to proceed.
The first part with the numbers you can usually muddle through, then you have to match a huge row of symbols and there is no time left.
Is it always the same row it's giving hints for ?.
I think they use unarmed actually. Anyway the system is very much geared toward a min max approach. Don't put points into trees you can't really afford to expand.
Does base STR damage and has AP damage on critical hits. Compared to guns it gets effective faster, but it might get hard to hit anything as the enemies start leveling up and you not being able to keep up in allocation of points into melee.
Considering cheating a little to not wind up with the usual min-maxed character. Doesn't really matter if you cheat abilites that kinda cancel eachother out. Having both a high gun skill and a high unarmed for instance won't necessarily help you that much.
Of course if you overdo it you have pretty much ruined your playthrough.
Zoning out at the long dialouges at times but I like it so far. They could have had some of the background play out on other media, like bigscreens and radio. Give short non interactive speech bubbles to random cityfolk, you know, showing rather than telling all the time.
Haven't used my gun since the prolouge which is refreshing. Looks like a high etiquette build is a viable option.
I was disapointed in Skellige. The realestate looks impressive but there is not much in the way of engaging questing and the scottish Vikings are pretty silly.
It's downloading. Will be able to play when I get home from work. The system is not that terrific, combat needs more tactical choices that actually matter but I liked the mood of Dragonfall.
Sandra says I7 4770K @3,5 ghz. Would only consider a processor only upgrade anyway and if it were cheap and it's new so that's not likely. Things are moving slowly on the GFX end though at least at my price point, which would be around an R9, a notch below the pricy headliners like FuryX GFti and Titan.
So DDR4 and a better processor, but how much better. Is it worth upgrading from. I'm not sure I remember what kind of I7 i have. How much do you really need in the processor department anyway.
When is that fabled 3dram going to be stuck on a new gen processor.
Because windows wouldn't allow updates to pirated versions. That has certainly been possible to get around in the past, but it all depends on how much effort Microsoft is going to put into it.
You could Imagine Microsoft offering a digital distribution and DRM service that would not allow you to install software on anything less than a kosher and updated windows installation.
Well, yes, but Microsoft are well placed to have access to your system files for obvious reasons. So, if you don't want a DRMified Windows you will be limited to a hacked version, less secure and not updated.
Could happen.
Sooo. how about that indication that winX is going to automatically version check your software, update, and 'disable' anything pirated. So far perhaps only Microsoft lelated stuff, but long term I think built in digital distribution and DRM is an obvious goal. Beating STEAM at their own game. What's it going to do to their install base though.

Got 2/3 of the way through Arcanum, which I have never completed, when I hit my second game breaking bug that would have required a restart and gave up. What I like most about it is that Followers and NPCs can actually die despite having lengty plot dump dialouges later on. It's ridiculously loop sided to favor magic. You should really start by cranking the difficulty down one notch for a tech character or up one for magic.
Mid life crisis at work. Bought a 20 speed bike and I live in the city.
Big gears are manly dammit. I will be able to majestically overtake younger fitter men (and women)
It needs time. If you lift every day it's never going to get that. File them down with sandpaper or one of those files for skin and tape it.
Or give it time.
Free medical advice straight from the internet from someone who once filed off a lumpy scar with sandpaper. You're welcome.
